Just came home from having dinner here for the first time. It's a cute little place definitely more of a takeout spot but more than enough tables to dine in. The food was fantastic! I never order fajitas but decided to tonight. The chicken was cooked perfectly and both the chicken and vegetables were seasoned to perfection. My husband had enchiladas and said they were delicious. I gave this place a try on a whim because I work right up the street and I was pleasantly surprised it was actually very good! The portions were pretty good for the price that it is. I mean it is a little bit much but it's par to that area. The service was very good. My order was correct and the food was very flavorful. The chips that come with the food were very salty, which I absolutely love. I'm not a big one to normally like salt so when I crave it, I need to have it and their chips did the trick. read more

Just picked up lunch today for the first time. I got a chicken burrito and salsa and chips. The food is delicious, the chips are perfectly salted and the pico de gallo is super fresh! I also have gotten the chicken&shrimp fajitas with corn tortillas and the pork nachos. None of their dishes have enough spices, they're pretty simple but everything still tastes good!! I just wish there was more flavor. Last night I got the chicken and shrimp fajitas and there weren't enough spices. They raised the price so now it's $17 so I wouldn't be getting that again. I don't feel the taste is worth the price. However I will still order the gluten free quesadillas and the nachos! Service, while nice, can be slow, I waited almost 45 minutes for a simple fajita. Ambiance is OK, your simple small Mexican restaurant. I've had more flavorful Mexican food elsewhere. But this is close to where I live and I will get to-go food here in the future. I can't believe I've waited so long to write a review for 3 Chicas! I've been coming here since 2020, the great appeal being that there are plenty of gluten-free options. They currently have only minimal outdoor seating available, so takeout is the best option. I always opt for their delicious gluten-free cheese quesadilla, while my partner goes for their chicken burrito. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and hits the spot when you need some delicious comfort food. They also offer some desserts like chocolate mousse--it is a bit small, but still excellent. The prices are fair for the quantity of food you receive, as we both usually have leftovers from our meal. read more

Pork carnitas tacos with the corn tortillas were tasty. But pretty disappointed with the chicken nachos and especially the carne asada steak burrito. Nachos had barely any guac, salsa, or sour cream and the chicken was dry and bland. Burrito was 90% rice and sooo dry. It also wasn't even steak it was some ground beef that tasted like one of those cardboard school lunches. What happened to this place? I've been going there weekly on and off since they opened. Twice now I've had bad experiences- guacamole was basically chopped onions with a little puréed avocado. Same with pico de gallo- ration onion to tomato was 70/30. Nachos were terrible- unmelted cheese, not enough of it and loaded with runny sour cream. So visually unappealing. Nearly brought it back but we ate four chips and tossed it. What a shame. read more

You can get 1, 2, or even 3 mini burritos with different fillings so you can try a few! It used to be very good, but things have changed recently. There's always a problem with the take out order. The wrong entree, missing sides, being charged the incorrect price. The manager or owner is obviously stressed and is short tempered and curt when addressing the patrons. It's sad that this once "go to" Mexican restaurant is not "Don't go to". I'm not going back. Accessibility: 5/5 It is located at Wyckoff Shopping Center, so there's plenty of parking. I came here during the lunch rush so parking was a little tight for me. Venue Space & Ambiance: 3/5 The space is big enough to seat about 50 people in total. It's roomy enough to fit a stroller. There are also about 10 or so bar seats around the counter. The tables can be adjusted to accommodate bigger parties if necessary. The place felt a little dull - lighting & decor. Food: 3/5 I ordered the Nacho Grande. They gave me plenty of chips (good for 2 people to share) but I only got a dollop of sour cream and guacamole - my favorite toppings Could I have asked for more (?) absolutely, but I wanted to see how far the toppings got me. I walked in with an anti-beans (black & pinto) approach so I asked for the pinto beans on the side. Since I lacked in sc & guac, I compromised and I added the beans to the mix. This made the nachos so much better for me! In the end, with moderation, the toppings got me 1/3 of the way into the whole plate. By this time, I was full. I learned that I actually don't mind pinto beans! Price: 4/5 Overall, the prices are pretty standard. I paid $12.74 for the nachos and fountain soda, not including tip/gratuity. Staff: 4/5 They were organized and on top of their game. I got my food in 5-10 minutes. This was very important since I was on my lunch break. Rice and beans so under seasoned nothing at all. Tasted almost boiled. Mini burrito - didn't even bother trying since the rice and beans side dish were so blah. Cheese quesadillas with a side of rice and beans - again the cheese was not soft and hot like it should be. The place was empty and they did have a ton of staff behind the counter on there cell phones of course. No reason why the food couldn't be hot. This place was recommended by a Wyckoff neighbor so we figured we would try it. Wouldn't go back it's just not worth it. It reminded me of a Mexican place in the city we used to eat at between meetings. A grab and go place where quality and taste really don't matter. Some good and some bad It really depends on what you get here, some of the menu items are not very good while others are delicious. Had to eat my way through the menu a bit to discover what they do best. My favorite here are the Fish Tacos. Fresh flaky cod cooked on the flat top seasoned nicely and served nice and hot. On the other hand the Shrimp Tacos were awful, the shrimp was so bland and tasted like it came out one of those supermarket shrimp rings. The proprietors of this place are a bit on the cranky side, but not overtly rude or anything. The counter people are generally nice the seating is not great but I just woof down my tacos and hit the road. Good for a quick bite. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Every time I bring a friend here, they love it also. The guacamole here is amazing. Beyond amazing. I could lick that stuff up all day. Filled with cilantro and onions. The food tastes like something a Mexican grandmother would whip up for you! The flan is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Sometimes they sell out at night so make sure you get there early enough. Simply awful food. We ordered a steak burrito and a chicken quesadilla, also a side of guacamole. This was quite honestly the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The steak quesadilla was nothing but rice and beans inside and very little steak. Why bother stuffing the entire thing with rice and beans when you get rice and beans on the side. The chicken quesadilla was basically a cheese quesadilla with three pieces of chicken. The rice was dry and absolutely tasteless, it was old and look like somebody swept it up off the floor and put it in the dish. The guacamole was 60% onions. I'm trying to find something good to say about this place and I can find nothing. Do not bother going here it is a total waste of time and you will regret it like we did. We had an awful dinner. Chicken is from their grilled chicken that doesn't get sold (just a guess) super dry no flavoring/seasoning marinade left or life left in it seemed like it was even pre-refrigerated adn reheated for fillings (cubed). Overall quality of the ingredients is not the same anymore. Unsophisticated and pricey for American mex. Chorizo tasted super strange, chemically not like before and very acidic. I stopped in to get a quick bite before a church meeting. It was Thursday. Black bean burrito on special. I was asked if I wanted to add some fajita veggies to it. It was a yes of course. Nasty. To be blunt, i have never been to prison, but i think if i did, this is where the food would come from. The rice and beans were pure SLOP. Nice comfort seating and staff all friendly and seemed to be working very efficiently during lunch rush. Standard Mex fare - all the usual suspects. But done cleanly amply. In these difficult times of the virus my wife and I needed break from cooking 3 meals a day for now about 3 weeks. We ordered take out from 3 Chicas in Wyckoff and enjoyed It enormously. I called the order in and picked it up 15 minutes later. The owner of the restaurant came out and placed bags in my trunk that I had popped and closed myself. I went home took some precautions.
