I've been here twice; both times with a group of friends. When comparing the food to similar restaurants it's better than most! Service/Atmosphere: Bubba's doesn't allow reservations but they do have call ahead seating which is great for big groups. I was thankful they sat us before our entire group arrived, doubt that would happen during busier times. The hostesses were very friendly and helpful. I don't recall our servers name but I got the impression she wasn't thrilled to have our large group. She wasn't helpful at all. When asking about drinks available at the bar her response was I don't know or I'm not sure. When asking about menu options she had the same dry unhelpful demeanor. Lastly, we had to flag her down multiple times for drink refills which never came. I got my refill when I left Surprisingly the place wasn't too loud considering various sports were playing on tvs throughout and fans were present. Food: Typical bar appetizers but they weren't overly greasy. I felt that the fried pickles were too salty but everyone else thought they were fine. The layered cheese fries didn't stand a chance..cheese and bacon how could you go wrong! If you want the daddy of burgers you should order the Bubba's Bacon Burger* - signature beef and bacon grind patty with Bubba sauce, American cheese, Bubba's smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. I get Cheddar instead of American cheese This time I strayed from what they're known for and went with a grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich wasn't bad but it also wasn't something I'd tell my friends about. Overall Experience: Great place to go to watch sports. The food is good and reasonably priced. Very happy with my entire experience! This place was slammed when we went, and the hostess got us seated within the wait time quotes. Our waiter, Drew, was great so. You could tell he was very busy and apologetic for taking time to get our drinks and food, which we told him we completely understand. This a a very popular restaurant and bar. I was shocked at how busy it was with people dining in and for carry out. They have done a good job for COVID, so even with it being busy, it felt safe. They have placed plexiglass between the booths on all sides where there is another table/booth. It is your typical bar food which is decent. Lots of TVs, so it's a great place to watch sports. To say "Don't go here for a steak" would be a vast understatement. The proper thing to say would be "No matter what you do, DON'T GET THE RIB-EYE!" In fact, the servers here have a moral obligation to vigorously shake their heads no (and maybe she'd a single tear) when someone even thinks about ordering the ribeye. The ribeye I got was about 1/4 inch thick, and though ordered medium, was well done to the point of having crunchy charcoal on one end. The cut of meat was probably, technically, beef, but I've had better steaks in Marine Corps chow halls and third world countries. Other than that; the beer was cold and the steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes (they don't do baked potatoes here) were good. Pet peeve of mine: shoving the loaded mashed potatoes in a cup. The end result being only the top 4 bites will have any remnant of toppings on them. One of the newer spots close to work, I went with a friend. The atmosphere is very 'busy', somewhat annoying. The server told us about their specials, but when I ordered a light version of one of their beers on specials, I was told that one was NOT on special (weird?!). My friend got pizza, I got a burger. Neither of us got silverware. The service and food were nothing to write home about. I do like the fact that they can open their walls up to get an outside breeze, but we weren't seated there. I live close to this restaurant but was never interested and decided to give it a try. My date and I went on an early Saturday evening and were sat right away. It was nice inside with good music and all the games on tv. We ordered our appetizer of mozzarella sticks. They came fast and they were spiral shaped and were very good. I'd get these again. The major issue was our service. We felt a bit rushed to order. He came 3 times pretty close together asking if we were ready so finally we just quickly decided. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and tots. My date ordered the burger topped with egg and bacon. He specifically asked that the egg be fried hard/well done. The waiter's response was "I can write it but I have no control over cooking it". I thought this was a bit rude - if they can't do it say that. Our food came. The tots and my salad were very good and I really enjoyed the toppings in the salad. As soon as my date bit into the burger it oozed egg yolk so definitely not fried hard. He ate 2 bites of it. At this point I sat with my glass empty until he decided to bring the check so I had to ask for one to go. He asked if my date wanted a box because he didn't eat the burger and it was bad so my date said no. I think most servers would ask if something was wrong but we were ready to go at this point. So, the food was pretty decent aside from the burger but the server made the experience uncomfortable. It definitely felt like we were unwanted. I went here before a concert to grab a quick bite. I got the wings with a Cajun rub & raspberry glaze. They were so tasty!! They had a nice selection of beer on tap too! The place was neat on the inside with flat screen TVs like a sports bar, but then high top tables & stools that make you think of an old school diner. I'd go back for sure! read more

Yum yum yum. Firstly this place has TVs everywhere And is a perfect place to hit up for game day! Two separate areas from the Bar and seating. When it's warm out, they also have outdoor seating and slide up the doors. I had the fiesta dip as an appetizer. It was so good ( I've tried to remake it at home & failed). The hot wings are really hot. I couldn't take the heat and I love spicy foods. I wasn't a fan of the chicken and shrimp pasta but the lasagna is great. $4 margaritas are huge and you honestly only need 1. The prices here are reasonable and the energy is good read more

So this was my first time having food from this place. My family ordered take out and I was very impressed. I will say that I was a little upset at some of the older photos that are in yelp as I was trying to figure out what pizza to order and one of the menu picture said they had a Philly cheesesteak pizza, when I looked up the new menu, they did not serve this pizza. So that was a little disappointing. I will say we ordered the meat lovers, the buffalo chicken, and the Bubba's 33 pizza. I will say I only ate the Bubba's 33 pizza but it was DELICIOUS! I will warn customers though the peppers are in big slices not pieces. I didn't mind but just want people to be aware. The firecracker shrimp is amazing and would highly recommend this. read more

