Today was my first time checking out the bubbas 33 near my house I been hearing a big hype about. Where to even begin not the greatest experience let me tell you that . First off me and my girlfriend tried ordering margaritas off the drink menu and from the start the server says "by the way we make everything in house food and drinks "so we order 2 frozen margaritas. About 15 minutes later she comes she comes back and says by the way our frozen machine is broken and in my head I am think this is a new place that just opened and ur machine already broken for a second i thought I was At "McDonalds "when they tell u there ice cream machine broken lol. I am just like never mind don't worry about the drinks she likes is there anything else I can get for ya so we order the crooked cheese sticks I believe from the appetizers I keep an open mind we wait about another 15 min or so. Manager comes by to apologize about them not being able to make the frozen drinks ask is everything Is ok and I tell her yeah it's fine just waiting on our appetizers and she leaves . Serves comes back and then informs us by the way we can't make ur appetizers after saying they everything is made in house and I am just kinda over this place by now like u just made me wait to inform me u don't have appetizers or the drinks when she could have honestly started off by letting us know what they weren't serving from the start to not waste our times waiting around for items they dint have. At this point we are just hungry so I am kinda like whatever at this point we order pizza and a burger which it was all pretty mediocre. I did notice a table that sat right after us same server they order same appetizers we order and for some reason they got there appetizer after she clearly told us they dint have any I was just like wow I am over this place first u tell me they don't have it but clearly the table that sat right after us was able to order same thing. Most likely will not be coming back to this place after this experience and all I got was a free coupon for an appetizer definitely will not be back just for them to say they don't have that item. I don't know if they just dint wanna serve us or what the reasoning was behind the service but it definitely left me with a foul taste in my mouth about returning I get it ur new could have been different if there would have been better communication or resolving the issues after the second mess up. My family and I were here 12/1/24 and was totally disappointed. I ordered chicken tenders dinner. I asked for my tenders to be cooked well done and they were not. It was taken back to recook. By the time my order was brought out my family had finished eating. I would have like to have had dinner with my husband and daughter. I spoke with both managers and there was NO regard shown to the fact that my meal was wrong and I was not able to have my dinner with the family. Your waitress need to understand the importance placing the order correctly. read more

It was okay, we got seated right away enough tho it was packed. Food was okay, We got a chicken fried chicken and it was kinda salty, and a pizza which was okay. The drinks were also okay. the manager came to our table and gave us a voucher. We might visit again. read more

Words cannot describe how horrible this establishment was/is! The service was laughably horrible! The food was the worst food I have ever had! I would rather eat a road-killed skunk than eat at bubba's 33! The ambiance was loud and obnoxious! The waitress forgot my drink and I had to ask for it again twice! We stopped in for a late lunch on the weekend. The place seemed pretty clean and they had a lot of staff there. We usually sit at the bar anywhere we go so that's where we went. It's separate to some degree from the main dining room. The bartenders were very friendly and helped us with questions about the menu. We ordered an appetizer platter with wings, fried cheese and fried pickles. I can't say I found anything in that mix to be something I enjoyed or would order again. Wife wanted to try a pepperoni pizza and while it was okay, the garlic butter brushed onto the crust was so overwhelming. The table next to us all ordered burgers and I might go back again to try a burger, but most likely only if I'm in the area. I watched the interactions of the different waitresses with different customers and I really appreciated that the staff smiled a lot and showed politeness and professionalism. That's huge these days. This is a nice, new restaurant. The service was excellent. They have a lot of staff. The ambiance is typical "fun restaurant " style. Plenty of TV's and sports memorabilia on the walls. I enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was good but was a little dry. Kind of strange because it was also greasy. I'm thinking the grease is from all the bacon. It comes with Buba's sauce but I really couldn't taste it. It could have used some mayo and ketchup. The fries were hot, salty and delicious. read more

Has one of the best pastas I've ever tasted. Order the Creamy Chipotle Pasta and you will not regret it!! Love the ambience of this establishment, definitely will come back again and definitely recommend :) read more

I allowed the restaurant to be open for several weeks before stopping in. I had high hopes for Bubbas. The music was way too loud and it featured songs with questionable lyrics for a "family" type place. What knucklehead made that decision? Our server couldn't answer a few questions about food and drink items. She was nice but not very helpful and spoke too fast to understand over the music. Then she brought me the wrong brand of beer and tried to push it off on the bar. She did get it corrected. The kitchen was the star on our visit. We ordered barbeque pizza and chicken fried chicken. Both were top notch. We won't be back again to this disaster of a restaurant. Maybe for a carry out order, but it is a bit far from our home. Food great. Service so-so. Ambiance terrible. read more

