Brunch Snob is a super poppin breakfast spot in the southern part of Phoenix, and it is the ultimate brunch stop on a Sunday morning. I made it in today with my lovely girlfriend, sister, mom, and my grandma, and we had a good old time with some amazing food. My grandma treated us and I was glad to spend some time with her. I ordered a caramel iced coffee which was yummy but it went down quickly and it had plenty of ice in a smaller glass. For my entree, I got the seared scallop Benedict which was quite honestly the most delectable breakfast I've had in awhile. It hit home on the savory brunch cravings I was having and I was pretty thrilled about it. I ate the entire thing, left no crumbs, no takeout box necessary. Everybody else around the table seemed to be enjoying their food as well. My girlfriend got the half waffle with toast, scrambled egg and hash browns, and she ate the waffle and the majority of her sides. We had a male server but I did not catch his name, but he was great overall, nice and attentive. I've come here once before, and the boobies on the bathroom wall always give me a good chuckle. Overall this place has a cool vibe and they have great decorations, including a really dope mural of Vincent Vega and Jules from Pulp Fiction. Their chairs all have fun descriptions on the backs of them, and the place is decked out with some large TVs if you want to watch sports here. Overall, this place has very solid picks across the board on its menu, and it's not too steep for your pockets, always a fun brunch stop if you ever decide to come to the area. Inviting space with nice ambiance. A lot of the chairs have qualifiers printed on the back, which makes for good fun. Tons of menu options (not as many for us vegetarians but I still found great options) and the dishes are all generous portions. They serve both breakfast and lunch options. Hardly any wait for a table for 5 people on a busy Saturday, and you can check in online while you're on your way, which I can fully appreciate. Also, cutest women's bathroom EVER. Hubby ordered the Crazy Clucker and I had the The Big Snob (added avocado) with French toast and.... It. Was. Divine!!!! Everything cooked to perfection, nothing over salted, fresh ingredients, great portions, piping hot, absolutely scrumptious! I especially loved the French toast, bread was sweet and fluffy, yummy! Hubby demolished his but could barely get his mouth around the first bite, it was that big! He raved about how juicy the chicken was and he couldn't stop talking about the fried bacon. The staff was really friendly! I loved that part. The mimosa flights were a let down, and I've never been let down by a mimosa. I don't know what kind of bubbly was in them but it wasn't giving. We forced ourselves to drink them anyway, the food wasn't bad, but like I truly didn't love it bc I didn't even bother to get a box to wrap up my leftovers and I ALWAYS box up my leftovers anywhere. I wanted to love this place because of the people and the smiles, but I don't think I would return or recommend. I've had so many better brunch dates. The country fried bacon or whatever that battered bacon is called was lit though. If you find yourself here, order that with the gravy it comes with!! No. This is their cinnamon roll they cut in half, soak in egg and made into french toast. So yummy! My boyfriend and I went Saturday morning and it was quite busy. We sat at the bar to be seated right away versus a 25 min plus wait. Staff was friendly and had a really good system and rhythm going. We found out they just opened and have only been open for 6 weeks now. Definitely go! Love all the pink decor and fun labeled chairs. The food was good and it's a nice spot overall. However, the reservation and waitlist process was frustrating. We booked through Yelp and were told we were first in line, but when we arrived we were asked to check in again and were moved down the list. We ended up waiting another 30 minutes after already waiting about 30 minutes prior. That felt misleading. It left us wondering what the point of booking through Yelp is if it doesn't hold your place in line. The host was also dismissive when we tried to clarify what happened, which made the experience more disappointing. I really wanted to love you Brunch Snob, but I could not. It is a lukewarm like due to the soggy, open faced carnitas omlette. To start, the wait was super short, and the service was okay. We felt ignored by our server a couple of times, but he always came over to us with a smile. To drink, we got a belini and their oki, which were both refreshing, a little sweet, but so good! We were admiring all of the drinks coming out of the kitchen as they were uniquely made and were super colorful and fun! To eat I ordered their open faced carnitas omelet with the potatoes on the side and sourdough bread. My friend got their big Snob breakfast with a pancake. They accidentally brought my friend bacon along with her turkey sausage, so she gave that to me. The bacon