The food was absolutely amazing but also very importantly, the service was so sweet! Everyone was so kind to my wife and I and carried on conversation with us but not over the top! I highly recommend this to everyone!

Another Bloomington gem! Food was awesome - my partner ordered the veggie fried rice and I ordered the kimchi stew and we were not disappointed. My partner who is a very picky eater absolutely devoured the fried rice. They definitely did not skimp on the veggies which is great because it is vegetable fried rice after all! The kimchi stew was so flavorful and I'm glad because I got to take some home for dinner too. They provided some banchans too! The service was friendly and fast enough considering just one wait staff for multiple tables. The place looked like a house outside - it was clean inside. Definitely coming back here for more Korean food. Check them out!

Very disappointed. Beef Bulgogi was subpar. Not very sweet & a small portion for the price. The seafood pancake was undercoooked & salty. We sent back the Jjambong soup (seafood soup) because it was bland. We noticed the employee that was cooking the food was not Korean. At the 2 other Korean establishments we have visited in Bloomington this was not the case & the food was much better. Avoid this place & go elsewhere to avoid the high prices & subpar food.

Fantastic and very authentic. Great food here. Will miss Bloomington and all these great options.

Korea Kimbab, $5.99 prior to tax

Korea Restaurant is located next door to Burma Garden and across the street from B Town Gyros, with some limited street parking. Korea Restaurant looks like a house by the way. This restaurant also has outside (dog friendly) seating. My husband and I decided to drive over here 20 minutes before closing. We ended up making a to go order in person, getting: Korea Kimbab, $5.99 prior to tax- This came in 11 cut pieces. Inside the kimbab (besides rice) was imitation crab, cucumber, seasoned mushroom, egg pickled radish, pickled carrot and a hot dog. Pretty flavorful and tasty, I'd order this again. Chicken Bibimbap, $13.99 prior to tax- I love bibimbap and usually like to order this at any Korean restaurant. This bibimbap is topped with a fried egg (sunny side up). The amount this dish had was good enough for 2 meals. Love all the elements mixed together (rice, carrots, bean sprouts, radish, egg, chicken). Shrimp Bibimbap, $13.99 prior to tax- I am surprised that the shrimp is the same price as the chicken, but with a smaller amount than the amount of chicken I had. Just like mine, my husband's dish also had a fried egg and the portion size was good enough for 2. Complementary Banchan- I was honestly surprised and delighted to see that the lady who took our order also gave us some banchan, one of the most favorite things I look forward to when dining at a Korean restaurant. We had braised potato (one of my favorites), kimchi, strips of fish cake (another favorite), bean sprouts and what I think may have been sliced yellow radish with chili pepper. ---------------------- (Total= $37.77 after tax) To be honest, I was not expecting Korean food to be good here (sorry to those that live in in this area) but it was pretty good and comparable to Korean restaurants that I have dined at back home in Los Angeles. Price point was fair and service was friendly. When my husband and I came in, we were greeted by a woman by the register. I told her we wanted to make a to go order and she gave us menus right away. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regular.

This is probably my favorite place to eat in Bloomington. The owners are the sweetest most wonderful people, the food is incredibly delicious and always satisfying- I always get Korean Gimbop to take home with me as a snack. I love sitting on the porch and absorbing the 4th street vibes... Especially on lightly raining days.

Holy cow was this place fantastic! We ordered a variety of dishes to share and try a bit of as much as we could stomach and had lots to take home afterwards. My absolute favorite was the seafood pancake which was STELLAR! I requested my japchae to be spicy but it was hella sweet. I'm hoping it was miscommunication, because otherwise I wouldn't want to try it sweet! The seafood roll was killer, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called (kimbab I think?) It was similar to sushi, but SO much better. The service was great, the environment was welcoming, and the food was fantastic. Can't wait to go back to B-Town for this gem of a place!

You can tell this place really takes pride in their food and service. Everything was top-notch, and I loved all of the eight little appetizers that automatically come with your table. Each one had so much flavor! The kimchi pancake was very delicious and Rich as well as the fried chicken. The soy bean stew was perfect and had a ton of veggies. Really you can't go wrong! The outdoor section is really cute as well as the indoor section.

The jampong/ seafood soup was wonderful warm seafood goodness! The seafood pancake was surprisingly delicious - not over cooked octopus and the batter was perfectly delivered! We tried several appetizers but our favorite was the korea gimbap without the sausage! This place was perfect Korean dining in my opinion! Service was on point!

This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I'm in Bloomington! The place has cute decor that can be seen all over including the entrance :) The staff is kind as well. I enjoy the food here too! I came here with my family recently and we ordered japchae, galbi, fried chicken, and spicy pork. They were all great! The place also provides banchan or side dishes at the beginning. I'm unsure if it's unlimited or not but I was pretty full with the food I had anyway to mind. The prices here also seem reasonable ranging from $10-20 ish. It depends what you get but I think this is a great restaurant to visit!

Soft tofu stew with kimchi. Came with a side of rice and banchan for free.

I had a great experience here. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the free banchan, especially the cucumbers marinated in some kind of chili paste. Their kimchi was very good. Sour, and a little spicy but not too spicy. I ordered the soft tofu soup with kimchi. It came with a free side of rice as well. The soup came out boiling hot, which was great on a cold day. It had soft tofu, an egg, kimchi, and I think there was perhaps some kind of sliced seafood cake in it as well, but I'm not sure. I thoroughly enjoyed the soup, but I was only able to eat about half of it because the portion was so large. It was $15 before tip, which I think is a fair price, especially with the high quality banchan. I would definitely come here again!

