I reached out to CVS to help my 86 and 95 year old parents.... and Eva at the Travis Blvd CVS went above and beyond to make it such a pleasant experience. She checked the availability of a product so they wouldn't run all the way there if not! They did have it.... so kudos to this CVS for having sugar free cough medicine for diabetics... but higher praise to Eva for her customer service skills! She made me feel like my parents were important to her and that she truly liked her job of helping her customers! Only a few pharmacy employees are any good at helping anyone. Some actually make reasons to not fill my prescriptions. It ONLY happens when that one person is working. And the rest of the horrible not worthy of any role relating to public employees just make it worse. If they don't want to work then quit. Stop taking it out on people who have valid prescriptions. I've watched the same behavior from the pharmacist that I had today. Multiple times and she still works there but she's allowed to toss my prescription? Horrible. I got a lovely Google response directing me to a link I've already used to try and voice my concerns that basically dismissed ALL care for my feedback and reoccurring trouble with the pharmacy and certain employees who still after 24 hours REFUSE to fill my emergency prescription. Went to the pharmacy and the guy at the counter (Rodger) was super rude. So rude I reported him to the corporate office. I came to pick up my medicine because the day before I received a text asking questions, which I answered when I answered it said my prescription would be ready by 9am. I got there next day at about 11:15am assuming my prescription would be ready because that's what the app told me. I get to the counter and went through the step (name, birthday etc). He said my prescription was not ready I said the app told me it would be ready by 9am. He then ask the pharmacist she was working on it. I said I got information that it would be ready by 9am he then LIED to my face saying the had just got the order. I say no you all received the order yesterday at 9am and I try to show him the text. He said I told you they were working on it and the said it a couple more times. I never really lose control but I did get loud because I hate someone telling me something that I know is not true and why is it taking over 24 hours to fill a prescription when they have 3 people doing it. Just tell me the truth and say sorry were working on it. Not I told you we are working on it and then tell me it will take another 30 minutes. The sad thing is I never ever had a problem with the pharmacy staff, and never gave a 1 star. read more

I went to CVS Travis blvd today to take passport photos but the staff in front was very rude and was not helpful at all and she told me that she can't give service till 6pm cause there was only one staff according to her.I don't know why they have only one staff in that busy time and busy store . Just wanted to give a shout out to the pharmacy team, especially Zayra, when I went here last week! There was a long line for those who had to pick up our meds and she constantly checked up on us and let us know that she and the rest of her co-workers were trying their best to fill our prescriptions, so we can be on our way out. I used to pick up my prescriptions elsewhere and the wait time at other places can take up to a few hours even when there isn't a line. However, Zayra made sure we got in and out within 20-30 mins! I really appreciate that! I haven't seen any of what other customers have experienced at this location. Everyone was polite and tried their best to accommodate our time. Today April 23, I had a family member who was having a medical emergency and denied the restroom. They said the public restroom was closed, but did not allow her to use the employee restroom. Had to pick up a prescription from this CVS and let me tell you, the owners of this franchise should be embarrassed by this location. Pulling up in front, the first thing you notice is a disgusting garbage can spilling trash all over the sticky, unwashed sidewalk. Many of the shelves are empty, when asked, the employees told us that he was the only one on the retail floor and was unable to restock any shelves. I know CVS isn't responsible for the trash humans who dirty up the exterior of this store, but they might want to consider emptying the garbage and pressure washing the sidewalk. After all, shouldn't this be just a little more sanitary since the people who are coming here are often ill or health compromised? read more

I was not impressed with the pharmacy. It's like I'm always putting them out when I come to pick up my prescription. The pick up window was all boarded up when they were open presumably because they don't have enough staff to man it. When I asked if they were closed they looked at me like I was nuts. All the cosmetics are locked up and there isn't enough staffing available to help you when requested. This pharmacy is continuously having issues filling my prescriptions without any problems. When you try to contact them by phone to try to alert them they are processing an prescription that has been recently replaced/updated you can never get through to them. I was waiting for 90 minutes yesterday in phone queue and never got a live person to answer. The drive thru window is closed more often than it is open. I have been a regular pharmacy customer for more than eight years but I am going transfer my prescriptions to another CVS and see if its just this store or the corporate culture. If it doesn't improve there I will move my prescriptions to Costco or Raley's pharmacy. read more

What an unfortunate experience had here at the pharmacy. My sister recently filled a prescription with CVS and picked it up as anyone would. When she got home she realized her daughters inhaler was missing. She wasn't worried as my niece did not need it right away. Fast forward to the next day she goes back to pick it up, let's the employee (Kenzo Mish) know what happened the day before and the first thing out of the employees mouth was "let me check the cameras" which my sister agreed to because they definitely forgot the inhaler. She comes back after some time and tosses the inhaler at her! TOSSES MEDICINE AT A CUSTOMER!?!? I was bewildered when my sister told me what happened because why they would be so upset over a mistake their own staff made. She didn't want to cause problems so she left. We've been trying to get ahold of corporate with zero luck of course! I hope this location's pharmacy gets the proper customer service training they need because if it was an emergency and my niece needed the inhaler right away I absolutely would have not stood for this kind of treatment!!!! As pharmacy staff, please DO BETTER. People come to you for help with illnesses and pain and to treat them this way is beyond me! Avoid this location if you can! read more

