Was aiming to go to Bird's Nest but, finding them closed, I hopped over to Ferguson not knowing what to expect. It was a delightful dinner - the staff is familial and friendly, the place itself is rather old and has that charm for being a house lived-in. There are plenty of good options it seems on the menu, but I was moved to try the street tacos and that was a good choice. They're not "tacos" in the way you might expect, but they are delicious and paired well with the consommé. I had half a Fall Cobb (great choice) and the creme brûlée as well as a treat. Highly recommend!

Oooh my goodness this place is amazing! I've been here twice now and both times I left feeling overly full and very happy. The food is amazing, and they have so many options for dietary restrictions/preferences. Staff is always friendly, and the waiters are attentive to your needs. I love how they hang local art on the walls, it shows how much they value their community. Regarding ADA, they fall somewhere in the middle with trained service animals. They have been hesitant to allow me inside the restaurant with my service dog, but after discussing it, they allow me inside and helped me find good seating. Some rules of ADA are usually broken (asking too many questions, saying no at first, etc.), but after they see how trained my pup is, they usually are pretty apologetic and understanding. Still would recommend them despite this :)

Solid 4.5 stars. Just a block down from the main drag. Really good beef street tacos. Live music out on the patio. Jennifer can hook you up in the bar. The restrooms are clean and it's less crowded than the restaurants on the main drag.

Every year around our anniversary we make a trip to brown county and start off the day at Ferguson House Bistro & Bar. We always get the Turkey cranberry melt that is like a thanksgiving leftover sandwhich but learned that it's only offered in November and we came a weekend early this year. If you come in November you need to try that sandwhich it's to die for! But either way their menu is fantastic. They had a fall inspired cocktail menu also that was so yummy! The food here is so amazing and the service is outstanding. The bar area is homey also so sit in there if you can!

Was given a recommendation to check out Ferguson House Bistro when in Nashville with my pup and it didn't disappoint! Not only was the food fantastic, they had a menu for my Enzo! He definitely enjoyed the sweet potato bites while I enjoyed the brisket tacos. The service was fantastic and had plenty of seating outdoors both on the porch and patio. When in Nashville with a four legged friend or not, it's a must visit!

Very cute outdoor patio and interesting menu. I was happy I was able to fit this dinner in during our trip especially with their limited open hours. We had the crab stuffed mushroom, loaded baked potato soup, salmon patty sandwich with a side salad, and a very cheesy chicken of the week with asparagus and baked potato. I didn't like the crab stuffed mushroom, it was too sweet for me and I didn't like the texture of the filling which I think was imitation crab meat. The salmon patty sandwich was just ok for me as well, I wasn't loving the flavor. I enjoyed the side salad and the loaded baked potato soup was good as well. I heard no complaints about the chicken and baked potato. The asparagus were the thinnest ever and unfortunately overcooked. Service was friendly. Food was just ok and a bit overpriced. I'd stick to more simple things here.

Absolutely new favorite place to eat in Nashville, now! It's only been open 1.5 years but it is so cute and unique, with some awesome history behind it. Pros: great and super friendly service, unique food (we got the leak cashew dip, shrimp, and soups), they have a vegetarian and non vegetarian soup of the day every day, very vegetarian friendly, great cocktails (but they do have a full bar, as well), lots of natural light, outdoor seating and a biergarten, they offer a local discount and a discount if you watch a show at the playhouse that day (15% discount). Cons: have yet to find one! Maybe that it's a haunted house? That's not really a con in my books, though!! We'll be back, this was a new find for me and probably my favorite part of the trip!