Love the service! The food is great and the outdoor seating was very nice! The umbrella allowed a good amount of shade and the parking was easy and close. Many people came in and out in this street at around 12-2pm so parking wasn't a problem. The view is really nice from the outdoor seating.

RHS bills itself as 'Vietnamese Fusion' and I have no idea what that might mean, but it was good. Very good. We went on a cold day, so eating on the outside deck wasn't an option. The interior is a basic strip mall location with a decent number of tables and plenty of seating, albeit a bit cramped. It's counter service, so it pays to take a look at the menu in advance and know what you want before you arrive. Paid at the counter, and they came to our table with the food very quickly. I had the 'Be Kind to Each Other' Chicken Pho which came with the usual sides of sprouts, basil, lime and noodles. You could upgrade your noodles if you wanted. I also added an order of cajun fries, which doesn't really seem like a 'Vietnamese Fusion' choice, but I love cajun fries so who was I to question them? The Pho was terrific. Loved it. The fries were very very good, though maybe a bit generous on the cajun. Still very good, and I definitely will return for this meal again. Friend ordered the Spam Banh Mi. Seriously???? Well, he did. And he said it was very good. You actually pay $0.50 extra for spam. Again, not sure what world you pay extra for the Spam but he did it. He selected the Fire Engine Tim sauce, which was to be spicy. When I pressed him for more details on the quality he said it could be spicier even with that sauce, but otherwise it was very good. He said to point out on Yelp that "That Diet Coke was clutch" - he may have been making fun of my questioning :) All in all a very good experience and I'll definitely return. I don't find much good pho in Bloomington, so it's nice to have a place for that. I won't be eating Spam anytime soon. I'm giving 4 stars only because the seating was a bit cramped and it was busy inside. I would go 4.5 if it weren't in a strip mall and pretty 'basic' ambiance. And that canned Diet Coke is clutch!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots for a quick meal in town. The menu is Asian…read morefusion, mainly Vietnamese and Thai. There's a lot of choices on the menu and many entrees are customizable with your choice of protein and/or sauce. The place is very vegan/vegetarian-friendly; they have a handful of vegan protein options and most sauces are vegan, if you do try to order a non-vegan sauce with a vegan protein, they'll check to make sure that's okay, vegannaise is available for banh mi, and they will also remove the egg from the entrees containing egg AND take off the price of the egg. Their food may not be totally traditional but I really enjoy it. The level of "authenticity" will vary depending on what you order and which sauces you get in the customizable entrees. Their banh mi bread is different from the banh mi bread I'm used to but I actually like it a lot more. It's crustier and more tender than the usual banh mi bread, closer to a French-style baguette. They stack on lots of fresh veggies. The tofu is thinly-sliced and fried for tenderness that gives it a somewhat similar texture to deli meat. You can also get any banh mi combo as a wrap with the same ingredients, and while the wrap is good for a change of pace, I have to say I prefer the banh mi because the bread is so good. Their other entrees are also delicious and come in hefty portions. Their mapo tofu is the best vegetarian mapo tofu I've ever had. I usually get a Thai iced tea when I come here. It's strong and just the right amount of sweet. I appreciate the oat milk option! I recently tried the Thai iced coffee and that was also really good. Lastly, the staff who work here are very friendly! It seems like a small operation but they work efficiently so I've never had to wait too long for my order! The only thing that's left to be desired here is that everything is served in takeaway containers and they only have plastic cutlery (except spoons for some reason), but I don't know what they're dealing with in terms of capacity to use actual dining ware, so I am not letting that affect my rating.

Bloomington has some excellent Sichuan food, which is the primary Chinese cuisine in town, so when I saw Oasis' extensive menu with a number of spicy dishes listed I got excited and assumed they were Sichuan too. Mistake #1. Mistake #2: Their dinner plates are $8.50, so when I ordered Sichuan shrimp, I should have guessed based on the price that the serving would have only 5 medium sized shrimp. And as I placed my shrimp order I asked if it has any vegetables, and the server pointed me to the veggie dish section. Assuming the shrimp came on its own I ordered a broccoli in garlic sauce ($6.50). Both dishes finally came in identical plates, with the shrimp served with broccoli as well. Like you could tell me that the shrimp came with veggies so I wouldn't order this abundance of broccoli? But she made me order an extra dish with the SAME sauce? These would have been forgiven were it not for the appalling sauce, which resembles the goopy brown cornflour-dumped ketchup-like abomination that passes for everything from General Tso's to "Sichuan" to garlic sauce. I abhor "American Chinese" food loaded in sugar, so I'm unreasonably upset. There was NO difference between my "Sichuan" dish and my "garlic sauce" dish barring a few measly shrimp. And the same sauce has NO heat or spice; an anticlimax considering I was expecting a dish loaded with numbing Sichuan peppercorn and whole chillies. I realized after I was almost done with my meal that the people in the table across me had a different menu with pictures -- and that they were ordering food clearly not on my menu. Well, they stuck me with the American Chinese menu and it sucks. I was very disappointed with my meal. Will not bother coming here again.