Contact the pharmacist. Case 1: CVS advises you must contact the pharmacist for your prescription. Other cases: Only achieved by talking to a pharmacist. PROBLEM: There's no direct route with their dial in system to get to the pharmacist. You can play the game of hitting zero to get there indirectly, if you're feeling lucky. Once you're in the queue for the pharmacist to pick up, you'll listen to music continually interrupted by their vaccine message. They rarely pick up as they're clearly understaffed. You'll be on hold for an hour to no avail. CVS overall needs to fix this service. Why should a pharmacist have to address shipping and billing? Delivery service is hit or miss. Sigh read more

For being tested covid 19 positive and after I isolated myself for t 10 days . I made online appointment at cvs. And appointed the next day . Tested and after 1 whole day I got an email and my test result was confirmed negative. Did my test on their drive through testing procedure. It was simple and straight forward on how to self test yourself with out going inside the store. It was much convenient and fast. Thank you so much for quick and satisfying customer service. It has long since been renamed to CVS Pharmacy. No more Longs. I had shopped here for years, but lately I haven't come to shop. Ever since I moved back in 3rd grade, I come once or twice every few months. (I went today though!) But, I like this store. Before moving, this has been the neighborhood pharmacy where we went to for our many needs, like prescription medications, lotions, school supplies, and even food. They have a lot of things here. We still come for those reasons, but far less often now. They have great staff. They are pretty knowledgeable with what they have at the store. They are also pretty nice too. They really have nice displays, and it is really clean. Depending on the season, whether there are upcoming holidays or not, they always have a big display right when you walk into the store. The price of many things here are a bit higher (compared to Walmart or another supermarket for food and home necessities, and perhaps Office Max for school supplies). If you don't mind paying a bit more, then I guess that's ok. It's a cool store. It's not bad at all. read more

This pharmacy is incompetent. I am sick, and had two prescriptions to be filled that were sent at 530 PM. I sent my mom in to get them at 545, which they said is a 30 min wait. After an hour and 15 minutes she goes up to ask if it's ready, and they checked her out and she left as she thought both were in there (both should be in there right?) she gets home and it's only one. So this time i go there and ask where's my other prescription at, and she said oh it's on hold because you don't have insurance. I do have insurance, they just don't take it. I'll pay out of pocket. Just like the first prescription. She tells me it's another hour wait. Why? Because it's put on hold. Why? Because no insurance. What planet does that even make sense? And you didn't tell the person picking up my prescriptions that or that i have one on hold? Basically y'all screwed up and don't wanna admit it. Jesus please fix it. Idk where these techs got their certifications and customer service skills at but it seems like CVS always scrapes the bottom of the barrel. Now i get to wait 3 hours for a prescription to be filled. So, you've been warned. If you're filling any prescriptions here, make sure to set aside a good 3-6 hours and check your bag before you go since they admittedly don't even look at the prescriptions to be filled. read more

Trash pharmacy. Horrible service. Received a text at 2pm my recurring refill was ready. At 6 pm I came to pick it up and I waited in drive thru line for 30 minutes and they said it was not ready come back in an hour. I explained I received notification of it being ready and said I've waited in line a very long time and pharmacist came to the window and said you have to wait an hour go park. I would expect a more thoughtful solution however I left as advised. When I got to the stop light I received a message saying my prescription was ready Litterally 3 minutes later LOL. WOW! The one star goes to guy at the front register. Here I'm new to town, worked as a former pharm tech in college so I'm a little familiar with how things work behind the scenes. My doc called an RX last week and forgot to call in one important detail. So, I'm going back and forth between calling the Dr's office, my home and CVS. My Dr actually called me to ensure that the pharmacy received the RX. I go back to CVS only to be informed by Dr. Otuyelu that it would take an hour to fill my RX. I tell her that I'll wait, and that did not make her happy. About 30 min. later the pharmacist a.k.a Dr. Bae (?) tells me that my prescription was not going through as my insurance indicated the RX had been filled elsewhere. Elsewhere?! WHERE?! She told me to call the prescribing MD because they would not be able to fill my RX until November 1st. Her tech parroted her instructions, without so much as help call my insurance plan. I phoned my Dr. and went to the other CVS' in my city only to come up empty handed. I called my health plan, and a kind representative informed me that no such transaction from CVS processing my medication had come through their system today. She attempted to process the request and showed no such denial. She phoned CVS in an effort to speak with Dr. Otuyelu and advocate on my behalf. She waited on hold 30 minutes only to be told by CVS staff that it would be a 30-minute wait to speak with the pharmacist. The insurance rep would be unable to hold for that long and encouraged me to call CVS. Well, I attempted to and was on continual hold for 45 minutes. No human came on hold to indicate hey "sorry were closed." This store isn't in the best area of town, and I've seen challenging patients come face to face with some, not all, but some rude techs, but guess what, we are YOUR CUSTOMERS. We ALL have bad days, and WE are ALL forced to do things AT work that we don't like to but it's OUR JOB. WITHOUT US, maybe you wouldn't have a job. So please show some darn courtesy, respect, and most of all DON'T LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. read more
