My first experience here and it was amazing. I highly recommend making a reservation. They offer complimentary valet, which is definitely needed as parking is limited. We were sat right away once we checked in with the hostess. We were sat upstairs, where they had a live DJ playing. We all enjoyed our food (crab cake benny, steak and eggs, fried chicken biscuit, and B&S Benny). It was all tasty with good flavors. Our server was prompt and checked on us after food arrived. Absolute great place to check out. The music is dope with old 90s and early 2000s music. The food is off the chain BUT my only problem was the Blackened Salmon and Shrimp entree! (Only 3 pieces of tiny shrimp stacked on the piece of fish is crazy work). Aside from the only complaint, service was great, DJ was great and Valet is complimentary "tips accepted". Travis was amazing ! This guy rolled out the red carpet for us from the moment we entered the building. He made us feel like we were the only guests there, and clearly we were not. Have you ever been walking down the street, and you're hungry for breakfast, and you just want some bacon and eggs? And then you see a restaurant with "brunch" in the name, and you think, "why not?" We were on foot, at 8:30 am on a Sunday morning, so we didn't have a car to,park, but we should have run away when we saw they had valet-only parking; but we were hungry. As we walked into the (very nicely-decorated) restaurant, which was nearly empty, we were asked by the immaculately-dressed hostess if we had a reservation. That should have been another tip off that we were in too deep, but we were hungry. We were sat at an absolutely horrible table. It was horrible because, it was positioned directly in the glaring morning sun. None of the other tables in that section were similarly afflicted, nor was anyone sitting in any of them. We asked to be moved, and they graciously obliged us. (Side note: it must be policy or something, because the next 3 couples who came in, in succession, were seated at the same table, and all but the last couple asked to be moved.) The menu is... well, there's just no getting around the "P" word... this place is PRETENTIOUS (in all caps) and the menu reflects that, too. Luckily, I guess they were throwing a bone to simpler folk, because they did have a simple bacon and eggs entree. Both my wife and I had that, and it was... adequate. It's bacon and eggs, what can you do? We did watch other people get their foods, like, macaroni and cheese with a flippin' lobster tail plopped on top of it, and, while I can't rate the food, I can say that it was beautifully plated for that perfect Instagram photo. There were lots of people taking pictures of their food. I will add that I was tempted by the steak and eggs, but I was not $40 tempted. Let me be clear, nothing we had was bad (except our first table) and had we been looking for a bit of swanky pretentiousness, some bubbly, and a photo op, I'd probably give them higher marks, but as a place fulfilling a basic breakfast need, it's just too over-the-top. read more

I found this place by watching Food Paradise and it was amazing, so glad we found it. We came in on 9-23-23 around 11am and there was a large party of people waiting to get seated which I totally understand when you have the food. I ordered the pancakes with blueberries which were amazing. They had black cherry lemonade which was incredible and tasted so good. My incentive in going was on the Food Paradise they were showcasing the Cherry Jubilee Pancakes and I was looking forward to trying that. I found out however it is on a rotation every month with the Banana Fosters Pancakes and that's what was being offered in September. It just means I need to go back. It wasn't busy and there were only like 3 tables dining, when we arrived. As soon as we arrived, we stood in the front to wait to be seated and no one came to greet us. We waited for about 15 minutes, until my boyfriend finally went to find someone to see what's going on. The worker finally came and put our name on a list and said it would be about 5-10 minutes, before we are seated. We waited about 30 minutes, before someone came to seat us. When we were finally seated, our waiter gave us menus and a glass of water and never came back. We waited at our table for about 30 minutes with no one coming to take our order and we finally just decided to leave. My family and I came here after we landed and decided to give this place a try since my brother, who lives here has only gone to their old location, and we were all disappointed. The hostess was really nice and since we didn't have reservations, she was trying to figure out where to seat us especially since it was still early and who were the servers that were on shift. Once we got seated, it took awhile for our server to greet us and give us water. She made it seem like we were already annoying her when we haven't done anything. Our food was ok. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worse. The drinks were good though. Our biggest issue with our server came to payment of our bill. They use those portable card reader machines and she held it out to my mom to pay, which is normal nowadays, and she had automatically added gratuity to our tab, which was fine; however, the fact that she didn't mention it when my mom was paying and my mom adding more tip without knowing was our issue. No pleasantries after that or when we were leaving. The only plus about this place are the valet guys and the hostess - who were all super nice - and how cute the decor is, and the fact that there's a DJ during brunch.
