Joined the waitlist on Yelp, which helped shorten the wait to about 10 minutes at 2pm. Lots of seating inside. We ordered the New York steak and eggs, Sweet Trio, and the Avocado Toast. The avocado toast was plain and simple. If you are a lover of plain avocado then go for it, there is a lot of it. The poached egg was excellent. The person from my group that ordered the New York steak and eggs loved their dish and mentioned how the meat was cooked perfectly. The Sweet Trio was just that, sweet and three items. The French toast and bread were somewhat similar in flavor. Also ordered a latte to go, but I wouldn't get that next time. It was too hot and all the foam was gone. Overall, simple and straightforward breakfast. Nothing wow or out of the ordinary. Service was fast & friendly. Plenty of parking spots. read more

Maybe I'm biased because I had a broken yolk on campus during my undergrad hahah but I think broken yolk is a solid 6.5-7/10. Service is usually meh, not bad but not great hahah and this place was no different. I think it's the same for the food, nothing is wow but nothing to complain about either. It can get a little loud as far as ambiance but still a good spot to get some brunch and catch up with others. I got the hash skillet and it was good, it warmed up well too as left overs. My table shared an order of the crunchy French toast which had a layer of cornflakes; it was originally supposed to come with fresh raspberries and a raspberry sauce but we got it subbed for strawberries. The chilaquiles here are wonderful, however I've noticed they're going down hill. The last few times they weren't the perfect soggy and crunchy consistency that they used to have. The salsas lacked rich taste. Though I do appreciate they offer a half-and-half salsa option because I can never choose between red and green! It's disappointing, their chilaquiles used to be best ones ever! This last time we also ordered the carnitas chilaquiles burrito. The kitchen must not know their menu because we were served the green ones rather than the red ones shown in the ad. Aside for that mistake, the burrito was enjoyable. Mostly because of the delicious and tender carnitas in it! I always see this place with long lines. Came in on a Monday and no lines. We got seated right away. We were welcomed promptly and given water. Our waitress came and gave us ample time to peruse the menu without pressure. Our food came within decent time. I ordered the Wellness Wrap. It was good. But is it suppose to be so soupy? My wrap was soggy. The bell peppers were chopped too large for the wrap to enjoy. Ratio of eggs to feta and veggies were good. The chilaquiles were a bit dry. The meat was underwhelming (no noticeable seasoning or flavor). The only thing that my friend didn't like was the fact that it was a "bowl" so all the sauce went to the well of the bowl. By the time she reached the center, all her chips were soggy and over sauced. The lemon ricotta pancake was just a pancake. Nothing amazing. Lemony flavor but low on the blueberry flavor. So we chose the pick two Benedict. My friend chose the sope and I chose the salmon (an additional $2). It arrived with two sopes. We informed our host and she brought the replacement but threw out the one sope that was brought in error. Usually, once an item touches your plate, they'll let you keep it. Per our host, she said it was policy and threw it away. My friend's OJ was served with a tall glass and while drinking .... We both noticed the cup had leftover lipstick stain from a previous customer. She gagged and asked for a new one. Overall, underwhelmed with flavor and cleanliness. read more

We participated in the Fullerton Day of Music and wanted to go grab brunch. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated in a comfortable location. Our food was delicious also. Why three stars? I am generally patient, but the restaurant was half full and we waited 15 minutes before anyone asked if we had been helped. The person cleaning asked and we told her no. She said someone was coming. 10 minutes later, a person bussing the table asked if we had been helped and we told him no. He asked if would like coffee and he would get us help. 3 minutes later (yes, I set my watch at this point) our server arrived happy as a clam. An almost 30 minute wait to speak to the server is unacceptable. We still left a tip because we would have sat forever if the person bussing tables hadn't helped and we didn't want to short him. read more

Not recommended saw lots of customers leave because of the long wait. They should just try being honest and hire more servers only thing about this place is the catchy name. I had breakfast on a weekday morning; there was no wait to be seated. Their breakfast menu is extensive but my eye was immediately drawn to one of my favorite sandwiches - a monte cristo. I ordered that and selected hash browns as the side (several options available for a side) and a regular coffee. The monte cristo, for those unaware, is a french toast sandwich with turkey, ham, and cheese inside with a sprinkling of powdered sugar on top and jam for dipping. It was presented cut into fourths which made for easy finger pickup. The french toast was made well, soft but sturdy, and the deli meats were okay. The best part was the raspberry dipping sauce which had a couple actual raspberries. I've never had a monte cristo with raspberry (usually it's strawberry or sometimes blackberry) and I absolutely loved it. Enough so that I ordered an additional bowl of raspberries. The little plastic cup with the raspberry sauce was too tiny to dip the sandwich into so I used a spoon to drizzle it on each bite. The hash browns were quite good with a nice crunch on top and the coffee was your basic cup o' joe. The service was attentive and friendly; no complaints there.
