They have an extensive list of so many great healthy options. The B44 with seamoss is absolutely refreshing and delicious. Need a coffee/tea pick me up, they have an array of options to choose from at their brew bar. They also have a great food menu too. From sandwiches, salads, pastries, breakfast, and patties. However, I didn't see any gluten free options besides salads and some of their sides menu options. This type of cafe, it would be great to also cater to the GF customers on the food menu too. Brooklyn Blend is my absolute favorite go-to spot in the area and makes my favorite smoothies in the city. It's like a cafe & has all the options a cafe would but with an extensive & creative & uniquely flavorful food menu as well. They have a smoothie menu with fun Brooklyn themed names & those are SO GOOD, but they do allow you to get creative and customize as well. My go-to is the Canarsie Cranberry smoothie paired with avocado toast, which comes with pickled veggies. It is so good & healthy & I have not found it anywhere else. The ambiance is also perfect. It's always bustling with people, but the seating is off to the side and cozy nonetheless. There is even a couch! The large windows allow lots of sunlight to come in too. In addition, I consistently love the song that is playing whenever I am inside. They know what they're doing here. The service is amazing. The staff is super friendly & helpful. They go above and beyond to fix any errors on the rare occasion (once out of the entire year) that there is one. 10/10 I recommend this place to all of my friends and they are always happy. read more

The food here is top notch! The turmeric bread that they bake daily for the sandwiches are amazing! I had the Greenwood Mango and it was the best mango smoothie I have ever tried. It was very sweet but had the good mix of mango and spinach. The veggie burger was really good and the pickled vegetables were tasty but as always the chipotle sauce is great. They need to bottle and sell it. As far as customer service, it was a bit lacking but I did do takeout so maybe you get more friendly service when you dine in. Well, I waited a little because of the crowd and I was very patient because there were quiet a few folk ahead of me. The salmon sandwich is made with turmeric bread. It does sound or look appetizing but don't be fooled with that. It is out of this world. Delicious and delightful. I sampled the jerk plantain. Caution, it is very spicy but the swing back and forth of the pepper and the sweetness of the plantains is savory. Every shake that I have sampled is incredible. Super disappointed with the service and management. I've been here several times over the last year, for their vegan options. Today however, today, the girl at the register made it clear she was upset that I asked her to point out the vegan options on the menu to me. After pointing out a few things that were not vegan; I asked her if she could clarify this with the cook. She came back and confirmed that they were not vegan. (This is very dangerous, because she could have got me sick if I ordered the wrong options she suggested.) Then she said she didn't know what was vegan. The park slope salmon salad was pretty big, enough you could share or save for later if you aren't too hungry. The park slope salmon sandwich is equally as tasty if you'd prefer a sandwich. For smoothies I love the Greenwood Mango and the Eastern Parkway Express smoothie and they were delicious. I've had the Brighton Beach Refresher juice too and that was a refreshing juice. The Pattie's are also really good- especially the jerk plantain. It's also an accessible shop, Black-owned, LGBTQIA friendly, and has gluten free and vegan options.
