Salmon and chicken sandwiches, Brooklyn nets shake.
Kim P.

My wife and I tried their salmon sandwich, chicken sandwich and the Brooklyn nets shake which was very delicious. The sandwiches was juicy, the buns was very soft. The restaurant is very clean with very nice decor. Staff was very professional, respectful and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant a very healthier option and affordable alternative to the fast food we have around this area. We need to support and keep them open.

Brooklyn Reu-blend with a fried egg
Arielle B.

The Reu-blend was sooo good, I wasn't the biggest fan of the Russian sauce but it was still very good. The sauerkraut was also good, fried egg was a good addition on my end (need protein). Service is great & everyone is so nice & helpful, I appreciate the baristas. Also very quiet & quaint, whoever's on aux is great & the space is very pretty, clean & home-y almost. Would come back!

The DeKalb Ave Sandwich

The DeKalb Ave sandwich is delicious! The sesame-seeded, light-toasted turmeric bun was the perfect companion for the sautéed spinach, avocado, turkey bacon, and egg. This was the perfect combo of protein and fats to start your day.

Best restaurant in New York City, hands-down!!!

The best restaurant in New York City hands down, you have to come here from the staff to the food this place is amazing

Willoughby Spinach Waffles, omelette, turkey bacon, cafe aut lait

Returned for breakfast after getting an excellent matcha last week. Five stars isn't enough for BRKLYN BLEND. The spinach waffles are hearty, crisp, not too sweet, just what you'd expect and want. With the turkey bacon and omelette (get their pepper sauce!) the meal's a great deal too. They offer coffee au lait no extra charge and the drip brew is smooth and delicious. They have infused water, usually cucumber. The kitchen, register, smoothie bar, etc. is well-organized, efficient, well-staffed; this cafe is highly and regularly trafficked for good reason. You can order at the kiosk or cashier and they will get you in and out. If you want to stay a while there's lots of seating, nice wooden tables, bar chairs, big windows, outlets, and great interior design with big windows and exposed rafters. The big painting of New Lots is cool too. Will be back for their smoothies and coffee.

Canarsie Cranberry. So delicious.

The food is fresh and flavorful. The service is great. I visit Blend often while on my lunch break. It's hey bring a healthy option to the neighborhood where there's not much to choose from. It is kind of small inside so if you're in a hurry you should order well in advance because it gets crowded and sometimes backed up. It has a cute lil coffee shop vibe when you go in. I like it and will continue to support.

I've probably tried everything on the menu.. everything is simply AMAZING! My favorite place to have a bite to eat or a great smoothie! Everyone is so friendly and hardworking..I love how clean and calm it always is..I can read my book while getting in some health lol!

BKLYN Blend has a pretty solid selection of (pretty) healthy food and drinks is for everyone. I've ordered from here multiple times including their coffee and their "Marine Park" smoothie. I particularly liked their smoothie- it was a really nice combination of soursop, seamoss, pumpkin seeds, vanilla, and agave. All in all, I would order takeout again/visit this place if I'm in the area.

Being that I've lived in ENY most of my life, having this spot located at the heart of the East is a beautiful thing. My sister said that the food and mixed drinks are always good but I only had their coffee. Fun fact, the way a place brews says a lot about the spot...this place can brew coffee. Service: shout out to the folks at the front who immediately greeted me with a smile when I walked in and were ready to take my order. I really appreciate genuine and professional service and they showed it from start to finish. Ambiance: I'm sooooo obsessed with how cute and cozy this spot is. It isn't too big but it's big enough to grab a seat to read a book or do some work-it welcomes either. Beverage: as mentioned, I only ordered coffee with almond milk and let's just say that their coffee was brewed with love! It was rich and nutty (coffee lovers know what this means) that is simply an indication that the coffee was fresh brewed and that the taste of the coffee provided a beautiful balance with no burnt aftertaste. I support good coffee in the morning! Or throughout the day lol Overall, if I still lived in the state, I would be here a lot because it's not the first time that I've heard about how good this place is and that the food is excellent. I'll be back on my next visit. I wish them much success in the area.

