My husband and I decided to have a quick bite to eat. We had never been to Bubba's so we thought we'd try it out. We were seated quickly and our waiter Brady was awesome! He made suggestions and even though it was his second day on the job he was great! We ordered the shrimp and chicken tenders with fries, Nacho Mamas pizza and the spicy habanero burger. Everything was fresh and delicious. I can't wait to try other options on the menu. Morgan the service manager came by our table and gave us a free appetizer coupon for our next visit. This place was amazing! We eat out a lot and travel all over the US I would say this is definitely a top pick of places we've been. It was a Saturday evening and the wait staff was able to get a table for our large party of 9 with in 30 mins of when we called. It was super busy when we visited, but the noise level was very good and the energy and attitude of the entire staff was upbeat. I would definitely recommend making this a stop while in Fisher. I like that a place like Bubba's exists. It is a large restaurant with cold beer, tons of tvs, and salty bar food. The service is friendly and overall very good. I give it 3 stars because the food solid but not more than that. The fried pickles are lightly breaded slices, salty, and above average, same for the fries. If you're in a group looking for a place to eat or if you want to watch a game, Bubba's is a great option. If you're looking for something unique, then you should probably look elsewhere. Bubba's is way better than Applebees, Chilis, Flingers, etc. Fair prices too. read more

My son loves his Bubba's! Great atmosphere, always good staff and service, friendly and clean, and consistently good food. Prices are fair for the amount of food you receive. Soooo... this review is two fold... Please read all of it. The food is really really good. I've never had a bad meal there. The service is good and the food is really good... But... On Thursday during lunch, I was horrified to have a roach (small brown), running right across my table setting, onto my plate, off the plate over my phone and into the dish area at the bar. The staff came and wiped up the area and carried on as if nothing happened. No ackowledgment from management, which concerns me that it could possibly be a normal thing there or at the least they do not care. I won't be going back unfortunately. I have tried the food there twice. I still want to give the restaurant 3.5 stars. However, I cannot so I rounded it to 4 stars. I tried their sides of sweet potato fries, tater tots, and broccoli. They were average, but the broccoli had too much butter on them. Great service at the bar. Later, I tried their 6 traditional wings. I ordered the kicking teriyaki sauce on half and Cajun dry rub on the other half. I did not notice any dry rub on my chicken so I asked for some. I just did not care for either sauce or rub. Let me start off by saying that Destiny was amazing. I been there multiple times and she was the best out of all visit. Every question I had regarding the menu she could answer and even suggested ways to substitute certain foods to make it better. I ordered the shot gun wings they were just perfect sweet with a little kick. She also recommended that I get the fish and chips which was really good. It was fried perfectly and seasoned well. Went for dinner tonight. 530ish. Would have given 4 stars except the chili was cold when it came out and my mashed potatoes were only lukewarm. Kitchen runner did heat up the chili at our request. Initially order Phil cheesesteak but they "ordered the wrong meat" so couldn't make it. Salad dressings were very good. Salad was fine, not just iceberg lettuce. Rib-eye was tasty and cooked correctly. Boneless wings were also good. Service was good and food came out fast. Tonight a colleague and I stopped in at the Fishers location, and had the absolute best experience. I come here somewhat regularly as I travel here from Louisville often for work, and it's convenient since I typically stay at the Hilton Garden inn across the street. Before now I've never felt compelled to write a review. But this time I had to. We only ordered soft drinks, wings as an appetizer, and then our dinners, and the food was delicious as always...but that's not what compelled me to write this review. The highlight of the night was honestly our experience with our server Katelynn. From talking to her we learned she was new to Bubba's, like first week on the job new. But you couldn't tell it. She was incredibly engaging, and joking with us the entire time, even throwing in a few playful barbs based on what we ordered,..and the whole interaction just made for an extremely enjoyable evening. Even though we had to wait awhile for the food, we didn't even notice because of how refreshing it was to have a server with that much energy and personality. This isn't a knock on other servers or bartenders I've had there, as I've never had a poor experience there. But, if I had a way to plan my work trips around when Katelynn works, I'd do it. Lol. We tried this place a few weeks ago. My husband loved it. I didn't really care for it. The food was decent, and the server was nice. The