Bubble World is usually a place I can rely on for a great bubble tea when I am downtown. Farther than I would like to waddle, but I don't mind. I'm excited that they are going to be serving food soon, now if they could hurry it up, that would be lovely.. read more

Love the bubble tea and fresh taro slush (not the purple powder one) here! It taste better than Chatime a block away and it on average $1.5 cheaper! Good deal and good stuff! read more

Cant go wrong going to Bubble World. They got lottaaaaaa different flavours and pearls. Reasonably priced and they got street fighter in the back! Bubble Tea: 4/5 Price 3/5 Location 5/5 read more

Came with the kids for bubble tea. We ordered mango strawberry slush with pearls and it did not disappoint! The $2 toy machine stocked with Star Wars figures was a nice touch, giving us something fun to play while we enjoyed our drinks. We'll be back for sure read more

Quick and friendly service on both visits! The fresh fruit bubble teas are such a great deal- $5 for a large size. I had the papaya milk one night and an avocado milk the next night. Both were flavourful and so smooth. They have little stations where you can play a few retro games too. read more

Fast service, has 4 arcade machines. Said arcade machines include games such as "Puckman Pockimon" and "Michael Jackson". 10/10 would come again. read more

My favourite bubble tea place in downtown vancouver go here a couple of days every week. The staff there is always friendly and the price is great. My personal favourites there are fresh Taro, Tofu dessert, watermelon and Japanese Ice cream slush. They can also customise your order if you ask them to make it less sweet or more sweet whichever you prefer. The food there is also wonderful and you have to try the Tawainese style chicken nuggets which are to die for. I also personally like the chinese beef pancake and squid tentacles but nuggets are a must. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. read more

This is the first time I stepped into this restaurant asides from the other locations in lower main land. The moment stepping in the restaurant I was not greeted by staff. There were 4 at the front that did nothing but just play on there phones and talk to each other. When I placed an order at the front it took 10 mins just to put in my order just for a drink. I was not pleased by the amount of drink that was given to me as it was only 3/4, I like bubble world, but not this location, read more

This place has amazing bubble tea. I am a huge fan of Taro bubble tea and this is by far the best place that I have gotten it since coming to Vancouver (add ice cream :D)! They have a big variety of drinks! Such a cute little place and the price is cheap. And i've never had anything but quick and friendly service! read more

The drinks here are great. I got the mango slush with mango jelly, (yes I am a mango fan) and it tasted better than I expected. The one problem I have with this place is the limited seating. Other than that, the service is quick and good! read more

Bubble World - Mango slush with mango jelly - Taiwanese Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

I love this place. Went yesterday with my bf and ordered the wrong taro bubble tea and it was not the one we wanted (our fault as we didn't know the fresh taro bubble tea is not the yummy purple one). The ladies changed it with no charge and were so nice about it. Two thumbs up for the yummy bubble teas but mostly two thumbs up for the service! That is what makes us wanna go back. read more

Not a great boba place. The Taro has zero flavor. The tea is weak and sour. The boba is floury. The quality of the ingredients are not good at all. read more

Still the best bubble tea store out there! All the locations across the lower mainland are consistent with their ingredients! I just wish the Robson location Would have the stamp card so I could get a free drink! read more

Poor customer service and place is dirty! They told us all of the food is gone. Cashier seems like she does not want our business.

Definitely one of my favourite bubble tea places. I've been going there for many years. There are many options for drinks, as well as snacks and meals. The staff there are extremely friendly, especially the owner. There are a lot room to sit, and there are 2 tiny video game stations. Feels extremely homely to me. I recommend the original milk tea and jasmine milk tea (less sweet than original), both with light ice. read more

This bubble world is very similar to the other locations. They offer a wide range of toppings (rainbow jelly, coffee jelly, grape jelly, taro pearls, etc.), and they display them in glass jars on the counter for those who are not familiar. The menu is quite standard. I ordered the passion-fruit slush with taro pearls for $5. I thought it was good, not too sweet unlike the New Westminster location. The slush has a similar problem as the Tim Hortons ice cap where you get chunks of ice towards the end, and waiting for that to melt takes a while. The store has a good ambiance, lots of seats, and goes through the top 40 playlist in the background. read more

