My first visit was today I ordered the nachos and didn't expect such a large portion. So much so that I will have the left overs for lunch tomorrow. Ordering on the website was quick and easy. Daniel is absolutely the best bartender/server we have ever had! We always have such a great time when he is there. We never have to ask for anything. He always makes sure we are well taken care of. The food and the atmosphere here is also great. You would think we would have known him for years by the way we talk and laugh with him. He always makes our night. We heard this weekend that while Daniel was working someone was driving to fast and had driven into his car totaling it. Insurance covered the cost of what he owed on the car but nothing else. He had saved $8000 to put the down payment on this car and now he has to start over. He is also putting himself through school. Please go see Daniel to help him rebuild the down payment on his car. I've been here a few times to get drinks before. My wife wanted to come so I took her to lunch this week. The music was a bit loud for us but the manager kindly turned it down. Our server Sama recommended the pasta and it is our new favorite. My wife got the shrimp appetizer as her meal which she said was good and filling. The prices are also affordable. First my drink order was wrong. Then after I had eaten most of my chicken sandwich I saw that half of it was raw. I told the waitress and she proceeded to argue with me. Great place the wings are large and you can get them anyway you want with the sauce on the side. By the way, their homemade hot sauce is not too hot and different than others. Also tried the bang bang shrimp, which is excellent. You just have to ask for more sauce. They're a little skimpy on that, but they don't charge you for extra. Also had a couple of their sandwiches and their pizza pizza is good at the restaurant not the best for warming up but that's not that bad when it comes down to good food. The service was excellent. When the hostess was seating us she walked by two empty booths to sit us next to the kitchen where 8 employees were standing by our table. I politely asked to move to one of the other tables so we could watch the Astros game. She took us back to the hostess stand and the other girl copped an attitude and told us we had to go back on the wait list. Are you for real? We were delightfully surprised by our dining experience here! Our wait even on a very busy Friday night was 10 minutes at most. I ordered a watermelon margarita and it was amazingly refreshing. I opted for a steak but was scared of what I would actually receive given I only order steaks at steakhouses. Let me tell you!!! Hands down one of the best steaks I have ever had. It was very flavorful, juicy and was able to cut with my fork, no knife needed. Something else that was delicious was the brocoli side it had butter and garlic, not like the bland option like most restaurants. The manager came by to give some history on the restaurant which we found very interesting. Overall a great experience. We will be returning very soon! read more

We ate at Bubba's 33 last night for Father's Day dinner. I am trying to offer a fair review of it and chalk our experience up to a new place still getting their bearings straight. We arrived around 9pm and were seated in a booth and then a minute later told we needed to be moved to another booth on the other side of the wall with no explanation (just odd but not an issue) and then needed to remind them we needed a kids menu like they suggested at the beginning for our 3yr old (we realized when we took a look at the regular menu there was kids options there and they just wanted to give us an activity paper as crayons for our son). We ordered drinks and food at same time. We got the appetizer combo, monte cristo, shrimp po boy, and kids tenders. We were told they were out of all desserts (my wife wanted to order the brownie sundae of our kid right away to keep him still). Our appetizer wasn't cold but wasn't hot at all, the boneless wings (garlic parm) were really good though. We waited nearly another 20 minutes before our entrees came. Though when my wife's monte cristo came it was served with Tater Tots and not the salad she ordered. The waitress right away said "I don't know why they gave you tater tots, I'll go check on your salad". She did come back with it a minute later. The presentation of the food was good but none of it was hot (wasn't cold, just seemed like it was sitting for a bit). The booth behind my wife had a father and his kids there and we assume the other waitress was his partner. We know this cause when I looked up while eating he was groping her at one point grabbing the pin on her shirt and getting an extra squeeze. Not really a sight I wanted to glimpse with my dinner. Also, when we asked for extra napkins our waitress came back with drink napkins not even the full sized ones. Overall, we might give it a try again later on when they've been around a bit longer but not anytime soon. read more

Went to this location yesterday to eat and watch a baseball game that was on...we've been to many Bubbas around Texas and it's always great. The food at this location was good. There were four of us, and we all ordered beers. When we ordered our second round of beers, our waiter told us if we ordered any more, that the manager would have to come over and talk to us, and approve our order of more drinks. I have NEVER been told this ever, at any place I've ever gone to. Talk about overstepping and micromanaging....to tell paying ADULT customers that they can only have two drinks and then start having to be monitored and approved for more is insane. Especially for an establishment that advertises coming to "have drinks and watch the game!"...we left shortly after this and went to Twin Peaks to watch the rest of the game. read more

Excellent food and service in a fun atmosphere. The ribeye steak was one of the best I've had in a long time. It rivals any steak house in the area, but at half the price. All food is fresh and made from scratch. The mashed potatoes, salad and salmon was absolutely delicious. (Had to try my wife's food.) Server was very attentive and promptly came to us with any asks we had. I am absolutely delighted that this place opened in Katy and I don't have to drive to Pasadena.
