I would like to recognize Clarisa at the Verizon Wireless store in Fairfield for outstanding customer service. I initially came in for what should have been a simple task: turning in my trade-in phone. Clarisa greeted me immediately upon arrival, checked me in, and reassured me that the process would be easy and that someone would assist me shortly. Unfortunately, the interaction that followed took much longer than expected and became unnecessarily complicated. After spending about 45 minutes trying to clearly explain that I was only there to turn in my trade-in -- not to add a new line -- the issue still wasn't resolved. At that point, Clarisa noticed the situation, stepped in, gathered my information, obtained the proper authorization, and completed my trade-in in under three minutes. There are two types of employees: those who focus solely on sales, and those who understand that great sales start with great customer service. Clarisa exemplifies the latter. She listened, acknowledged the issue, followed through, and executed exactly what was needed -- efficiently and professionally. Thanks to Clarisa, I left the store completely satisfied. This was the best verizon location forever, I came here for everything. There was this woman who ran it and she just handled everything it was great! Now they have a manager named Clifford. This guyis just the worst.. manager ? This location is done, sucks there arent many verizon actual locations left. Now im here and have been for over an hour waiting on a Sim card, literally. They have not only been rude and dismissive but l am almost in tears right now. Okay, he told me I can't get a SIM card for my phone number because it's not attached to a phone so that I have to come back with a Sim enabled phone for him to attach the SIM card to he says that they don't go around giving out sim cards like that because they don't have numbers attached to them and I said well isn't the SIM card the number and he said negative the SIM card is not the number okay then what is the SIM card why can I switch SIM cards with someone else and have their phone number. I was involved with an unpleasant customer service experience on 10.19 w/ sales representative Rodney and manager of the day Ulysses that validates why this store has a 2.5 customer satisfaction rating. I wanted to upgrade my phone and upon entering the store the customer service rep on the floor, Rodney instead of showing a customer friendly attitude he demonstrated a dismissive and condescending attitude that was not customer friendly. 1. I had to approach him to initiate the conversation. 2. When asked if he could cancel an order he responded by stating that he "could only do sales." 3. When asked to speak to a manager. He responded that the manager was "too busy." (The store had two customers on Sunday afternoon at 4:45). He eventually went to get the manager. When Ulysses, the manager finally came out. The poor customer service experience continued. Due to the poor interaction between the manager and my wife. I asked for the district or regional manager's name. Ulysses initially declined, however after I reminded him of the power of the internet. I'm guessing he had second thoughts and he subsequently provided the requested information. The frustration with the less than friendly attitude led to a pointed insult directed towards Rodney ("He was Fo"). We then left without completing the transaction with intent to follow up with the Tyler, the regional/area manager. read more

She even put in the to install a screen protector as I always leave air bubbles under them. These guys will tell you anything and completely lie to you in store to get your business and money. They sold me on a business plan with multiple phones couple of iPhones and couple of Pixels and a tablet. It took them 5 months to add all the discounts to my account after me having to make multiple multi hour phone calls. The business rep keep telling me don't worry, what ever you pay extra now you will get as a credit later. Get in credits later !? I'm paying almost a extra $200 a month till you get around to finish your job.... What about you guys keeping my $1200 wrapped up for almost 6 months ? As a small business don't you think I would need cash for my own experience? After finally pleading with these guys they finally get their shit straight and add everything up to my bill I THOUGHT !! come to find out these guys never added my bogo deal on my Pixels phones. Sooo numerous calls to customer service promises of people calling me back that never happened they tell me to go to the store I made the purchase. 