This is my first time ordering from Spread love and Eat. I ordered about 40 minutes before closing…read moreand honestly expected the food to be a little past its prime--but I was pleasantly surprised! My meal arrived right on time, piping hot, fresh, and definitely not the "leftover of the day." I'm usually not a fan of wild salmon, but this dish completely changed my mind. The salmon was tender and flavorful, with an accompanying sauce filled with red and green peppers, tomatoes finely diced and a red sauce. Must I say it was absolutely delicious. The jasmine rice was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were blanched just right. I enjoyed my dinner. I will definitely be ordering this again and sampling other dishes on the menu. Compliments to the chef!

This time around, I tried the BBQ salmon pesto with fries and the black bean burger with fries--both were so flavorful and satisfying. The aesthetic of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with good music playing in the background that sets a great vibe. The staff is super friendly, and the whole environment just makes you want to stay a little longer. I even had the chance to meet the owner during my visit, and he was incredibly kind and passionate about what he's building here. You can feel the love and dedication in both the food and the atmosphere. He mentioned there's a live music event happening on May 31st--so if you're in the area, definitely check it out! Spread Love & Eat truly lives up to its name. I'll definitely be back!

So that alone would tell the food was great. It's spacious and clean. Ordered, avocado toast with eggs over medium, pancakes and a caramel latte. Man that avocado toast was definitely 1 of the best I've had. The food exceeded my expectations for brunch. The prices for brunch definitely worth it. I'll definitely be going there again.

Decided to stop by on Sunday for breakfast. The restaurant is bright and spacious with minimal decor. We were seated immediately and set up with waters. The staff is so friendly and helpful as we decided what to get. We started with coffee and tea. The tea cup is massive so be prepared to have a lot of it. The coffee cup is small but they do offer free refills, so that was cool. The menu has so many goodies to choose from so it took some time to decide but eventually we ordered the BLT and the potato tart. The BLT came on a 6"inch sour dough ciabatta type bread which was so fluffy. The sandwich has arugula, charred tomato, your style of egg and bacon..ooh and a avocado mayo on the side. I got my eggs soft scrambled and they didn't disappoint. By far one of the best, if not, the best BLT I've had. Every bite was so flavorful and the texture was perfect. Now, the potato tart... The Potato tart was delishh! I would go back just for it. I don't know what's all in it but its amazing... I can not wait to go back and try other stuff, like the Lemon ricotta pancakes. If you ever pass by Nana's, please give it a shot.

There is ample indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor seating has fans and shade. I actually prefer the outdoor seating as I feel there's more room to move around in. The aesthetic of this place is super duper fun to gaze upon. We got the BestSandwichYou'llEverHaveinYourLife (that's if I got that name right), which was in fact quite delectable. It was spiced well, and appears the be the equivalent of a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The Shroom Chips were tasty- they also came with great spice and are paired well with an optional spritz of lemon and their chipotle aioli. The fries are also seasoned well and are tasty. Definitely worth a stop when you're in Brooklyn for brunch. I do love that they have vegan options- adding vegan bacon to the sandwiches is fun as a person who doesn't eat pork products.

I came during my lunch break recently on a weekday with friends and got seated right away. Their house roast coffee was really yummy, kind of cinnamon-y. Portions are generous! The Patchen Patty Melt was so, so good, cheesy, spicy, filling. Fries were nicely seasoned and peppery. Great local restaurant.

Off the bat, the exterior seems kinda plain but the inside the area is themed just like how it would be coming into a brick and mortar South American restaurant. Latin music, treats and snacks from their country. Service was swift, steady and courteous as it took no longer than 5 minutes for my food to reach my table. My lunch for the day was the Grilled Chicken Pabellon Lunch Special, Chicken Empanada, Tequequava and Tamarind juice. When the pabellon got to my table I thought it was a little on the small side but it was surprisingly filling. The Grilled chicken, a bit on the salty side still had taste to it and it was a good mix to go with the rice and beans. I loved the texture of the Empanada I had and the Tequequava (Cheeze & Guava stick) was actually superb. Never thought Mozzarella cheese could mix well with Guava fruit, but it was a solid blend. The Tamarind juice was sweet and savory. That was quite a meal I've ordered yet came just under $30 so everything was reasonably priced. The place is on a seemingly sketchy area of Cypress Hills but it's worth a second visit because the food is good and the menu has a bevy of choices there.
