Went in for my favorite meal. Hadn't been to Bubbas in 4 or 5 months but was craving their breaded tenderloin. It was very lightly seasoned, and a lot of the breading was falling off. Better part of the tenderloin had a lot of gristle. The tator tots were good and cooked perfectly. I took what was left of the sandwich home and tried to eat some of it for lunch the following day and still couldn't eat it. Just way too much gristle. I had to end up throwing it away. They are known for burgers, pizza and cold beer. The beer is served @ 33 degrees, which I think has to do with the name. They are part of the Texas Roadhouse chain with about 27 locations?! I would have never known if I wasn't scoping out the menu beforehand. Basic sports bar with TVs everywhere. I liked that one of the TVs was showing the music videos. It was a bit loud for my taste.. but the food was good, the service was great, I liked the open garage door concept in the bar. I would def get the lemon basil salad dressing again. The pizza crust was soft and chewy. But overall good basic sports bar. Good place to meet others with wide arrangement of food and good service. Brought the entire pack of family to Bubba's for an early dinner. They open at 4pm on weekdays, so if you go between 4:30- 5:30pm you'll get the quickly seated and taken care of. I can speak for the black bean burger being fantastic, which was not made from a frozen patty. It's clear that whatever process they have, they source from ingredients that are focused more on quality rather than maintaining shape with fillers. It did kind of fall apart, but I take that to be a sign of natural ingredients. It was also surprisingly thick, much like their other burgers that are all 1/2 point of meat! We will keep returning with the kids, as this is a good alternative to pizza places or exclusive burger joints since there is a bit of everything for your party to choose from! The burgers are huge. We ordered a couple of them to go and they did not disappoint. The black and bleu burger is prepared with Cajun seasoning has an amazing cheese sauce. You need lots of napkins and be prepared for lots of finger licking. The bacon guacamole burger came with pepper Jack cheese and had a good southwest kick. The decor is a cute retro vibe, the music is loud, and there are sonething like 60 TVs. For real. They have pizza, wings, burgers, etc. The menu is pretty extensive. This place was across the street from my hotel so very convenient. It also appears to be quite popular with the locals as it was always packed when I was there. I sat in the bar area and Samantha took great care of us, she is a sweetie. It is bar food but they do have a decent rib eye. My cohort ordered a dozen wings and they gave him sixteen friggin wings! Nobody does that! Either they could not count or that's how they roll at Bubba's, either way, wow! Some good beers to choose from and if you want to work the domestic specials, they have you covered. I want to start off saying this was going to be a 4 star until the manager completely blew my mind with excellent customer service. I did not have high expectations for Bubba's but honestly was very pleasantly surprised by the food! The reason I was going to give this a 4 star was because the pizza (our kids meal) came out 15-20 mins before ours. They were completely done eating before we even got our food (a chicken salad and a burger). We watched as all the tables around us that were sat after us got their food. A manager happened to walk up to our table and said "how is everything today". I said so far the food is good but we've been waiting 20 mins for our food since the pizza got dropped off. She was very apologetic and so was the waitress. Honestly if the manager wouldn't have asked we probably wouldn't have said anything but they made it right by comping a dessert and giving us two coupons for next time. Again, we weren't even going to say anything but they made sure we didn't leave with question about the quality of customer service. Way to go Bubba's! read more

This is a great, family style place that is perfect to view your favorite sporting events! My party was lucky to be seated in the bar area where they have plenty of TV's for your viewing pleasure. We simply came to Bubba's to watch a few of the Big 10 games, so we decided to stick with appetizers to snack on. The chicken nachos were good, but left a little to be desired. On the other hand, the mozzarella sticks were fantastic! I loved how they were a bit curly and that the breading on them wasn't as thick as other breadsticks. For my drink, I ordered one of their specialty margaritas that comes in a huge, goblet size glass. Though the margarita was good, it wasn't anything to fawn over.