2 day wait for a appointment I talk to a girl with bright pink hair that is no help so she calls the manager over they both look at my account and tell me they can't do anything about the buy one get one free promo that I was promised because the time that action could have been taken has now expired and that I bought the plan equipment from a third party store. So now these guys are just trying to get rid of me and don't want to hear any rhyme or reason. I did not buy from a third party store I bought it here and in the receipt it shows this exact store. And a written contract is a written contract regardless of the time frame, if I'm promised a bogo deal on a phone then that's what I expect. The manager that was working at the time a younger white guy tells me his hands are tied and basically screw off and we don't care that my business rep riped you off for $1000.00 bucks and if I don't like it I should call customer service threw the app. Mind you that customer service tells me to come specifically back to the store and made the original purchase. So of course a waste of another hour and basically made to feel like I'm doing something wrong or it's my mistake for not catching this earlier. As a small business owner I couldn't imagine being able to get a away with this ever imagine doing this to a valued customer. I spent another 2 hours with another business manager on the phone and finally she gave me my thousand dollars back that they stole from. So this shows me that they could have done this from the start but specifically chose not to, this specific store chose to steal a thousand dollars from me. They are more than willing to sell you a phone but it ends there. I wanted to purchase the new iphone from Apple because of the awful customer service that I get from Verizon.. and even that was an issue because Verizon would not communicate with Apple that I was an account manager. I gave in and ordered online based on the fact that Verizon rep said that would gladly help me set it up in the store. Of course that was another lie. Horrible. I've been having issues since November with Verizon regarding past balances. Ive never had service. I've never purchased a phone. Never had anything but yet I'm still placed in collections. jan 1/24 I called took an hour to get a hold of someone. Spoke to Alan said he would "fix it" apologized and will put a credit to close out account 1/31 someone cancelled credit because account was already closed. now it's in collections 2/17 received collection notice email I called spoke to gene Flores " said he would fix it but i didn't believe him. 2/17 called again Jessica or Courtney would fix it. Nothing 2/17 received a call from collections account entire amount is credited. I should get letter in mail. Never received any Mail. Also spoke to the lawfirm that has the collection account the said they would fix it. 3/23 another email from a different collection company that I still have a balance. Called them they said they would fix it. I'm annoyed, stressed, and crying because it is so annoyingly frustrating to not have this resolved. I'm honestly out of words. I never can get a supervisor. Every person says they will fix it but they don't. This is not including prior times I've called and all the times I've spoken to both collections companies on multiple occasions. Terrible terrible terrible. Oh and did I say terrible??? I walked into this store last Sunday and was greeted by Tyler who (told me) that he was the manager. As a former VZW employee I try my hardest not to go into the store for anything because well, they don't help you. The signal on my 7month old Galaxy 22 Ultra had completely gone out, I figured this was an internal antenna issue or possibly needing a new Sim. I performed all my resets etc before coming in and explained this to Tyler. In true Verzion fashion he said my phone didn't work because I had a payment arrangement not true. So I paid the arrangement (that was not yet due) and phone STILL didn't work (duh). He activates a new Sim and then asks me if I want home internet (one track mind this guy). Why on EARTH would I want home internet when I'm here for a troubleshooting issue that 100% involves your internet coverage (light bulb real dim). I left after getting the new Sim, problem continued so I came back to order my replacement device (I'm still under warranty btw). He refused my help, told me all he could do was "sell me a phone" (also untrue) so I asked for his district managers information. He told me he didn't have one . BEYOND UNTRUE. He then gave me the phone number to Isaac which is apparently the actual manager. I called, left a message and received NOTHING from Isaac. Here I am in Los Angeles a wk later with the same issue. Went in to the store yesterday to inquire about updating 3 iPhone 12's to the iPhone 14. I was greeted by a gal who seemed pleasant at first. Then when I explained why I was there she seemed to brush me off and said just order it on line. I get that this is probably commission based to some degree but to not offer much advice to a customer is mind boggling. I never experienced this at the T-mobile store at the mall during my 8 yrs with them. I think I'll wait now til my contract is up in July and switch ALL of my lines (5) back to T-mobile. Had appt to get 2 new phones. Total waste of time going to the store. Customer service was non-existent. Asked for price per month after we got the new phones. Typed in some info and went to get print out for us. Not sure how we were going to get a quote when he never asked us what plan we wanted. Also no phones in stock. Couldn't look to different colors. $50 restock if we wanted to change color once we finally got the phones. After waiting 30 min, and no communication we left. Will not recommend this store to anyone. I was treated with such indifference. I was concerned due to my phone notifying me it was not connected to a service provider. I just switched to Verizon the day before. I entered the store and expressed my concern. (Now I do get it there was a widespread outage beyond the control of the staff.) However, what they did control was their level of professionalism