My experience at this location was disappointing. The area by the smoothie bar was so dirty, which turned me off from getting a smoothie or juice. It was odd to see five employees behind the counter, with only one person preparing the smoothies despite having a large number of orders(which explains was the bar was so dirty)...The other employees seemed to be occupied with preparing cups - which seemed inefficient at that moment. Okay best smoothie shop ive ever been to! Tried the Smorgasbord (cashews, agave, sea moss!!), and a carrot smoothie! My friend, who's from NY born and raised, added mint and lemon to the carrot mango ginger smoothie and it felt like i was levitating after the first sip! My homegirl got a cute green juice as well...i didnt try it but it was literally gone in 30 seconds. I take that as it was bomb like the rest of the order. So yall this salmon sandwich...it has a sweet sauce on it and my homegirl added the scotch bonnet pepper sauce...the roll was so soft, the greens were crisp and delicious... i honestly am so impressed at how BK takes the simplest things and levels them up with freshness and vibes. I ordered from this place via Urber Eats. It took my meal an hour to arrive to me and once I received it my food still remained hot ! I ordered the salmon burger. I was a bit skeptical at 1st because it came on a turmeric bread and I know turmeric itself has an acquired taste, but this place really blew my mind with the baked turmeric bread ! I was impressed how good it tasted. I'm giving this place 4 stars because 1. I asked for my salmon to be medium and it tasted well done & 2. The patties are all amazing (salmon and lentil sell out early, but the others are just as good). The salads are serious. My go to smoothies are the "Smorgasburg" year-round and the "Fort Greene Park" in the summer. The staff are cool, they take pride in all aspects of the operation. The only teeny, tiny complaint I would have is that they do not really make it known that if you use the computer kiosk you are charged a fee, and if you check out with an employee you do not have to pay that fee. Tables are made from reclaimed wood, booth seating available, and they have stools against the bar, too. It's a great place to work during the day (free WiFi!) and the employees are super friendly. Perffff) -Church Av Special (Perfect for a morning treat. Not overly sweet and, with the banana, oats, and spices, it's just a great addition to your morning bagel.) -Fulton Street (good but basically tastes like peanut butter. The flavor takes over the entire drinks. And let's be real, I've never scoffed at PB, but it's a good thing to be aware of!) -Marcy Mango (the smoothie counterpart to the Broadway Junction.
