    Mr Arthur
    Dominique B.

Love my neighborhood Capital City Pharmacy! I always make it a point to come in here and by my eucerin lotion and allergy medications and anything else I might need... Why pay all those exorbitant prices at CVS, WG, and RA??? Why not keep it local? Mr Arthur brought this business here to help our community and I see him all the time going to cars and opening doors for folks who have walkers so he can open the door for them and make sure they get into the space all right. I hear him ask people all the time "how is your mom doing"... "how is your grandfather doing"... He knows everyone by name! Who does that anymore? Mr. Arthur and his staff, that's who. Just got all my Father's day and graduation greeting cards there. Think about giving this family-owned business your business. It's fun to come downtown... there's plenty of parking, good food and wonderful community. But unfortunately now that some of the big art galleries are gone the foot traffic is almost 0. They need your help so they can stay open and continue to serve are Vallejo community, especially all the elderly folks that walk here. Please consider CCP before you give your money to CVS, WG, or RA!!!

Small town pharmacy. Big time customer service. If you want a Pharmacist that cares look no further. Art is just over the counter.

From day one Arthur has remembered me and made a point of asking how I'm doing regarding my medication.

She acted annoyed when I told her I've forgotten how to use my OTC card since I've only used it once/twice at their branch. She brusquely asked if I was a member. After telling her I don't remember, she curtly replied "then you're not a member" without even bothering to check with my phone number. I asked her if she could check with my phone number, and she tersely replied "what's your phone number?"; she found out I was. The whole time, her demeanor was frosty, unwelcoming, and rude. There was no smile, no kindness in her eyes; just plain condescension. It's really bad for the business and clients if a client-facing employee obviously doesn't like her job and is ill-mannered. Her character clearly showed, and it was apparent that she wasn't "just having a bad day". And just in case she'll make an excuse of "having a bad day"; no matter what, you never bring your problems to work. When you work dealing with customers, a little warmth and kindness never hurt anyone. After the transaction, and before going out to the exit, I quietly told her "you know what, you could do better with a smile"; she tersely and frostily replied with the same cold eyes and hard, unsmiling face "have a good day". Before encountering Heidi, I've never heard "have a good day" spoken in such a robotic manner, with an attitude furthest from what the phrase supposedly means. Have some warm chicken soup, Heidi. Hopefully, it'll take you out of Mordor even for just a few minutes.

During that time I've been in horrendous pain and agony. Do they care? Nope. Open at ten am on weekends but closed by the time most are off of work. Of course they take a lunch and close the entire pharmacy because who's ever heard of staggering lunches to assure people's needs are met? Why bother having a pharmacy at all? Close this place and let community needs be met by a pharmacy that gives a flying crap.... cause this one doesn't.

Do not go to this Pharmacy…read more For the past two years and across multiple surgeries this pharmacy has failed to complete its basic function in filling prescriptions on time, if at all. My doctors have complained that the pharmacy will say refills or updated instructions were not received - and they were sent multiple times. In one case, my doctor called it in herself and they still denied receiving it until someone finally located it. The Pharmacist on duty is barely able to be baseline polite and can barely contain her distain or convey the basics should there be an issue (ex: "we need an updated Rx on file"). Rite Aid needs to invest in basic operations and customer service training for their Pharmacy department ASAP. It's an odd contrast for a store with staff cashiers that welcome you as you walk in, and have a sign on the front door that says "spread kindness". And the entire time their Pharmacists are not being polite let alone kind - and are not completing basic operational duties well if at all. I understand we are in a healthcare shortage that includes Pharmacists, but Rite Aid can and should do better to have customer service and bias training for their Pharmacy staff. People are not okay over there. I've tried to stick with it because it's so close to where I live and I want to spend my money in Benicia. But these Pharmacists are making doing basic business near impossible. And? They also give out incorrect information when they do. My doctor has had to call them multiple times to straighten them out and we are both tired of it. I'll be transferring my prescriptions and filing a complaint with corporate. It's really not okay to treat people without respect or dignity, no matter what brand you are.