in informing me of the outage. No apology or understanding for my concerns just to basically deal with it and we have no answers for you. I asked to speak to a manager. I was handed a phone with a person who just continued the indifference. To top it all off when I asked him is name. He told me he didn't need to give me his name. I got off the phone in disbelief I was being treated so rudely. I then asked the sales associate for a business card with corporate number. I was informed she did not have either. I asked for her managers name she told me she was not allowed to give it out. This was just ridiculous. So different from when I switched carriers the day before. Will never return to this store again. I now understand why the sales associate was rude. She was a reflection of her leadership. I feel Yelp really needs to have different rating systems based on different aspects of the business. Like for restaurants, base it on customer service, food, and/or the store/restaurant itself. This 5 star is STRICTLY for Olivia the sales specialist who patiently worked with me and was very communicative with every step of the way. I am tech savvy- I can work around systems with the best of them, do the mobile thing with everything in life because I absolutely HATE going into stores, dealing with people (I know I'm terrible). It's just easier to do things on a computer and pick up. After a week of back and forth with Verizon customer care online I finally came in the store ready to act a fool and get my new phone situated. Olivia's presence was calming, she was attentive and helped me in every aspect of the job. GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE AND BONUS! She deserves it! 30 years ago we had Verizon and it was wonderful. We switched to AT&T when we got our IPhones. But wanted to switch back to Verizon, which we did 3 years ago. What a mistake!!! Verizon is the worst! I've been to this Verizon store before and had a wonderful experience with the Verizon specialist that helped me sort out some issues with my plan and also helped me purchase a newer phone. Unfortunately, due to my recent experience at this Verizon store, I'm giving this place one out of five stars. Since my boyfriend's old phone was super glitchy and had a shattered screen, I decided to buy him a new phone for Christmas. We had the misfortunate of having Lorena as our Verizon specialist, who wasn't friendly to us upon arrival. My boyfriend had a couple of questions concerning the different phones that he had in mind. He asked, politely, if they had an older version of the phone still in stock (which they didn't) and I asked if they had another one in stock. Lorena said that they still had the one I asked about in stock, but she didn't recommend getting it since "it will be obsolete soon". My boyfriend politely asked Lorena why the phone is going to be obsolete, which she got an attitude with him when attempting to answer his question. He then asked her what features he would still be able to have if he did end up getting a phone, since she said it would be obsolete. Lorena got argumentative with him and even cut him off while he was still talking. It was blatantly obvious that she was irritated with him, but he remained calm and collective. He agreed to get the newer phone and she disappeared to the back to get it for him. I personally wanted to have another Verizon specialist help up with the transaction, especially since the other lady that helped me out before was there, but my boyfriend didn't have a huge issue with the interaction with Lorena at that point. Unfortunately, the situation didn't improve during the rest of the transaction. When Lorena brought the phone out, one of her co-workers asked her a question and I overheard her saying that she's trying to be done with us as quickly as possible. Lorena avoided eye contact with me through most of the remaining transaction. She rolled her eyes at us when we wanted to do a split payment, since my boyfriend wanted to buy a new case and pay for the upgrade fee himself. I tried to lighten up the mood by trying to joke around, but she cut me off and handed over the bag with his phone and phone case in it. She didn't tell him how he could transfer all of his stuff from his old phone over, Lorena just handed us the bag and said goodbye. I would have given this place four out of five stars, however, the most recent experience I had at this Verizon location was horrible. I understand people have hard days at work (because I've definitely had my fair share of them), but you don't have to take them out on other people (especially when they are new customers that have done nothing to you). Lorena's attitude and lack of professionalism was disturbing. I just pray that whatever she's going through works out in the end. Verizon has provided me with the worst service of any company I have ever dealt with. There is no way to reach a person that actually provides help.. Individuals are provided with good training and have fine personalities. However they are not capable of helping you. No one ever at Verizon has called me back. I believe it is against a company policy for any personnel to return a call to an individual customer. The company is clearly there to make a profit at the expense of the customers. If they spent more money on Customer Service then on marketing most of us would be more happy. read more
