Hot out of the gate and I was there front and center for opening day. Apparently, there are multiple locations but this is the first I heard of them. I was originally torn. Do I go with a burrito or tacos? Do I try their wings or variety of fries? Well, being that it's called Bubbakoos Burritos, I went with the burrito. First you pick whether you want a burrito, burrito bowl, tacos, nachos, quesadilla or a Chiwawa (I have no idea what that is). Then you pick your protein. I went with the crispy Buffalo Chicken and my buddy went with the General Tso's. Next you add all your accouterments. I went with queso, white rice, black beans, pico de gallo, onions, cilantro, shredded cheese. My buddy got guac. I didn't know they had guac!! Ok. Pulling this out of the bag, I was thrown back. This baby is heavy. I'm talking a solid two pounds. I don't think quite three pounds but it's somewhere in between. I had to cut it for the cross section picture and feared it was going to all fall apart; which it didn't. The chicken was nice and crispy and the Buffalo sauce had the perfect bite. This burrito was packed with flavor. I know cilantro is not for everyone. That being said, I love it and it added the perfect accent to this burrito. For a lunch item, I was absolutely stuffed afterwards. The price is a buck or two higher than I would think it should be but in this particular case, I absolutely do not mind paying a little extra for the premium quality that you are getting. Plus, I do realize that are in prime real-estate in the Midland Park shopping center and that in itself can't be cheap. The staff was phenomenal. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable of all their products. Everyone was so friendly and the way they work the process from ordering to when you walk out is quite efficient. Lastly, parking is plentiful being that it is in a large sized shopping center. I look forward to going back to give the tacos a shot and of course the wings are on my radar. read more

I ordered take out so I am not quite sure how it would be in person, but it was fresh when it arrived to my door. I ordered the Buffalo cauliflower and a burrito bowl with ground beef. The Buffalo cauliflower has plenty of flavor but a little too much breading for me. The burrito bowl was good, with lots of toppings. I did get a side of guacamole, it was a good consistency but the flavor was a bit off. Maybe too much citrus? I think I would try this again, maybe just skip the cauliflower and guac. read more

Excited to have a new option in town. We tried Bubbakoo's on the opening and twice after. All three experiences were the same. Food is not so great. It's not even close to good, quality burritos. Everything is mushy and a mess to eat. You do get a lot of rice and product but it's not anything to wow about. I've had this place 6 times now, so I think I can write an informed review. The food: Pretty good. *most* of the time it tastes very fresh and I'd much prefer this to the quality of a chipotle. Their desserts are actually really damn good as well oddly enough. The service: needs improvement which is the main reason for the 3 stars. I kid you not, of the 6 times I've ordered from here, ALL 6 times they forgot to include the side of sauce I paid for in my order. In fact... the last time I ordered I drove back because of it, and when I got home I realized they forgot my girlfriends side sauce as well! It's incredibly inconvenient to have to sift through a large order just to make sure they didn't forget your sauce. Never leave here without checking that. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. The food is done quickly, the app is easy to use. But bottom line, do not leave without checking to make sure your entire order is correct, you'll regret it if you don't. read more

Welp, I gave a glowing review after the first visit. I have been back 2x since and sadly, am about to get this place out of the rotation. First - ordered 2 burritos and some other items and ran across street to CVS quickly before coming back to pick up order. Got home excited to throw down my double steak burrito but....there were no burritos rather bowls. I don't like bowls. Strike 1. I went again this week. I tried to call in the order but was told to do it online, which I then did. What a disaster. The burritos were missing items requested, no jalepenos, no guac, had rice when asked for none, the wings were clearly directed to have sauce on the side which was ignored. Again - I wasn't going to go back - we pitched the wings and ate burritos we didn't order. Strike 2. I really want to like this place but I may as well get back together with Tito's. a 33% hit rate on getting the order right is not OK. The time they did get it right, I was there watching them make the burritos and could provide guidance. I may give it one more try - I really wanted this to be a firm once a week spot but when they can't get the order straight - I have to consider a break up and ask Tito to take me back. read more

I was eager to try this place for a while and finally did tonight. This had to be one of the worst meals I've had. I got a steak burrito bowl and it had absolutely no flavor. Nothing could have made this bowl taste any better. Not to mention I ordered chips and salsa on the side, and they forget to give me the chips. Seems like a nice selection of tasty Mexican food. You can have anything you like on the burritos, tacos,etc. The burritos are huge; it is possible to have two meals out of one. This place needs a little work to be up to Chipotle standards. The staff is very friendly but seems young and new, so the service was slow, waited about 15 mins before I even get to order. I got the Tacos and a chicken sandwich, Tacos was made on the spot but had to wait another 10 mins for the chicken sandwich. The ground beef on the tacos was a bit salty and dry, barely came with any chips (3 to be exact). The chicken sandwich was just okay, wendy's or popeye's chicken sandwiches are better. The fries that came with the sandwich was ok and small portioned. In the end paying $20 for all of that and still feel unsatisfied is just not worth it. The burritos and bowls looked like the better options, maybe I will give that a try next time. read more

Logged into my account and it wouldn't pop up. the women at this location wouldn't honor the emailed promo even though their system was the issue. I tried to explain it, but the lady still said she wouldn't do it. Just go to a place that actually values customers enough to honor promotions when their system is faulty. this is the fourth time I came in.
