me and my friends who ordered from this amazing place!!!

AMAZING CUISINE AND SERVICE! we were on a stroll walking thru town and we saw this restaurant. i ordered beef stew and oh my lord it was DELICIOUS. i kid you not one of my favorite experience in town! also they play good kpop music so that is a bonus!!!

Do Asian Fusion is not a bad restaurant by any means, but it certainly isn't authentic. It's very westernized, and what I mean by that is the options for food you find here are often not found over in South Korea. For instance, this restaurant may add ingredients into some Korean food that would not be added in South Korea. The interior is quite cozy and gives off vibes of a Korean restaurant in Seoul off the street. Cool! I will say though, that while the service is friendly, I've had more than one occasion here where the service has been a bit on the slow side. It's never been a problem for me, but do keep this in mind if you're in a hurry. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but at least the food tastes good, even if it's not actual Korean food. Despite how westernized this place is, I'd come back here again

The food was fantastic! Very spicy but very tasty. The service was very good, but a little weird. My meal came out a full 10 minutes before my husband's. Annoying at the time, but well worth the wait! All the portions we saw were sizable! We sat on the patio which was very pleasant. We'll definitely go back!

Came during a weekend lunch. Had to wait a few minutes as the chefs weren't in the kitchen yet? I opted for udon veggie noodles. It was just a-okay. Service was great and food came out quickly. Just didn't hit the taste buds correctly. Lots and lots of menu options and offer lunch specials.

I ordered the spicy pork dolsot and the seafood pancake. I was wondering why it was a bit pricy but once I got the food and saw the huge portion sizes it made sense. The dolsot was perfect, it had a good amount of different vegetables and the pork was cooked perfectly with a nice slight char flavor. The seafood pancake was also really good, but I prefer it a bit more crispy than it is here. Other than that the flavor of all the food was great and I had enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day!

I haven't gone to Do in a while but I remember back in my undergrad days I would go here a lot and it was great! I recently went back and I was so happy that the food was good! I thought the food came out at a reasonable time. I also loved the kpop songs and other casual music too. What I appreciated the most was how kind and attentive the waiters were :) I will definitely be coming back!

i came with my 8 friends! the servers asked us to wait 10 minutes as they had to rearrange the tables for us since the restaurant is small. we ordered seafood pancake appetizer which was crispy and delicious! it contained squid, shrimp, and vegetables. i ordered boneless korean fried chicken (kfc) as my entree. i believe it was chicken thigh meat. it was super soft and flavorful!! splitting up the orders was a bit difficult since they didn't provide a printed out, computerized receipt. they took our orders by pen and paper, so it was a bit time consuming to divide up prices.

Do is one of the few restaurants that are open late in btown. Their foods were super solid. We ordered budae stew and bibibap this time. Do's Budae stew is like the individual portion of army soup. The stew has ramen and the dish came with rice. Bibibap was good too, but I wish the egg was not fried egg. A little bit runny yolk would make it taste better.

I went to Do on Valentine's Day for the first time and was shocked that I had never been there before. The place itself was smaller and had neon lights, trendy Korean posters, and K-pop playing, all creating a very modern vibe that I loved. The servers were incredibly friendly and the service was amazing. Now... the food. Their kimchi was one of the best that I've had. Their Korean fried chicken (KFC) was like nothing I've ever had before (and it's 20% off right now!). The chicken was incredibly juicy and the sauce was spicy, sticky, and overall just a flavor explosion. Chasing with a sip of Milkis after a massive bite of KFC was the best culinary experience I've had in Bloomington. The bulgogi was one of the better ones that I've had; it was a match made in heaven when combined with their kimchi. For V-day, they had a special for a free honey bread dessert that was very light and mildly sweet. Overall, this place blew my mind and I will be returning very often. This restaurant may be my new BTown favorite and I'll bring anyone that visits to Do.

Bimbimmyun at Do Restaurant. Cold spicy kimchi noodles which are perfect for when you want something spicy on a hot day. I originally got interested in Do when I was working with a Korean exchange student, and she ALWAYS had leftovers from Do. If you want huge portions of great Korean food, this is your place.

The weekend we went happened to be Bloomington Pride, so this place was packed. A fun mixture of college students, 20 something's, and older folks. You enter through a tall fence off of an alleyway, so I'm guessing it's challenging to find if you don't know where you're going, but that's part of the fun. Of the 4 lesbian bars we've been to, this place wins for best decor hands down. We're talking zebra print walls, stuffed unicorn heads, yonic art, glow in the dark paint. Great vibes. They have a super cute outdoor patio as well, and I loved the little food truck on the patio that opens at 9 pm! Great waffle fries and hot sandwiches. Nothing hits as right as hot cheese when you're drunk. They have tons of fun specialty drinks on a menu behind the bar! Also a great mocktail menu for the sober community! Everyone was super welcoming in this space. The one complaint I have is the Dj... we came here to dance the night away and barely made it to 11 pm because the DJ didn't play any recognizable songs or songs with a dancing beat. There were only around 10 people on the dance floor at a given time. On the other hand, this is the first lesbian bar I've been in that has had an operational dance floor with anyone on it, so that's a win. I can't wait to come back again the next time I visit Bloomington!

She and four friends (a group of five) walked in on a Thursday night and were told by the bartender she wouldn't serve them as a group of five because she was "the only one working." Oddly, she said she would have served them if they were a group of three and a group of two. They offered to come up one by one to order instead. They did just that--individually bought beers--but when one of her friends (a Black man) walked back outside within the rails of the establishment, the bartender followed him, grabbed the beer out of his hand, and poured it in the street. She claimed it was "past the rail," even though other groups in the exact same spot were drinking without issue. When they asked for clarification, she eventually handed another friend ~$7 cash to give back to him. The whole situation felt discriminatory, especially since the group was diverse (including Black, Arab, and LGBTQ+ friends), respectful, and well-dressed professionals. Meanwhile, other patrons were not treated this way. To make it worse, when one of them asked a simple question about whether the former owner still ran the place, another customer started yelling at her, saying "everyone knows [owner's name], that doesn't make you special" and the bartender did nothing. What should have been a normal, fun night out turned into an incredibly uncomfortable experience.
