Was very disappointed that I made an appointment 2 days ago for a 10:00 am appointment,I called at 10:30 and ask if they were still coming and I was told they were finishing up with another customer,I asked why I wasn't called no answer. The service at Broadway Locksmith is amazing! I received an email while out of town on Christmas Eve that the condos above mine had water flooding into them, and unfortunately no one in Seattle had a key to my place to check on my (new!) floors. I called Broadway Locksmith, explained my situation, and they were able to make a key for my unit from the information on my original key. The employee I spoke with was even nice enough to drop it off in my building so a friend could check on my condo. I called one evening for a locksmith that I needed to come ASAP. Whoever I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and told me that there might be an easier and cheaper way to remove a lock than I had previously thought. Another guy came the very next morning right on schedule with my appointment! Also, he was very nice and courteous and took care of my lock within minutes and gave me as many keys as I wanted. They are great! Super nice and help me quite a bit with my antique/ vintage door locks. They know quite a bit and aren't very pricey.

This is a great company with incredible customer service! My lock jammed at 5:30pm and they were the first group I saw come up on yelp.... I called and Tyler answered and he said they didn't have any available people- so I was going to ask him for a referral, but after a brief pause, he said, where do you live? And I live nearby so he said, okay, I will come help you. And he quoted me a price, and was there within 10 minutes! He fixed my lock after just a few minutes and because it was so fast he didn't even charge me. I was shocked.... and insisted I pay but he said no, I was on his way home and it was a quick fix. He also mentioned that they do alarm monitoring and told me a little about it, and I will definitely be switching to this local company as soon as my contract with ADT is up. These guys are great. We called on Black Friday night at 9.30pm due to a lockout. Left a message on voice mail and Bjorn called back no 5 minutes later - so don't be discouraged by voice mail - they call back quickly! Bjorn promised to be there within 30 minutes and showed up before that. He was very professional and checked our ID before he actually opened the door - which took him 3 minutes. He reassured us that he is a trained professional and that our door is not that easy to open. It took him less time to open the door than it took us to pay the bill. IF YOU HAVE AN OLD CAR (OR ANY CAR), THIS IS YOUR LOCKSMITH. I just purchased a 1983 Vanagon with the original locks still in place and I was unable to open the back hatch or passenger side door. I called multiple locksmiths and got a bit of a run-around due to the age of my van. Most told me to just buy all new locks and have them installed. Unlike the others, Broadway Locksmith was happy to help me. I called in advance and they gave me some tips to try to fix it myself. Didn't work, so I drove it down to their shop so they could have a look. In a matter of about an hour, they'd cleaned out years of graphite in both locks and cut new keys for the doors and ignition. The locks work effortlessly now and I have confidence that I'm not going to get locked out. When it was time to leave, their technician moved his own vehicle and stopped traffic so that I could pull my big old van out and drive it home. My Saturday afternoon emergency was having my house keys stolen. The threat to my home security had me calling locksmiths. Broadway Locksmith is AWESOME! I've used them a few times in the last few months to change locks at a house we were moving out of, and further at the house we were moving into. Each time, Aaron was presented with some "challenges" as both homes were old. He came up with simple solutions to problems we'd lived with for several years -- leaving us wondering why we'd let it go so long. Aaron just finished replacing a lock mechanism from a very old and valuable door that was imported from Paris and is circa early 1800's. He had to retrofit the mechanism , and even replaced the chunk that would have left a big void for a carpenter to repair by repurposing the piece he had to take out to replace. Couldn't recommend them more! And the icing on top is the price - every time I pay them I'm left wishing they were more than locksmiths - I could use these guys quality workmanship and value on every type of service we need around here!