place is COVERED with TVs, and the music was way too loud. It might be ok for a Friday night, but I would not go for lunch. I had a headache and I was hoping to feel better after eating, but the loud music and dim lighting just made it worse. OK, was looking for a place that had a variety, was large and relaxed. We opted for Bubbas on a Saturday night. It was PACKED. there were 2, maybe more, youth soccer teams there and the seating was limited. We did find seating in the bar area. Our server, Ashlie, was great. The food selection was more than enough. From wings, to salads, to sandwiches there was something for everyone. The food: all of it was good. The service : great. The interior: a little loud. I did have one "hang up", asked for a glass of water at the bar and they said they ran out of "cups" YET they were still serving beers in mugs....HEY, Ill take a Mug of water...! So that was a turn off and that bartender did not look happy. Took us about 1.5 hrs. from start to finish to get through seating, service, dinner and leave. Prices were fair. Ordered a 12oz ribeye, rare. Came out medium well. They took it back to make a new one, leaving all my sides. So now I either sit here and eat the sides while they are still warm or let them get cold waiting for my steak. Decided to try the steamed broccoli while I wait. It's barely steamed, almost as crunchy as when it's raw, and not warm. Finally brought the second steak. It's cooked right but was not a very good cut. The mashed potatoes and gravy I ordered came without gravy and I had to request it again. They are also smart and turned off all but one survey question on the tablet on the table. I love bubbas! I had been to the one on the Southside and I love the huge TVs and all the games they have going, they also play a constant stream of music videos as well. The service is awesome, you a never left waiting long for anything and they are very friendly. I prefer Sunday's because that's when they have their 5 dollar large domestic beer specials and when I say large I mean it, it takes an effort to lift these beers. The food is good! I'd describe it as your standard bar food, they have a large selection of pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers. I had the cheesy fries with queso to start, and that might sound like a weird combination, but the fries have cheese, bacon bits and green onion on them, then the queso is a nice addition! For my main course I had the chicken BLGT and it was delicious, adding guacamole/avocado to a sandwich is an awesome addition! I finished the whole thing. To say "Don't go here for a steak" would be a vast understatement. The proper thing to say would be "No matter what you do, DON'T GET THE RIB-EYE!" In fact, the servers here have a moral obligation to vigorously shake their heads no (and maybe she'd a single tear) when someone even thinks about ordering the ribeye. The ribeye I got was about 1/4 inch thick, and though ordered medium, was well done to the point of having crunchy charcoal on one end. The cut of meat was probably, technically, beef, but I've had better steaks in Marine Corps chow halls and third world countries. Other than that; the beer was cold and the steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes (they don't do baked potatoes here) were good. Pet peeve of mine: shoving the loaded mashed potatoes in a cup. The end result being only the top 4 bites will have any remnant of toppings on them. It was convenient because I was staying at the hotel across the street, but I should have just driven to a better restaurant to get a steak. read more

Service/Atmosphere: Bubba's doesn't allow reservations but they do have call ahead seating which is great for big groups. I don't recall our servers name but I got the impression she wasn't thrilled to have our large group. She wasn't helpful at all. When asking about drinks available at the bar her response was I don't know or I'm not sure. When asking about menu options she had the same dry unhelpful demeanor. Lastly, we had to flag her down multiple times for drink refills which never came. I got my refill when I left Surprisingly the place wasn't too loud considering various sports were playing on tvs throughout and fans were present. Food: Typical bar appetizers but they weren't overly greasy. I felt that the fried pickles were too salty but everyone else thought they were fine. The layered cheese fries didn't stand a chance..cheese and bacon how could you go wrong! If you want the daddy of burgers you should order the Bubba's Bacon Burger* - signature beef and bacon grind patty with Bubba sauce, American cheese, Bubba's smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. I get Cheddar instead of American cheese This time I strayed from what they're known for and went with a grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich wasn't bad but it also wasn't something I'd tell my friends about. Overall Experience: Great place to go to watch sports. The food is good and reasonably priced. Very happy with my entire experience! This place was slammed when we went, and the hostess got us seated within the wait time quotes. Our waiter, Drew, was great so.
