Okay, so Wendy's in Midland Park... Oh how i have a love/hate relationship with you. Your food is delicious and served hot. Yet your drive in lane is possibly the most infuriating experience that one can have. How is it possible that no matter what time of day one arrives, the drive in line is not only long, but comes with the wait time that is only experienced elsewhere at the DMV? Is it that you are that popular? NAY! I see that your food delivery logistics are lacking, or in plain english, your slow. I do enjoy the drive in hack this location has implemented, by not taking the next order until the car in front has received their food and is on their way... Genius way of getting around that pesky timer that would expose your slothful ways! When compared to the location in Wayne, this location makes your drive in experience akin to that of the wait you experience on a Saturday at a walk in medical clinic. Is it worth it? Do you have masochistic tendencies? Then yes. Enjoy the pain that is Wendy's.4 very exhausted thumbs up

I pulled into the parking lot this morning saving the lot was completely empty. Did I misread the article??? Maybe it didn't make its way to Midland Park.... let me just check. I pull up to the menu board and YES, the voice comes on, "Welcome to Wendy's, can I take your order". What?????? Wendys has thrown its hat in the breakfast ring!!! I got the baconator breakfast sandwich and breakfast fries. Let me tell you. As skeptical as I was, I was equally surprised. It was VERY good!!!!! Now good for fast food, but still very good!! Tasted very fresh. Sausage was actually very tasty. The breakfast fries were seasoned just right. Nice and crispy on the outside, potatoes in the middle. Now I get it..... it's new... of course it's going to be perfect. Let's see..... right now I'm saying it's completely on point.

I used to like this Wendy's but lately is been giving bad service, the waiting times sometimes are over 10 minutes for a meal. The guy at the drive thru had a bad attitude, what the heck, if you are having a bad day don't take your shit on costumers. Other then that food is always fresh and tasty.

Who knew? I emailed him and Jae Wong responded explaining that they still sell their dipping oil but it is sold as "spicy sauce" on the menus. Fast forward he has 3 locations in NJ and 1 was downtown Hawthorne, just 1.5 miles from me!! I just feasted on his recipes including the dipping oil!! Cant rave enough!! The time I spent researching online was worth every minute!! Biggest fan, Katie

Beef was tangy spicy (but not too spicy) and crispy and it came out hot and fast. Appreciate the fact that the beef was not chewy or tough They also add these crispy onions on top of their bowls which is a nice touch. My boyfriend got the Cajun pork cutlet bowl over lo mein. You get to choose your base for the bowls which is nice. The lo mein noodles are thicker than the typical lo mein noodles you see at Chinese takeout, these look more like pho. Either way, I tried a bite and they were great and the flavors were there. My boyfriend also loves their soup and the homemade chips are awesome. In terms of ambiance this is more of a daytime spot. Not too many seats. It's very bright inside maybe because there's a lot of plants in there on the wall. It's still nice, just not that dim nighttime ambiance and there aren't a ton of seats . You place your order at the register or they also have a convenient self order kiosk. We will be definitely be back to try everything else on the menu.

It was delicious! The pulled chicken was flavorful, and the pickled onions and cucumbers added a perfect crunch and zest that complemented the brown rice and kale beautifully. I chose to order directly from the staff instead of using the kiosks since it was my first visit, and I'm glad I did! They were incredibly friendly and helpful, even wiping down the outdoor tables for me. The prices are pretty standard for a fast-casual spot.

Their tag line of "Eat Juicy Chicken" compelled us in. Unfortunately, our first time was a bit of a flop. First, the positives. Placing your order is a cinch, either with one of many kiosks or with the folks at the counter. We opted for the latter since it was our first visit and we were paying with cash. Service at the counter was warm and friendly. While waiting for our meal, we also took notice of the wide array of pumps by the drink dispenser. They're all free sauces you can get to dress up your meal. But that was precisely where things kind of went meh. My husband's boneless breast meal was heavily sauced and rendered the whole thing a little too salty. My chicken Caesar salad was just fine, but I craved more texture (some croutons would've killed). I keep comparing our ho-hum experience to others who've raved about their meals here, and I think our mistake was two-fold: 1) We didn't order a chicken sandwich. I should've known better - when most of the signature items on a menu gravitate toward one type of item, it's a restaurant's way of hinting at their strengths. Opting to order a salad and a grilled chicken at a fried chicken place was a bad start. Learn from my mistakes. 2) We paired a saucy chicken with saucy sides. All three items in my husband's order - the meat, the Brussel sprouts, and the potatoes - were generously drizzled with a sauce. It's no wonder our taste buds breathed a sigh of relief whenever we had a bite of undressed crinkle cut fries; we were assaulting our mouths with salt and flavor. If you're a saucy person, have at it ; otherwise, I'd recommend creating a more balanced plate and ordering a few things without sauce so you can appreciate the cooking. Because in my heart of hearts, I believe items are well-prepared here; they're just doused in too much covering to be appreciated.

It's a small space with just a few tables. Since we didn't live in the area we opted to sit and eat. While we waited several people came into get takeout or pickup. There was just the chef and the server. Both were nice and helpful. We ordered the Korean BBQ Ribs and the Southern Ribs. Hubby liked the Korean and I preferred the Southern. But both were good, I just found the Southern saucier and more tender. The NYC XXX Bacon was amazing!!! Love love love so juicy and tender with a touch of spicy. Korean Slaw was another fav that we ordered an extra to take home. Collard Greens were not bad, a little spicy. Cornbread was way too dry... hubby was fine with it. We enjoyed our meal very much. They are trying to figure out a new donut supplier, so it'll be off for a while. However, the owner was heading out for an errand, and offered to buy doughnuts ad-hoc if I still wanted the chonut and I took him up on it! What service. Chonut: he got a Paris Baguette maple donut, which was a good level of sweetness. It wasn't warmed up at all and the bottom donut got really soggy, so I wonder how it would compare to their normal donut. I loved the combination of sweetness and savory - I'd get this again to see what a full potential donut sandwich could look like. Cholander Fries: we ordered this while waiting, and a solid appetizer with lots of flavors. We got the BBQ Sampler box, and they allowed us to replace the 2 ribs with pork belly instead. The pork belly was the standout - it's both very crispy and fatty. They also gave us a gochujang glaze sauce because they said it paired well with the pork belly, and it did! The brisket was good too and certainly benefited from the sauces available, as well as the pork shoulder. I thought the Mac and cheese was standard but the kimchi slaw wasn't refreshing although interesting.
