I wasn't asking for anything free. I wasn't trying to get the meal taken off the bill. I paid for my food. I simply explained that the chicken was really dry and asked whether they hear that complaint often. Her response was basically, "Everybody has their own opinion." On this weekday I came for the Jasmine Milk Tea. Last time this was under the Tea Latte section, but they menu changed and there is now a dedicated Milk Tea section. And also there is a Jasmine Latte with Espresso in it, but that is under the Espresso section. I was able to get it chilled but without ice. The lowest sweetness level was 50%, but I asked nicely and they estimated they could make a 25% for me. It turned out wonderfully, extremely floral, barely any sweetness so the Jasmine aroma and taste were the dominant ones. In the food side I selected the popcorn chicken. I can take some heat but only a small bit, so I asked for the spice powder in the side. I just looove the texture of the popcorn chicken. You can see in the picture that it's a very thin breading, almost not there, but the texture seems almost as if an invisible rice flour was tossed in the outside. Still juicy in the inside, and small pieces to make every bite pop-able. The chicken comes with a ranch sauce, though to me it's a second thought. Add a hint of spice or even have the chicken as is, no ranch is needed.

She did offer to remake it, but I said no because if the texture was intentional, wouldn't a replacement have been just as slimy? I was later offered a free drink if I emailed them 24 hours in advance. I'll give an extra star for the offer, but no thanks. After getting sick and having such a bad experience, I don't understand why I'd willingly come back for another drink.

Probably the least sweet of the three we tried. -Reese's was good but a little overpowering on the peanut butter side. -The coconut is way too sweet. Reminded me of an almond joy without the almond. Cake is a little dry. Frosting helps balance it out but most of them are too sweet. Like how they're small in size so you can sample multiple if you desire without feeling too heavy. Can't speak to service or ambiance since I didn't visit the store.

Every single one of the staff were so friendly which is nice to walk into a place so welcoming. Friendly hi, making sure everyone was taken care of and if anything was needed. Great customer service. Drinks didn't take long to arrive followed by the first item. The cinnamon apple French toast. It was quite nice with the crunch and apple jam. Everything was great when brought out that no extra syrup was needed. Also served with whipped cream. Within a Couple minutes after that, the entrees came out. An order of the kimchi buttered fried chicken Benedict. First off, it was delicious. Two big portions of Benedict, with kimchi added and the chicken had a lot of flavors. It wasn't too powering with the kimchi and worked really well. That came with their potatoes and a side salad. And the Norwegian Benedict with smoked salmon. Basically a smoked salmon Benedict with all the trimmings. The meals were great and the dishes were massive. We've seen a couple of people sharing plates and lots of leftovers. The food was great and delicious. Service didn't take long after ordering and staff were all very friendly. The only waiting was for a table but that's a given during the weekend. We each got one.. we definitely could've gotten different things lol but it's what we were all craving. But because we all had the same thing, we were all able to come to the same consensus- some places are meat free, dairy free, ect but this place is SEASONING FREE! Atrocious. The only spice was a hint of spice as in HEAT not as in FLAVOR. There was no flavor in the chicken, in the eggs, in the coleslaw, no where. And the little side salad that it came with made absolutely zero sense- a bunch of arugula ,with one tiny tomato sliced in half, with some corn sprinkled on top.... We were done about an hour before our reservation time. We hoped to be accommodated earlier but saw the long line and crowd waiting as we drove by. We decided to run a couple small errands instead. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation. It was still busy, but there were not as many people waiting. The hostess was so warm and welcoming. She let us know that the customers at our designated table were almost done and that they will have it ready in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, those customers decided to linger much longer. Thirty minutes later, they were still hanging around. We fully understood that this was not by any fault of the restaurant. We continued to wait patiently. The hostess was very apologetic and was trying to work out a solution which led to the Floor Manager (Karla) getting involved. We were eventually seated at another table, with the option to move should the other table become available. Karla then took the time to apologize for the wait and unfortunate first impression. As we got started with drinks and a pastry for the daughter, the other table opened. The hostess immediately came to move us. It all went smoothly from there. Table service was casual and attentive. We started with the Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Baguette & Bordier Butter. The daughter tried the Iced Matcha Latte. For our entrées -- Shakshuka, Patty Melt and Brioche Eggs Benedict (with salmon). I was eager to try the Potato Gravlax, but it was sold out. :( Everything was so, so delicious! Fresh and flavorful. Lovely presentations. Very good portions. As we were finishing, Karla came to our table again to express her gratitude for our patience and understanding. It's a small menu, to be sure, but I come for my regular dishes. Xotchil notices when we've not been by for a bit. Feels like a warm local spot. Sometimes we go on an urban hike through the hilly neighborhood across the train tracks afterwards.
