I ordered an original bubble puff with half mochi filling and half chocolate filling, but the employee made a mistake. She gave me a free half waffle with the filling she forgot to add though! I appreciate the customer service. :) Also, the white peach oolong tea is great. The tea isn't overwhelmingly bitter, nor too sweet (I got 75% sugar). It had a subtle peach flavor that I like. I didnt know this place was right in front of PCC! I wasnt sure to order ahead since it was 25-32 min drive from work. I was so excited to try this place. I ordered the house specialty: Messy Brown Sugar Boba and it did not disappoint. Made sure to mix it before drinking, it was very tasty. I also got the Hokkaido Milk Tea and my boyfriend said it was good. I also ordered the popcorn chicken with mild spice( next time i will order it to be hotter) the sauce that came with it tasted watered down..wasn't sure if it was supposed sweet and sour sauce. This spot is always a go-to when i'm in the area (＞ڡ＜) I love their red bean rock which Is basically like a red bean smoothie. The place is right next to the City College so it's a perfect spot to hang out at in between classes. I am writing for two reasons 1. This place has the most bomb drinks and bubble waffles i have ever tasted and everything was fresh and made to order. 2. The customer service was above and beyond what i would expect of any establishment. Visited with a group of kids and while the kids played across the street at PCC.. our ordered was being made. We picked up our order went back to the campus to enjoy our food and drinks only to realize we forgot 1 item. As we were about to get up to go a lovely woman named Connie from the shoppe appears with our item: she left the store, walked across the street to find us on the campus of PCC and smiling and apologetic for forgetting to give us the item. I ordered Taiwanese tempura and was given barely any and they looked pretty dinky. Although it tasted good enough, the hot pepper they put on top was WAY too spicy, even though I asked for mild! Our lips were literally numb after just taking one bite. We also ordered messy brown sugar drink and we added bobba because the order screen prompted us asking if we wanted bobba for an additional cost, and it did not indicate that it already comes with bobba. So when the worker was making the drink, she then informed us after the fact that it already comes with bobba. So I asked if we can put the extra bobba we paid for in a separate cup. The manager (ostensibly) said no. Seriously? What kind of bad customer service is this - so we paid for extra bobba but got less of the drink itself because your order screen prompted us to pay extra for the bobba. Not returning to this place obviously - bobba stores are a dime a dozen. Learn some good customer service, otherwise you will go out of business. read more

I needed real Egg Waffles and found this place and it didn't disappoint! Light, crunchy outside and gently chewy inside egg waffles made to order. I'd normally have to drive down to SGV to get one, but I'm glad there's an alternative. I also ordered the Matcha flavored one, but prefer the original. Sweetness is subtle, as expected. Our order: Popcorn chicken ($5.5) Matcha bubble puff (egg waffle) ($5) 2x White Peach Oolong tea with boba 75% less sugar and less ice. (~$5) The popcorn chicken portion size was a little over a cup size and comes with this sweet and tangy sauce. Portion wasn't great for the $, but it was good. Crunchy on the outside and juicy, tender in the middle with each bite size. We killed it in less than a minute. The matcha bubble puff was not bad at all. Super crunchy on the outside and chewy and airy on the inside. The white peach oolong tea was reaalllyyy good. It's one of the most recommended teas on their menu and on Yelp and I'm so glad that I went with it. You can taste the freshness of the tea with a hint of white peach. I don't like my teas that sweet so this one was super refreshing. Would recommend coming for the tea if you're around Pasadena or PCC. FYI, they are closed on Sundays! read more

Cute little shop. You get to place your order on this giant iPad version which I thought it was pretty cool. But what made this place more interesting is that it gives you options on how to order your beverage. It actually ask if you want "sugar" in it. When I tried the Taro milk tea with no sugar it's was quite refreshing actually. I prefer that way now that I've tried it with now sugar. Cheese foam tea connoisseur here..... The variety of real tea leaves is amazing - rose, osmanthus, jasmine, etc. The best part is that every cup is fresh brewed! I tried the Peach oolong and the robust freshness was great! (Most boba spots serve a jug of green tea which has been sitting stale the whole day). I went in on their opening day and they were understandably a little slow, but the Passion Fruit tea was excellent. I went back two weeks later and they already have all the kinks worked out. We order popcorn chicken, a mango tango smoothie and a matcha bubble puff with red beans. Everything came out super fast and tasted delicious. The smoothie was creamy, full of mango and not overly sweet. The popcorn chicken was an excellent savory snack. Their bubble puffs are unique. Warm and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