Wow. Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Hands down the best restaurant in the city!! I got soup stater, lamp appetizer and steak dinner! Everything was perfect and they had Coppola claret by the glass which is a favorite of mine. For dessert, we got cheese cake and creme Brule. Outstanding

We started with the ttuk kko chi which were rice cakes covered in a gochujang sauce. The cakes were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sauce it was in was amazing, balancing the heat from the gochujang with some sweetness. Next, we got the Korean fried chicken (they were out of KFC wings). I remember the sauce being a little more red last time, but it was still good. Super crispy exterior and no excess batter so we just tasted the juicy chicken. The two entrees we got were the spicy chicken and jaeyuk. The spicy chicken was flavorful and tender. Along with the chicken, the veggies were stir fried nicely and coated in the broth. The jaeyuk was a little better with the pork having a great marinade and also being super tender. On top of the food we ordered, we were given a salad, soup, and rice which were all nice accompaniments. This was the meal I was looking forward to the most in my return and it did not disappoint. The only and I mean only thing to change is having bigger napkins on the table. Everything else is great and most importantly all the food is delicious.

RHS bills itself as 'Vietnamese Fusion' and I have no idea what that might mean, but it was good. Very good. We went on a cold day, so eating on the outside deck wasn't an option. The interior is a basic strip mall location with a decent number of tables and plenty of seating, albeit a bit cramped. It's counter service, so it pays to take a look at the menu in advance and know what you want before you arrive. Paid at the counter, and they came to our table with the food very quickly. I had the 'Be Kind to Each Other' Chicken Pho which came with the usual sides of sprouts, basil, lime and noodles. You could upgrade your noodles if you wanted. I also added an order of cajun fries, which doesn't really seem like a 'Vietnamese Fusion' choice, but I love cajun fries so who was I to question them? The Pho was terrific. Loved it. The fries were very very good, though maybe a bit generous on the cajun. Still very good, and I definitely will return for this meal again. Friend ordered the Spam Banh Mi. Seriously???? Well, he did. And he said it was very good. You actually pay $0.50 extra for spam. Again, not sure what world you pay extra for the Spam but he did it. He selected the Fire Engine Tim sauce, which was to be spicy. When I pressed him for more details on the quality he said it could be spicier even with that sauce, but otherwise it was very good. He said to point out on Yelp that "That Diet Coke was clutch" - he may have been making fun of my questioning :) All in all a very good experience and I'll definitely return. I don't find much good pho in Bloomington, so it's nice to have a place for that. I won't be eating Spam anytime soon. I'm giving 4 stars only because the seating was a bit cramped and it was busy inside. I would go 4.5 if it weren't in a strip mall and pretty 'basic' ambiance. And that canned Diet Coke is clutch!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots for a quick meal in town. The menu is Asian…read morefusion, mainly Vietnamese and Thai. There's a lot of choices on the menu and many entrees are customizable with your choice of protein and/or sauce. The place is very vegan/vegetarian-friendly; they have a handful of vegan protein options and most sauces are vegan, if you do try to order a non-vegan sauce with a vegan protein, they'll check to make sure that's okay, vegannaise is available for banh mi, and they will also remove the egg from the entrees containing egg AND take off the price of the egg. Their food may not be totally traditional but I really enjoy it. The level of "authenticity" will vary depending on what you order and which sauces you get in the customizable entrees. Their banh mi bread is different from the banh mi bread I'm used to but I actually like it a lot more. It's crustier and more tender than the usual banh mi bread, closer to a French-style baguette. They stack on lots of fresh veggies. The tofu is thinly-sliced and fried for tenderness that gives it a somewhat similar texture to deli meat. You can also get any banh mi combo as a wrap with the same ingredients, and while the wrap is good for a change of pace, I have to say I prefer the banh mi because the bread is so good. Their other entrees are also delicious and come in hefty portions. Their mapo tofu is the best vegetarian mapo tofu I've ever had. I usually get a Thai iced tea when I come here. It's strong and just the right amount of sweet. I appreciate the oat milk option! I recently tried the Thai iced coffee and that was also really good. Lastly, the staff who work here are very friendly! It seems like a small operation but they work efficiently so I've never had to wait too long for my order! The only thing that's left to be desired here is that everything is served in takeaway containers and they only have plastic cutlery (except spoons for some reason), but I don't know what they're dealing with in terms of capacity to use actual dining ware, so I am not letting that affect my rating.