It was okay. The service was fast. My only turn off was system related for the place. The gripe I have is that when you make a purchase via Debit or Credit, you have to hunt to make a custom tip. They have the primary choice as 15, 20, 25%. There isn't an option for no tip. I'm not necessarily being cheap but, there isn't much service when you go to a bubble tea shop so I don't think it merits one as there isn't a server. Would I go there again - yes, but only to pay cash to avoid navigating the menu. read more

This is the best bubble tea in Canada. I used to lived in Taiwan and China, and I know the real local bubble tea. This bubble tea is the same one as the real local one. I am addicted this bubble tea because it is so delicious! read more

Small joint to grab and go. My two favourites are taro and fresh papaya milk tea. You can let them know 'half sweet' if you do not want too much sugar in your drink. Quality is pretty consistent even though I once had a tasteless papaya milk drink during winter. I suspect it is because fresh papayas are hard to come by during winter and they bought a less than sweet batch, so won't really fault them. During the days when they are out of papayas, I get my taro drink. A little filling but yummy all the same. Prices I feel are very fair given their location downtown. read more

You guys are going to laugh.... I have been living in Vancouver for just over ELEVEN MONTHS... and I have not yet had bubble tea... UNTIL TODAY :) I've just heard that the only good place is the "Dragon Tea" place.. but it's too far for me to get to.. however I really had to get it today and I went to Bubble World, isn't this the first bubble tea shop in Vancouver or something? I didn't know what to get because their selection was pretty big.. and the prices seemed pretty awesome. I asked for the opinion of the guy behind the counter and he told me lots of people order Taro Milk Tea and or strawberry mango slush. I didn't want to make him feel like an idiot by doubting his expertise and choosing something else.. so I went with the mago strawberry (and I craved mango and fresh fruit!).. and also because I realllllllllllly do no like Taro (someone has to explain to me what makes it taste soo good). Anyways I got rainbow jelly with it because I like colours and stuck with my decision. OHH LALA this was DELICIOUSSSSSSS... I think they used the syrupy strawberries and definitely used mango juice of some sort but it was sooo tasty and sweet as can be. Maybe I'll opt out for the syrip next time. The jelly tasted like mini jello cubes, firmer than I'd prefer but it was my own choosing so I can't blame anyone but myself. There are some arcade games in the back and a small group of people having the time of their lives on these games. Seemed like fun! read more

I enjoyed my coconut milk tea with pearls. It satisfied my after-dinner sweet tooth. Between this place and Chatime down the street, I think I prefer Chatime, but it was still delicious and looked like Bubble world may have had a bigger menu. read more

Mmm, bubble tea! Thank god it's easy to drink while walking down the street, because this place is tiny. There are like two tables in it and a bunch of arcade machines. More importantly, though, the bubble tea is great. And I think they started using more natural ingredients recently, because I definitely don't remember there being any tiny bits of strawberry in my strawberry milk tea a couple of years ago. There's nothing better than a nice bubble tea on a hot day. So refreshing! read more

I love boba and this boba place did well! The boba has the perfect texture...not too hard and not too soft.

By far one of the worst bubble tea places I've experienced. I ordered their honey green milk tea with grass jelly and my boyfriend a taro milk tea with boba. The honey green milk tea tasted slightly better than the taro, but was very heavy handed on the honey. The grass jelly did not have the grass jelly flavor, and tasted quiet bland-but at least it wasn't as tooth decaying as the taro. The taro was extremely sweet and super heavy on the cream. After taking a few sips we noticed that the taro tea was still latching on to the side of the plastic cup due to high amount of cream and sugar, which is highly unusual. Would not go to this place again. I had higher expectations considering Vancouver's higher population of asians to make the tea more authentic--apparently not. read more

I would not recommend this place. The drinks suck. My kids are boba experts, and they all think boba here are bad. But the thing that got my attention the most is the customer service. The attitude. It's rude. The girl who worked there (Tues 7-16-2012 around 4pm) were really really rude. There were no greetings, no smiles the whole time. I asked her very nicely on how to use the Canadian coins to operate the Kiddy Toy Machine (you know the Canadian coins are different), and it seemed like she annoyed by that. When I asked her again (it still didn't work), she answered then turn around and talked to her male co worker in Chinese and laughed. I felt really weird, and that somehow ruined my afternoon. I want to share this with you guys out there: drinks suck, customer service: sucks big time. And to the owner: Re train your employees, fire that short girl. You are lucky we gave you 1 star read more

It's really really sweet. I had milk tea and my friends had plain and all were super sweet although we asked for less sugar on some of the drinks they were all about the same. There's also no place to stand when getting take out since it's just a tiny area near the front desk. read more

