Jin Tea is a nice and small Tea Shop. The menu includes various assortment of specialties drinks, cold brew tea, specialty tea, organic sweet milk, and more. They also have egg puffles but unfortunately they ran out of it by the time I went there. There is a parking structure next to it. It is a pick up type of tea shop because It doesn't have seating. They have several baristas. The staff were nice and friendly. I was indecisive at first because they have many delicious and refreshing drinks, But I ultimately chose Pink Dragon fruit. Had this spot on my try list for a very long time and initially, I was pretty happy with the experience as the interior was very clean. Although it's a small shop, their menu is pretty extensive, and their specialty drinks come with a different type of cup. No seating inside, just a grab and go type shop. My partner and I ordered the BROWN SUGAR MATCHA LATTE and the DAY & NIGHT MILK TEA. Orders came out within 5 minutes so that was a nice sight to see. The drinks are definitely more aesthetic than anything. I was a bit disappointed with the matcha taste. It tasted a bit more watered down than matcha that I usually drink. The brown sugar adds a little flavor to it but that's about it. 6.5/10. The Day & Night MT was pretty similar, definitely a unique taste that I've never/rarely tried before. Charcoal taste with oolong tea, milk, and a bit of brown sugar is definitely a new taste for me. Not my cup of tea at the moment. The color mix is best for picture but give it a mix and the drink becomes full charcoal color. 5/10. I'd also say that their speciality drinks cups are pretty unique. I personally love the potion type gimmick although I'm not sure what the sizing of it is like compared to your standard cups. It's pretty sturdy and reusable as well. We ordered three drinks, and all of them were very good. The cashier was excellent and did a great job explaining what we were getting, which made the ordering process easy and enjoyable. However, the experience took a turn once our drinks were ready. When they were called out, we asked which drink was which. The employee behind the counter (a brunette) responded by saying, "read the tag." When we asked again for clarification since two of the drinks looked very similar she repeated the same response instead of helping. A simple, quick explanation would have gone a long way, especially for first-time customers. Unfortunately, her attitude took away from what could have been a great visit. We may give it another try, but that interaction definitely left a negative impression. I'd recommend some coaching on customer service, because the drinks themselves were solid. read more

There's a lot of drink options: Top choice: includes milk teas, and roasted fruit teas Jin Specialties: this one has no customization available. The boba is okay but I still get it anyway because a lot of their milk teas already come with it. The specialties are interesting but not something I'd rave about. I am addicted to Winter Melon lately and one of my girlfriends told me how good the winter melon was at Boiling Point. Since we had dinner at Mama Lu's across the street, I asked her if she would like boba. We walked to Boiling Point and since we weren't going to sit for dinner and told the server that we just wanted to order the winter melon, he directed us to this place next door which is where they get their teas from. We both ordered the winter melon juice but I ordered the regular version and my girl friend ordered the lemon version. I've been meaning to try out Jin Tea Shop (not to be confused with Jin Tea House, lol) and it happened to be nearby and open when I was attending an event close by. You can even purchase packets of their tea leaves here as well & they tout that they are all organic as well. Depending on what you order too, you can get your drink in a fancy plastic bottle that'll showcase the visual aesthetics of your drinks quite well. I got the: 1) Day & Night Milk Tea: -It's made with activated charcoal so if you're on specific medications, keep this in mind! -So it's activated charcoal, organic milk, oriental oolong tea, and brown sugar. -It creates a white black gradient (like day and night) and is very aesthetically pleasing, when mixed, it's just brown lol. -Not bad, just tastes like a brown sugar oolong milk tea if anything. 2) Signature Organic Milk 1: -It's caffeine free since it's just milk. Staff took like 5-10 minutes to realize we were in the shop. We came in and no one was upfront so we waited until they noticed. After taking our order, it didn't take long to get started on the order. Visually the teas are beautiful. I only took pictures of 2 but we ordered 6 drinks and they were all ok, nothing I'm eager to come back for. What I do like was how tall the glasses were. Tea shops usually put more ice than liquid and you run out quickly. That was not the case here. Parking was scarce. We parked pretty far and walked over. I don't think I'll be back, simply because of the location and how difficult it was to access parking. But if I'm already in the area on foot and thirsty, I might give them another go. I got what used to be the #2 organic milk, but they have a new menu and are now calling it the panda jelly milk tea. I ordered on the phone and the cashier was very helpful and patient.
