The fried apple pie has a great crispy crust with delicious hot apple filling that, surprisingly, isn't cloyingly sweet. This is a 5 star dessert for a 5 star country. So go out and celebrate just like our forefathers did 250 years ago by visiting your local McD's and ordering a fried apple pie and a Coke Zero or two to wash it down.