I came here before venturing over to Fry's Electronics. The computer store has become a sincere disappointment, but Bubba's made the trip worth it. There are large screen TVs all over the place with all the current games on. Tasty frozen beverages and good bar type food. It's good and you know it just by seeing how busy it is. They have a call ahead seating and I recommend using it. We sat in the bar which was fine, but if the kids were here it would have taken a while for a table, even on a Sunday afternoon. read more

I stayed at a nearby hotel and gave their takeout service a go. Had wings and they were really good. Well cooked and lightly seasoned. I usually order the sauce on the side. The sauce was very good and they supplied plenty for my order. I got there at the exact time that my order was scheduled to be ready and it was delivered to my car shortly after my arrival. Every time I come here it's been a god experience! Tonight we had Tory. We were a party of 10 that included two small children and a couple of teens. Went here for the Super Bowl. Tons of TVs, probably 75% were tuned into the game and the audio was being played throughout the restaurant. So it was an awesome place to watch. Bubba's is open for indoor dining. First time here. The employees are very nice and friendly. Every employee was happy and fulll of smiles. I ordered the Salmon dinner. It came with choice of 2 sides. French fries, sweet potatoe fries, broccoli, side salad, mashed potatoes, and a couple other choices that I can't remember. I ordered the side salad and sweet potatoe fries. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The side salad was full of diced tomatoes, cheese, sliced onions, and crispy thinly sliced onions on top. We sat at the bar and I believe out bartender was Kyle. Just want to shout him out-- super personable. We sat down and he introduced himself with a handshake and asked our names, then continuously used them through the meal when checking in on us. Awesome! We split the garlic knots, I had the ribeye steak, my BF had the hot & spicy chicken sandwich. He can't stay away from that, I feel like that's all he orders! We don't live in Fishers but know we can always stop in here for a good experience if we are ever up this way again. The bartender seemed nice enough & was well liked by the regulars, I just found it extremely difficult to get his attention for food and drinks With the exception of my arrival & departure, he didn't ask if I needed anything. I actually had to call him out by name one time when waving at him didn't work. It was a busy bar but not THAT busy. But the reason for the 2 stars is because I kept smelling rotting garbage like the behind grocery stores. It was a little windy but it was most strong when the wind stopped. My daughter and I had lunch at Bubba's (Hall Road) yesterday. Our server was exceptional! The Garlic Knots were very tasty and hot. I usually steer clear of ordering chicken breasts of any sort because more often than not, the edges are hard and the meat is extremely dry. The Southern Fried Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes sounded so good, so I ordered it. The chicken was so tender and flavorful!! I'd get it again in a heartbeat. I did get a side of Macaroni and Cheese, which was absolutely terrible. There was so little cheese on it; all of the noodles were not covered with cheese. I would have been embarrassed to call it macaroni and cheese, let alone serve it to anyone. read more

Very good wings. I had the two hottest flavors for my wings. They were not hot enough. Bdubs and Wings Etc have much hotter top heat levels than Bubba's. However, they were very tasty. My life got the smoked chipotle. You could really taste the smoked flavor. The onion rings are awesome. The beer selection is very good. We will return on a trip to Indy sometime. read more

Kale Quinoa Salad! 5 stars! I took a pic of the menu so I could duplicate this at home! They did not skimp on anything, especially the pecans! The half order of onion rings was worth busting the diet too! And wash it down with the Sangria Margarita... a little sweet dessert too! A nice tip for the month of June- they donate $1 for every Patriot Burger sold to Homes for Our Troops, a top rated military charity. Found out same ownership as Texas Road House which we love and never disappointed! Bubbas we knew nothing about so we gave it a whirl while visiting Indy at Fishers location What a pleasant surprise! Started off with half order of onion rings my wife and I which were lightly breaded not greasy and had a unique flavor Best onion rings we ever had Had two dinner salads that were very good very similar to Texas Roadhouse with eggs real bacon bits tomatoes but topped with like those fried onion straws lightly The salads were twice as big as ones at TRH delicious I had salmon my wife had fishn chips Both were very good and tasty also large portions Glad we skipped lunch and ate a late dinner or we couldn't possibly had the dessert we shared I forgot name but was in an Oreo round bowl shape with high quality vanilla ice cream homemade Carmel topped with toasted pecans it was amazing We ate way too much but was worth every bite Can't wait to find another Bubba 33 on our travels I very seldom give five stars or do reviews but I wanted to spread the word on this great restaurant read more

Every once in a while I get hungry for good American bar food and Bubba's didn't disappoint. I had the mushroom burger. The burger patty was seared on the outside correctly. The mushrooms were tasty. A little too much garlic mayo but it was decent. Coated fries on the side. My son had the shrimp po'boy. It was a deep fried shrimp and lettuce (no tomatoes by request) on soft hoagie roll. The only issue is that Bubba's puts a sweet sauce on the fried shrimp. It should come on the side so customers can decide how much that want. Onion rings on the side were good. My family and I came here today after church. The food was just okay. The menu is inexpensive (under $25). I was unimpressed by the menu (wings, pizza, burgers) so I just played it safe and got chicken fingers and fries. Both were just okay. They weren't busy at all. We were able to walk right in and get seated. Although our party was fairly large 6 adults and 2 children, we waited a very long time for our food. Overall my experience was just okay.
