I ordered the "Brownsville Nut" smoothie, which was a delicious blend of peanut butter, oats, vanilla, and agave. It costs $7 for regular size. The smoothies are creatively named after different neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Staff was very friendly and personable. They wore masks, provided hand sanitizer to guests, and had visible social distance markets placed throughout the restaurant. Service was fast. Since I was feeling a bit under the weather because of a minor cold, I decided to make an order for a few of Brooklyn Blend's cold buster juices via delivery. I hadn't heard of this place before but decided on it because of the great reviews, reasonable prices, and natural ingredients. The cold buster is a juice that includes orange, pineapple, grapefruit, ginger, honey, and lemon. These were all the ingredients I was looking for to help me to fight of this cold. One of my friends recommended this place so I had to check it out! I can totally see why he loves it. It's got super chill vibes and they play hip hop. There's not a lot of seats but it seems like a good place to do some work since it's got a good amount of natural light. There's also a TV and they played the US Open. Service was also good! I ordered after my friend but my food came out first. A worker noticed and stopped by to let him know his food is coming out in a few. We both got salads and coffee. Surprisingly, the salads were super filling! I got the tuna salad (pictured) and he got the salmon salad (not pictured). The plates are large and they give you a good amount of fish. Also everything tasted super fresh! I've heard this place also has bomb smoothies so makes sense that the veggies and fruit in the salad would also be fresh. The tuna salad came with greens, red onions, apples, cranberries, cucumbers, and halved cherry tomatoes. They give you the option to choose which dressing. I believe the options were balsamic, orange ginger, and raspberry. I got the orange ginger and it tasted really refreshing! I was worried it would be too sweet from the orange but it came out very well balanced. I also got a latte which was good but nothing super special about it. Would definitely come here to try a smoothie in the future! Also just want to say that price wise, I personally think it's a little expensive because the salad and latte together came to about $18. I really enjoyed my breakfast time here. Its very spacious and always clean in this eatery but if you are in a rush, you can call to place your order and pick it up. But its definitely a place where you can eat your breakfast and chill with your laptop. They have many healthy food options including delicious sandwiches, smoothies, natural juices and wheatgrass shots which I am totally going to try on my next visit. The wheatgrass shot is 3 something for 1 ounce. Alittle pricey but I know times have changed. I used to pay less than 2 bucks for 1 ounce from a stand at Union Square. My breakfast addiction so far is the DeKalb Avenue sandwich. So much goodness was in that sandwich: eggs (I request egg whites though), turkey bacon, spinach and avocado. The fluffly, soft bread bun that they use has a interested greenish undertone; maybe they bake their own bread and add kale/spinach powder? Not sure but its sooooo good. Very fulfilling. I really love that the price is reasonable. At some other times, I ordered the salmon burger and while also tasty it wasn't as memorable as the veggie burger. The coffee is also great! I came here during COVID and the food was similarly on point. This time I decided to order the fingerlings but wasn't to keen on them because it tasted a bit too crispy (more on the burnt side). I love this place!! I have ordered lunch from Brooklyn Blend through Seamless many, many times. I have also ate in or came by to order a couple times. From my experience, the wait time can be up to an hour. When ordering online I always plan to order an hour ahead of the time I expect to get the food. Same goes for when I stop by to pick up. Today I got my delivery pretty quick (within 30 minutes), but usually they are very busy so it is a good idea to preorder in advance. The service is wonderful!! The food is always fresh!! I am so happy that I found this place in the area! I frequent the Livonia location. This is the best food that I've eaten out in a while. It's ridiculously delicious and super healthy. The prices are also extremely reasonable for the portions. I am a barely alive working student so relieved that this restaurant is in this neighborhood because I no longer have to rely on Applebee's, Domino's, and Popeyes when I'm starving. I don't feel sick after eating their food nor do I have to worry about my arteries being clogged. The staff are also very nice. THANK GOD AND THE STAFF AND OWNERS FOR THIS PLACE. P.S.