had a nice hint of sweetness and was crispy. My omelet came out just as described--open faced. The carnitas, avocado, and crema sat in the middle of a very sad and thin egg. As I dived in, I noticed a lack of flavor and super runny juice coming from the carnitas. It was like the meat was not drained at all. Also, it lacked a lot of flavor and spice, so I was so glad that they had cholula at the table. It came with salsa, but it did not really help. The best part of my meal was the bacon, toast, and potatoes. Maybe I am a little bit of a snob when it comes to my food as I feel like the quality of the food does not meet the hype--especially since the waiter mentioned the carnitas is smoked in house?!? Maybe I should've tried something different. After this experience, I am not sure I will be back as there are so many other brunch spots in the area. read more

I had high hopes after reading Yelp reviews before we came, but what a disappointing brunch! I do want to start by saying, this place is super cute, the ambiance is great, and every single staff member we interacted with was great. (Like, really great! Attentive, pleasant, and friendly, no mistakes in service whatsoever. And so apologetic about the bad food, even though it wasn't their fault at all. Give those folks a raise!!) Unfortunately, half the food we ordered was not good at all. My sister and I both got different eggs Benedict dishes (brisket for my sis, and veg out for me), and they were both so bland and lukewarm, that they were inedible. The spicy potatoes were also soft, barely warm, and had the texture of something that had been sitting under a buffet lamp for hours. My nephews enjoyed their dishes, both involving fried chicken, which they said was still hot and crunchy from the fryer. The fries one of my nephews got were also hot and fresh, unlike anything else we were served. This was our first time trying Brunch Snob in Phoenix, on a Sunday morning after completing some errands. We arrived a bit late in the day at 2 PM and they close at 3 PM. I think we missed the Sunday morning rush and felt the hectic energy and saw a lot of the mess left over from that. We were sat immediately at a long table with high chairs near the front window, and served drinks right away. Our waitress was super friendly and let us know that the brisket is made daily in the back and is one of the customer favorites. Our first half hour there we were really overheating, maybe because we were near the window. I think the staff turned the AC down halfway through our meal which was really a relief and gave me more of an appetite. The restaurant decor is adorable and cheeky and the waiters and waitresses wear snarky, witty T-shirts that read for example, "Champagne in the Membrane", "Resting Brunch Face", & "You Caught us Bottomless". The selfie station has a yellow neon sign that reads "Come and get your love" above a black bench and a comfortable black egg chair draped in pink flowers. All high chairs have nicknames painted on their backs. I got "Hottie" today - Lol, I'll take it. There's patio and indoor seating, a full bar and cafe, restrooms and many brunch and lunch menu items. We ordered: - Hot Vanilla Oat Latte - Hot Oat Latte - Princess Snob Cocktail (hold the rum) (Comes with a cloud of cotton Candy & a princess tiara!) - Celene's Favorite Brisket Sandwich & Hashbrowns - Big Ass Burger & Fries - Veg Out Benedict & Hashbrowns The coffee is excellent here. I loved the cocktail. It was sweet and peachy and very easy going down. Of course I put on my tiara for the day as soon as I was served. Hubs loved the burger. On our first visit, the owners came to check on us and that was nice. Looked cool but missed the mark mostly because the bacon itself wasn't crispy. Between the four of us, we got chilaquiles, the Mexican bowl and the pancake stack. I wasn't sure about the concept and vibe of this place called "Brunch Snob" in Phoenix. Upon entering, it all felt very haptic and disorganized. The restaurant offers Wait List seating via the Yelp app, however they were not using or acknowledging it during checkin. On the way it said less than a 5 minute wait but that was not accurate. I'd suggest to the management that they either train their staff in using this tool or ditch it altogether. My wife and I wound up being seated at a tiny table roughly the size of a postage stamp, cluttered with a bulky condiment caddy, plastic signs and giant menus. We elected to just share a couple small plates. I was intrigued by the "Chicken Fried Bacon". Just as it sounds, it's slices of battered, deep fried bacon. What's not to love. Anyway, it comes with a side of country gravy which was broken unfortunately. The combination was quite the sodium bomb. Drink lots of water. We also shared an order of French Toast Sticks. These were seemingly house made and quite delicious. Served hot & crispy with a fluffy soft & supple center. That one I highly recommend. Unique restaurant for sure. Your mileage may vary. read more