This pearl joint is probably one of the better ones downtown that I've experienced. Very slow here for business during the day, but I have yet to com here at night. I got the passion-fruit green tea with passion-fruit jelly and it was delicous mmmmmmmmm. Bubble World is one of my fave bbt joints, but I usually go to the Kingsway one. read more

One of the closest bubble tea I could find nearby my hotel. One of them is cha time, but this one is a lot cheaper. They don't have a lot of flavors to choose from but honestly, they only have the good flavors anyways so it doesn't really matter. They have pretty good boba and the staff are really friendly. There's video games on the side where you could keep yourself busy whilst your waiting for your order. read more

I ordered a Peach Slush with tapioca pearls and mg brother ordered a Green Apple Slush with Green Apple Jelly. The drinks tastes delicious but a lot of pearls in my drink were not cooked fully/ not cooked. They also have some games you can play at the back of the store. I also like that they have jars full of the add- ons you can add in to your drink. read more

My girl friend and I passed by this bubble world because we were craving their avocado bubble tea. We ordered our drinks and the They don't have as much thy were great. They don't have a big selections of foods in their menu as the other bubble worlds. The owner were friendly and explained how to make many things fresh each day. Overall we had a great experience and we will for sure go back again. read more

I'm not a bubble tea expert but I liked my drink here. I got chocolate milky tea with pearls. It was nicely chocolatey and not very tea-y. I liked the pearls a lot - maybe I'm not used to them being sweetened? 'cause I liked these ones fine. read more

This place holds a lot of downtown memories for me before chatime opened nearby. I always get the wintermelon tea with pearls. This is the only bbt place in Vancouver I've found so far that serves wintermelon tea, which is very authentically Taiwanese and one of my favourite drinks. I find it kind of disturbing personally to watch them make powder drinks right in front of you though, dont really want to acknowledge the crap that I'm consuming with my bbt read more

I really wanted to like this place because the price was so good. I feel like the boba was watered down. I had a green milk tea with boba and it was just all right. I would highly recommend going with the black milk tea because there was more flavor in that drink. read more

Best BOBA EVER!!!!!! Mango Milk tea with Boba

Great bubble tea spot! I had the mango slush with tapioca. It was super good! The really nice thing about this bubble tea was that it didn't freeze the tapioca inside it. Usually with other places, when they serve slushes, the ice in the slushes freeze the tapioca bubbles so they become little hard tapioca rocks, but not this time! The tapioca stayed soft! GREAT BUBBLE TEA! read more

Holy boba, Batman! Bubble World has one of the best boba drinks I have ever had outside of Taiwan! It may be because I haven't had a truly well-made boba drink in years living in TX, but the taro milk boba I ordered rocked my world. The boba had just the perfect chewiness without being too hard or too soft and the taro milk was so creamy and flavorful. It was rather filling, which was surprising since I've never had a boba drink that satisfied my hunger. Bubble World, please consider opening a store in TX as to spread the joy of boba far and wide! read more

I would give 3.5 stars if I could, but just couldn't give 4 stars. The milk tea tasted very good, pretty sweet with regular sugar. For me the boba (the most important part) was too gooey. I like my boba more gummy. The eats were a mixed bag. The pork chops were great, while the onion pancake was pretty mediocre at best (no taste and was kinda soggy). Overall the service was just okay and it's a typical hole in the wall boba place, nothing crazy special. read more

Great bubble tea, the menu was nice and small so it was way to decide what we wanted. We had the taro milk tea with coconut jelly. Though I has asked for half sweet, the tea was still very sugary. Unfortunately we hardly got to taste the coconut jelly because it wouldn't fit through the straw. They need to rethink the jelly shape read more

my fiancée loves this place. it's pretty good. my favourite is the passionfruit red tea half sweet with no bubbles. also, the watermelon slush is really good... oh yeah, there's no double bubble video game anymore... read more

After shopping til I drop on Robson (just kidding. I just window shop), I hit this place up when I need a refreshing bubble tea drink. They have a great menu and there's enough seating to chill and chat with friends. Their pearls are yummy! I love the consistency. Cooked to perfection. The drinks are flavourful and pretty affordable. It's alright considering it's in Downtown. This place is my next favourite to the Pearl Fever in Coquitlam. They have Aloe Vera jellies here. ALOE VERA IS SO DELISH! Everyone has to come here :D read more