So the day before I tried the other location. This location is great as well. Also when you check in on Yelp you get a few smoothie. Again everyone was pleasant and knew the menu well. The food was good and satisfying. My only issue was the salmon burger (the salmon) was overcooked - a little on the blackened side. I didn't enjoy it as much as the salmon burger I had at the Bed Stuy location. Still good but not as good. I will definitely be back. Also can we talk about black businesses bringing healthy food options to black communities!!! Man, not all heroes wear capes! Thank you Brooklyn Blend!

My favorite dish here is probably the mussels, great flavor and would probably go well with a glass of wine! The first time I came I tried a cocktail which was very good but because the dishes are very flavorful it might have been too much sugar/salt. The portions here are huge as well so I think for the price its very worth it. It's a cute restaurant as well with open kitchen so great for a date if you're sitting at the bar or if you have a group the tables are pretty big as well. Overall, it's pretty spread out inside which I really appreciate and I have found that it's pretty easy to get a reservation last minute. This place was the winner, and it was everyone's first time. We got in at our reserved time, and we had to wait about 5 minutes before our table was ready. Once it was, we were taken care of and quite frankly had no idea what treat we were in for! Let's start with the drinks. They have a drink on the menu called Celadon City. Who won the staff as a pokémaniac?! I had to get it just for the name. The rice vodka, yuzu, melon liqueur, and other flavors made it a fantastic, summery drink. My friends got the Smooth Landing & Smooth Talker ... One was a fantastic dirty martini and the other had the best bite of ginger. The food... Oh my God. We decided to split the breads and spreads and burrata... Each came with their housemade grilled focaccia, and the smoked paprika hummus and ricotta with chili honey? WHEW! The burrata dish with the sweet potato, pesto and tomato jam was a hit too. The menu didn't even say I'd have a balsamic drizzle on top! All of that was just the warm up... My gnocchi dish was spectacular. I'm not even a big mushroom person, but those oyster mushrooms and charred kale were a hit in the pasta. My friends' gigli pasta and mussels were great too. We ended up sharing a bottle of white wine as well, and the dinner was truly a 5/5. 0 I would absolutely go back, and it seems like their menu changes every now and then. I'm looking forward to the next time! Even if it's just for a cocktail.

The ceviche was probably the best ceviche I've ever had in my life. It was blood orange based, but the citrus was really well balanced. The king oyster mushroom dish was soo delicious. The sauce and the texture of the mushrooms were to die for. I've salivating thinking about them right now! The fish was also so amazing. The bottoms were so crispy, it was almost like it was a layer of potato chip! Really great texture, and the fish meat was cooked to perfection. Really sad that they're closing, but looking forward to whatever the chef/restaurant team does next!

It's a beautifully designed space, and we went in the evening so it was dimly lit and had good tunes, contributing to an intimate and cool vibe. The service throughout was good both by our primary server and the rest of the team that was bringing out dishes. For the food, we did not feel that it was a strong start, but the ending was great! The first dish to come out was their cornbread, which we agreed was very light and had a super tender texture, but there was just nothing special about the taste profile to us. The second dish were their prawns. We couldn't put our finger on the off-putting flavor in there, but we agreed that something just wasn't right and almost tasted spoiled. You also had to work a bit to dissect the prawns and remove the heads and skin. To work for it and then not enjoy the taste wasn't a great combo for us, unfortunately. It started turning around with their sweet potatoes, a type I'd never had before that were "baby" and purple on the outside while white inside. They served the potatoes with a gorgeously whipped Greek yogurt that added the exact right amount of tang to balance the sweet potato and the herby topping. The stars of the night were the coconut basmati rice and the lamb shank. My goodness! The rice dish was so complex from a flavor and texture profile and just hit all the right notes for us, and that lamb! Definitely one of the best lamb dishes I've had - Impossibly tender and seasoned to perfection. One other note I'll make regarding drinks is that they did not have a strong wine list. I ended up ordering a red, but later heard our waiter recommend against getting their wine to another table and suggesting their cocktails and mocktails instead. Just something to keep in mind if you're a wine lover!
