I can't believe I've waited so long to write a review for 3 Chicas! I've been coming here since 2020, the great appeal being that there are plenty of gluten-free options. They currently have only minimal outdoor seating available, so takeout is the best option. I always opt for their delicious gluten-free cheese quesadilla, while my partner goes for their chicken burrito. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and hits the spot when you need some delicious comfort food. They also offer some desserts like chocolate mousse--it is a bit small, but still excellent. The prices are fair for the quantity of food you receive, as we both usually have leftovers from our meal.

    Nachos Grande

I had the Nachos Grande. Delicious! I recommend the guac, sour cream and salsa be packed individually. I understand the cost of the containers but all on top made too many of the chips mushy.

Food is really good, however when you are told to come at a certain time and get there at that time, you expect your food to be hot. It was room temperature. I had to heat my $17 burrito.

Keep in mind, all restaurants are worth trying regardless of what these reviews say & everyone has different experiences! Here's my review based on the order of my visit. Accessibility: 5/5 It is located at Wyckoff Shopping Center, so there's plenty of parking. I came here during the lunch rush so parking was a little tight for me. Venue Space & Ambiance: 3/5 The space is big enough to seat about 50 people in total. It's roomy enough to fit a stroller. There are also about 10 or so bar seats around the counter. The tables can be adjusted to accommodate bigger parties if necessary. The place felt a little dull - lighting & decor. Food: 3/5 I ordered the Nacho Grande. They gave me plenty of chips (good for 2 people to share) but I only got a dollop of sour cream and guacamole - my favorite toppings Could I have asked for more (?) absolutely, but I wanted to see how far the toppings got me. I walked in with an anti-beans (black & pinto) approach so I asked for the pinto beans on the side. Since I lacked in sc & guac, I compromised and I added the beans to the mix. This made the nachos so much better for me! In the end, with moderation, the toppings got me 1/3 of the way into the whole plate. By this time, I was full. I learned that I actually don't mind pinto beans! Price: 4/5 Overall, the prices are pretty standard. I paid $12.74 for the nachos and fountain soda, not including tip/gratuity. Staff: 4/5 They were organized and on top of their game. I got my food in 5-10 minutes. This was very important since I was on my lunch break. After throwing out my trash, one of the female staff saw me sitting at the table and she asked if I was waiting on anything, so for that, I'll bump my Staff rating up to 4 stars. Advice for the business: Add empanadas to the menu! Staff could have easily upsold me on 5 of them today

The guacamole has way to much onion and the food is way over priced for what it was. Won't be going back.

Can't believe this place exists next to quality local businesses!! I'm sure the only reason they stay in business, is the bar area. I'm certain it's local popular drinking spot, that after a few drinks, people don't realize the crap they're feeding them! So crappy. Would never go back. Was so bad, and expensive that I have to write a review. 16$ for two tiny empty tacos. Mostly tortilla. No ingredients. This place is such crap. I regret ever going. I assumed because of the class of the neighborhood, food had to be quality!!! I was wrong!!!

They serve mocktail margaritas for $10 and we went to the liquor store next door for tequila and then poured it into the drinks ourselves. They even give you shot glasses to pour it into. The mocktail is pretty sour though and not very flavorful, mine was strawberry basil but didn't really taste like strawberry or basil. Small seating area, backs of chairs kept bumping into each other and it's hard to walk to your seat when the place is busy. Also the tables are uneven. One table was slanting to the side a lot. The guacamole and the calamari apps were great. Big portions and delicious. Guac was very fresh and well seasoned, the calamari I loved how big the pieces were, super tender and had a spicy sauce with it that had sautéed almonds which added a nice crunch. And lots of shishito peppers on top. The entrees were average. They got the temperature wrong for my hanger steak. It was still tender and juicy but I didn't like the green sauce on it. Which was spicy and vinegary. The potatoes added nothing to the dish in terms of flavor or texture, I barely ate them. The tomato and avocado salad was good, light and tasty. They served it with corn tortillas but the tortillas are very gooey and bland. My husband liked his scallop tacos a lot. I tried one of his mushroom tacos and didn't like it. Again lots of vinegar, and also it wasn't all mushrooms it had peppers and leeks in it. The desserts were pricey at $12 and pretty average. Nothing special. The churros were dry. I give this place a 4 because I loved their apps and it has a nice vibe despite being cramped. And wait service was professional and friendly.

The restaurant is very pretty overall, though the interior is quite dim, making it difficult to read the menu without additional light. The tables were also placed fairly close together. Our server was polite and welcoming throughout the evening. We started with the Korean fried chicken and tuna tataki. The chicken was moist and coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. The tuna tataki was flavorful; however, the taro chips were very thin and tended to break easily when holding the tuna. For our main courses, we ordered the Icelandic cod, rigatoni, Freebird chicken, and a side of whipped potatoes. Dessert was the hazelnut chocolate crunch, which was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the food was enjoyable. That said, the pricing felt more in line with a fine dining experience, while the atmosphere and service were closer to an upscale casual restaurant. Some small details, such as the whipped potatoes being served without a serving spoon, stood out. While minor, these details can make a difference, especially at this price point.

Do I go with a burrito or tacos? Do I try their wings or variety of fries? Well, being that it's called Bubbakoos Burritos, I went with the burrito. First you pick whether you want a burrito, burrito bowl, tacos, nachos, quesadilla or a Chiwawa (I have no idea what that is). Then you pick your protein. I went with the crispy Buffalo Chicken and my buddy went with the General Tso's. Next you add all your accouterments. I went with queso, white rice, black beans, pico de gallo, onions, cilantro, shredded cheese. My buddy got guac. I didn't know they had guac!! Ok. Pulling this out of the bag, I was thrown back. This baby is heavy. I'm talking a solid two pounds. I don't think quite three pounds but it's somewhere in between. I had to cut it for the cross section picture and feared it was going to all fall apart; which it didn't. The chicken was nice and crispy and the Buffalo sauce had the perfect bite. This burrito was packed with flavor. I know cilantro is not for everyone. That being said, I love it and it added the perfect accent to this burrito. For a lunch item, I was absolutely stuffed afterwards. The price is a buck or two higher than I would think it should be but in this particular case, I absolutely do not mind paying a little extra for the premium quality that you are getting. Plus, I do realize that are in prime real-estate in the Midland Park shopping center and that in itself can't be cheap. The staff was phenomenal. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable of all their products. Everyone was so friendly and the way they work the process from ordering to when you walk out is quite efficient. Lastly, parking is plentiful being that it is in a large sized shopping center. I look forward to going back to give the tacos a shot and of course the wings are on my radar.

The portions were huge, with a generous amount of tender beef and perfectly cooked peppers that were juicy and full of flavor. The order also included two large trays each of rice and beans, along with full containers of sour cream, salsa, and plenty of tortillas. The pictures that I took were already half eaten so the original amount of food was even more plentiful!