Food was good, the season fries rock. The customer service is great. Only issue is you have to yell because they have the music turned up to loud. Ignacio Navarrete one of the Managers fixed some upfront confusion. Over all we will be coming back. read more

We ordered garlic knots and they made them very small and said they would make a new order. That order never came even after one one of the managers said it is coming. We got tired of waiting and left after waiting about 25 minutes. Seems like they didn't even know what was going on. Worst service tonight. Even had a hard time getting a margarita. read more

Tried Bubba's for the first time. Service was good, food was good. We had hamburgers, pizza & chips & queso. Ordered two mojitos... had to send back no alcohol & no mint. Tried a second time this worst. Will order food but no mojitos. Manager apologized & said that's just the recipe they use. read more

We went there on June20th. We enjoyed our dining experience very much and can't wait to do it again. Our server Madalyne was excellent she made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent. The Lasagna was very delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, lots of big screen tv's. Prices are very good also relative to portions served. read more

Unfortunately we will not be back I was super excited to try this place out(birthday lunch) food looked so good online starting off with appetizers chorizo queso is just ground beef n cheese which was probably the only thing I liked , fried picked were super salty but my daughter who loves salt enjoyed them. I ordered 12 hot wings they were not hot wings I think they might have gave me the wrong ones because they were kinda sweet I only ate 2 and gave the rest to my husband his steak was good and the kids chicken tenders were also good my son complained about his cheeseburger tasting "weird" but he ate it they also charged me an extra $1 for a kids fried to add cheese n bacon that we did not get (ordered 2 got 1) I was gonna ask for it to be taken off but waited around 20 mins to get to go boxes so we paid and left . read more

We were excited to try out the newest spot here in Katy. Since Bubbas offers a variety of food we thought it would be a good start. Arrived at around 4PM on a Saturday afternoon. Walked in and we were greeted, no issues there. We sat at a high top in the gar areas and didn't see or hear from anyone for 15 minutes. They weren't packed as a matter of fact there really wasn't anyone in the place. No servers came by, the bartender was busy cleaning and serving drinks. Now we could have got up and asked to get a server, but here is the rub.... we really shouldn't have to. You are a brand new restaurant in Katy.....what else could you possibly be focused on if it's not your customers? There are a ton of places to eat in Katy and there are tons of places that have closed because of lack of service. If I was an investor in this business and I as a new customer I sat for 15 minutes with not so much as a drink order I'd be worried about my money. There are just too many good places to eat in Katy for Bubbas to drop the ball this early in the game. Hopefully you guys get better. read more

This is our second time here. It was a Monday afternoon around 4 pm so it was not busy. I ordered a Black Bean burger with no cheese. The order took quite a bit of time to come out and I was served a bacon blue cheese burger...and she said she put the cheese on the side in case I changed my mind. I informed the waitress of the incorrect burger and she asked me if I wanted to keep this one or reorder the veggie burger. I said reorder the veggie burger. 15 minutes later I got my burger and my husband was already finished eating by then. Then when the ticket came she had both burgers on it.i asked her about the charge for the burger and she took off the wrong one but still charged for the veggie burger. I then asked if she was still charging me for the burger which she enterd wrong nd she did. The manager came by to give me a coupon for a free Appetizer on our next visit. I left it there and will not be back. She was so non chalant about the fact that someone was served beef and bacon instead of veggies when specified. read more

Horrible experience tonight I was so excited to try bubbas for the first time, and as soon as I came in host was great she sat us waited for about 15 min and nobody showed up to take our drinks, my wife and I waited and servers kept passing by and not even taking integrity to take a table or acknowledge us I was so upset that my wife and I decided to leave the restaurant and eat somewhere else later once we left I called the restaurant to talk to a manager and some lady answer the phone and I told her if I could please speak to a manager and she said "Ight" place me on hold for about 10 min I'm waiting and I just couldn't believe it how I feel ignored and nobody cared I hung up ! I shouldint be waiting for 10 min the restaurant was not busy and I myself as a restaurant manager knows what quality is I'm not sure if I'll ever come back but customer service was unacceptable!
