This week my connection started dropping at least 50% of packets. I called right away on Wednesday morning at 9am. They said the ONT needed to be replaced and that they would ship one out to me that day and that I should expect it the next day. I asked if I could pick it up, or any other option to not be down for a day and they said there wasn't. They shipped the ONT UPS Ground Saver from Santa Rosa, it won't be here until Friday at 9pm at the earliest so I called back twice and they said there was nothing they would do to help me. They also said that if the ONT doesn't resolve the issue I would have to wait for a tech appointment which would be another few days. --- Update: Sonic came through and dispatched a great technician, Guillermo, today who brought a new ONT and did extra work to make sure everything was working. I'm back online and very happy again.

They don't have a zillion people working for them like the big outfits. Each time I call or email, it's the same one or two people. They are skilled technicians. They respond right away. My call never gets transferred. The buck stops with them. I just ran a speed test on it comparing both, since my Comcast Business is not disconnected yet. Their new Lightning Plan is comparable to Comcast Business.

What REALLY impressed me was their honesty and fair play. That is so hard to find in today's "dog eat dog" economy.
