Two different employees asked what I was looking for, but instead of actually assisting me, they simply pointed in the direction I needed to walk and left me to figure it out on my own. Customer service should be more than just pointing someone toward an aisle. And when there aren't many customers around, a little effort and personal attention goes a long way. Being pointed in a direction twice without anyone actually helping was frustrating and, frankly, completely useless. It's sad to see a store you grew up going to lose the level of customer service it once had. When I returned to purchase an OEM Apple screen replacement, I was quoted $300, only to find out that you are unable to source the part. Throughout this process, there has been a consistent lack of communication and unfulfilled promises regarding your inventory. Repeatedly misrepresenting your inventory and failing to follow up with customers is unacceptable. I expect far better service and transparency than what Alex, your father, and you have provided.