This is explained on the website and I believe when I made a reservation online. With about 10 minutes yet to go on our 90 minutes, a person whom i assume was the manager came to our table to remind us. This was okay although it could have been worded differently. We were just paying the bill that had just arrived when she came back again stating she had a reservation waiting and she needed us to basically leave. Establishments like BODHI highlight the true meaning of cuisine bridging together love and community - uniting people, sharing Thai cultural traditions and deepening human connections around a shared table whether in the dining room, the bar or their picture-esque patio! Jake was absolutely incredible. From our service to our desert we were left with full hearts (and of course tummies) for the duration of our trek home to Nashville. We of course had to order some cocktails, we ordered our birthstones or on their menu their collection from Gems of Siam "Black Star Sapphire" and "Ruby" The Ruby ended up being the star of the show! The most unique drink we both have tried! We have never experienced something quite like that! From the ruby chocolate swoosh with a boozy tropical gel to the coconut milk punch adding depth to the Song Cai Dry Gin I was left in awe. (Recommend a sip and then a bite of the chocolate to enhance the flavor profile) Our meals were created with such love. It was truly art. Played beautifully and tasted phenomenal. The noodles were light, fluffy, amazing. The Crab Puffs were incredibly light and delicate which gave me a new appreciation for them! I felt like I could devour them without feeling too full or guilty to finish my meal. The curry was spectacular. The spices, the aroma, the flavor profile everything was perfect. No notes. We told our server what we like and they recommended a couple options. I again can't remember the exact name of the drink but mine was a gin cocktail. I'll attach some photos for you. As for the food, every bite I took was delicious. Our table shared the fried brussel sprouts and the ginger miso salad. A very lovely way to ease into our meal on a lighter note. They split up the salad onto two plates for us, which was sweet of them. The portion was pretty good for a $12 salad. Very refreshing. Brussel sprouts were absolutely fire. Get them! Along with that, I also ordered the tempura shrimp maki roll. Inside the roll was cucumber and avocado with giant tempura shrimp right on top, drizzled in spicy mayo. The presentation was cool, a slightly deconstructed version of what I would get somewhere else. There wasn't a single bite left on the plate. I would order all three of these dishes again in a heartbeat. Perfect for a date night or special occasion, but also works for just grabbing a bite with friends. It features their noodles, truffle zest, pork belly, egg, veggies and chicken in a deeply flavorful broth. Order a side of rice and dip it into the broth and thank me later! Patio seating available.

I had very high hopes coming here after all of the awesome reviews on this place, and I left a…read morelittle bit disappointed, because I personally don't think my experience lived up to the hype. We came in on a Friday night at 6:30 with no reservation, and had to wait ~5 minutes for a table of two. We were sat at a high top at the bar, which we appreciated. Our server greeted us quickly, and checked in a few times throughout the night. Service was average, nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. I had a hurricane to start off. Packed full of the good stuff, and one was definitely enough for the night. Appropriate price for what you get. This drink is what brought my review from a 2 for the food to a 3 in total. We started off with pork Bao buns. The bun was spongy, but somewhat dry. The pork lacked any sort of flavor, and the sauce on it didn't do much for me. The next part of the meal was the most disappointing for me: the curry chicken wings. Let me tell you- I was excited for these. These lacked any sort of flavor at all, and the only thing saving it was the ranch. The wings had a good crisp, but the sauce was lacking taste. I had the Shoyu ramen for my main. It was a pretty average bowl of ramen, but for the price, I expected more. The pork in it was flavorful, but the chicken in it was odd in my opinion with an unexpected herby flavor. Overall, service was average (but we appreciated getting sat fast), drinks were strong (and saved the meal) and the food was average. Would go if invited by a friend, but probably would not return on my own.
