Very frustrating experience with my new iPhone 17 purchase. The phone service has been good, and usually the customer service too, at least at their other location in town. The employees need to understand that when they are mumbling data speak to customers, that... 1. The music in the store is too loud and distracting. It's hard to understand you. Don't just tell me stuff. Answer me clearly. 2. I don't speak data speak/T-Mobile speak. Please explain your terms, don't just repeat them. You went to school to learn these terms. I didn't. I'm just a normal guy off the street. 3. Turn off the ringing phone alarms that are signaling a phone is out of place. I know that you are all used to working with phone alarms going off. To me, that is a distraction. 4. Tell me ahead of time that the process is going to take well over two hours. I could have scheduled out the time, instead of being told that I could take a walk and come back later. You would complain if you ordered dinner and then had to wait two hours to be served. That's how I felt. Corporate management needs to train their employees to be more than salesmen and technical advisers. Courtesy and respect would go a long way in bringing back customers. read more

I'm writing this for the corporation, not the employees. Any interaction I've had with any of them has been helpful and pleasant. I just recently paid my phone off and I called to get my bill reduced or I would take my business elsewhere. I've been a customer for 5 years. I've never missed a payment. I was on the phone with the first agent for about 40-45 minutes. She asked what I was looking for and I told her I need to reduce my bill to something more affordable. I'm disabled and older. I'm on a fixed income and an over $100 a month bill isn't going to work for me anymore. We went back and forth until she asked her supervisor and they said they need to send this request to a different department and it may take 2 days. I waited. No call for 3 days. So I called back and spoke to the second agent. None of what I was asking for was noted in my account. I told the second agent my request. He also put me on hold and asked his supervisor (I guess) and they said they needed more time, they'll get in touch with me with a decision. I waited and waited for a call back through the weekend. I missed the call I guess and they left a message that my request was denied. The agents were nice and I have no problem with them. My request may have been unusual because the charges I'm getting are probably normal. But it never hurts to ask. IF they did accommodate me, my bill would go down $40. That's a week of groceries for me. I've decided to take my business elsewhere. I did write the CEO and I never got a response. Which doesn't surprise me because they're a corporation and they don't care if they lose me as a customer. But here's the email... "Good afternoon.  I've received the message that my request to lower my bill has been denied. It's too bad because I've been a loyal customer and I've purchased a phone from you. It's obvious none of that matters.  It's obvious t-mobile needs the $$$ more than they need a customer. I'm not important and my business doesn't matter.  Corporations are KILLING us. The world has changed so much in the last 20 years that it's a necessity to have a cell phone. It apparently gives you the green light to rape us financially just because you can. Because you know we need one to function in modern society, the 21st century. I mean, why not? Y'all are making record profits and probably don't pay your employees enough to live.  I'm disabled and live on under $2000 in Napa Valley, California. It's one of the most expensive places to live in America. I live here because I'm a pastry chef and this is the food capital of the west. I was injured and I can no longer work. I don't think what I've asked for is too much. It is an extra $50 a month I can use to eat. But it's obvious that it will break t-mobile financially if I was honored as a loyal customer.  I'll pay my bill for the last time next week. Called into the store to ask a question and the woman who answered the phone was quite rude, interrupting me and telling me, just stop and listen. After she finished since she didnt care about or understand what i was explaining to her, i informed her that i didnt appreciate or care for how she just interrupted me telling me basically to stop talk and just listen I asked for her name she said her name was Brenda and her manager would be in the following day. If these are the type of rude customer service employees tmobile is having represent them I will Definitely be moving to a new cell carrier. I have delt with tons of customer service representatives in the last 25 yrs and I have never had some one rudely interrupted the customer and basically tell them to stop talking and just listen. Visited the store 6/28, waited in the waiting area for about 30 minutes without being acknowledged by either employees that were on the floor. Yes they were both assisting customers but a simple "Hello we'll be right with you" would have been nice. After 30 minutes 3 other employees came out of the back, one left, seemed like she was the manager and the other two stayed. I thought, okay maybe they'll help, but I was wrong. All 4 employees began talking amongst themselves & we were still sitting there without being acknowledged. My mom and I finally got annoyed and just walked out. T-Mobile has been the most awesome deserving cell phone you could have for being elderly and disabled, not necessarily even elderly. I've been a T-Mobile fan for probably at least 20 years. They have worked with me throughout my life. Being that I live in California we have power outages. T-Mobile has supplied me a hotspot box FOR FREE! I keep my phone charged in my car. T-Mobile helps keep things posted for the power outage. Does your cell provider do anything for you? read more

i have been a member at at&t for 10 years, every year .. no, every phone bill they screw me over. i finally decided to switch to TMobile. Bryan was amazing and so helpful. It took me 30 min in and out and the best part is i thought i had lost all my pictures from a trip i had just taken and he was able to recover it. This is the worst 2 months I've EVER had with a wireless carrier!!! I spent over $1000 in phones, awful coverage, misleading plans, and not to mention my TIME!! Every single time I went in there it was at least an hour, the people are rude, and management is even more unhelpful or empathetic than anyone else there! I was extremely upset w/ my experience with T-Mobile, I was mislead by the consultants (on numerous occasions), and nothing to compensate for the time or money I lost. I walked in approximately around 4:40 PM this afternoon I came in to look at Two iPhone 7 Plus's us 259 GB Determined to purchase both these phones and was potentially considering an iPad Air. As I walked in I strolled around the store looked at numerous different items compared my current phone with the iPhone 7 and was ready to buy! There was 3 to 4 sales associates on the floor no one made eye contact no one greeted me. One female associate and one male associate both were preoccupied with a customer finalizing a sale. There was another Male associate that had just finished with a customer. That customer walked out And a new customer walked in and he greeted the new customer and immediately offered to help him and his significant other. He shared with both of them about T-Mobile coverage and quality of service in Saint Helena. I walked around the store one more time browsed at the fast rapid USB charger keychains and saw that nobody facilitated any assistance nor was I greeted and informed that someone would be with me shortly. I walked out a few minutes ago and decided to leave this review. 2 to 3 contract sales lost for the store I want I'll GPS to the nearest T-Mobile, Mel cell for this one! After having had ATT, Sprint, and Verizon cellular service I can say that I am very glad to be with T-Mobile. Their customer support, from Mgr. Anthony on down is great. They solve problems, answer questions, and have wonderful patience with seniors who are not as technologically savvy as the younger generations.
