I'm having surgery tomorrow in Sacramento but I live in Fairfield. My doctor sends the script to my local pharmacy. I leave Fairfield to stay at my mom's house. I'm getting my pills ready for my nightstand. Tylenol? Ibuprofen? Oxycodone? Nowhere to be found. I haven't opened the bag since I picked up my meds. It was still stapled shut when I opened it tonight. The bottle is empty and there's no residue. Either someone is inept or pocketed my pills. Meanwhile, I pray that my surgeon refills it. Edit to add: They messed up but I'm forced to wait on the phone for over 40 minutes. Nice. Update: I'm first in queue and someone goes to pick up the phone but puts me on hold. Still waiting at the hour mark. Update: Waiting for over a hour, told to call back in the morning (well, my surgery is at 4:30 in the morning. I called the number again and asked for the manager so said she would personally walk back to the pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy manager answers. He answers and basically tells me oh well. Staff and management needs to be trained apparently. Had my order ready for pick up email this morning so I came in to pick up my order. Cashier staff "couldnt find it" and asked manager's help. Manager's name is EDWARD. 1. Did not offer ways to help me (a customer) 2. Did not know how to handle this kind of situation. 3. Being sarcastic, said a bunch of other names in their system so apparently violation of privacy, i told him I dont need to know all these people's name, I just came for my order. 4. It's been a bit since I reviewed here, so I figured I would today since I came to pick up medicine. I have to say that the quality of care has improved in the past couple of months. Today, there was a power outage, which was no fault of theirs. But as soon as the power came back on, the pharmacy staff was on top of getting people their medication and in a timely manner as well. The store staff that aren't a part of the pharmacy were very nice despite the stress of a flood of customers after the outage, but they handled it with grace and smiles. The store was clean, and the shelves were tidy. All in all, today was a good day for this store. read more

Before leaving for vacation, my California-based provider sent in two prescriptions, but the pharmacist falsely claimed they weren't submitted. They even questioned why I was on medical insurance instead of TRICARE, which was completely inappropriate and none of their business. After seven days of denials and delays, my medication was finally filled. This experience not only left a bad impression, especially in how they treat active service members, but it also cost me $1,000 in non-refundable plane tickets, preventing me from being home for Thanksgiving. I've been getting my prescriptions from this pharmacy since 2016 and I haven't had a problem with this Walgreens until 2024. Since then, this location has been getting progressively worse, with the past 3 months being the absolute worst experience that has me moving to a new pharmacy. They hang up on you when you try to call, or leave you on hold for literal hours should you have any trouble with your prescriptions and want to ask questions without driving there. They put back your medications constantly (after reassuring you they'll send them out with a verbal contract) when you order them and still charge your insurance, despite never getting them. When you go in to get your prescriptions in person or ask what happened to the online orders you never received, they look baffled like they did nothing wrong. I've even tried talking to the store manager about this directly and he seemed apologetic and sincere but that solved absolutely nothing. This pharmacy is a nightmare and rather scammy, I'm leaving it. Trust them at your own discretion. I've given them more chances than any sane person would have. read more

I like this Walgreens. Located right next to Travis Credit Union and Fairfield High School. The parking lot is obviously shared with the bank. The bank customers will use Walgreen parking ugh...sometimes. Yes, it is a very clean store and feels spacious within. I create a lot of photo projects with them and I am super pleased with the products. My favorite employee is John. Staff is usually friendly here. read more

Pay attention to all the reviews about the pharmacy here. It is super disorganized, and customer service is horrible. The employees seem super burnt out. This is usually related the management, rather than the folks on the ground. I SCHEDULED a vaccine appt, but when I arrived was told the pharmacist who could perform the injection would be gone at lunch for an hour. Huh? Then they tried to blame me, asking "did you just make this appointment?", which I had, but I'm not sure how that was my fault. Had another bad experience when I purchased home COVD test. Purchased and paid for it on line. Notified by text that it was ready. When I went to pick it up they didn't want to give it to me as they were hard to come by. I said they charged it and notified me that it was ready. Went to pick it up and I was told that manager did not want to give it to me. What??? I was SO happy to see that my insurance will let me go back to CVS in mid December. This place has recently opened up in fairfield. The store is very clean on the inside and out, and the prices aren't that bad either! I had a conversation with my bf about not being able to find my facial peel mask anywhere and he suggested Walgreens. I didn't expect a Drug store of all places to carry it, but lo and behold they actually had it! I was so happy! They also had a number of Walgreens exclusive items, such as this Disney Villians Make up set that looks so cute. I want them all! They are currently only on a soft open with a grand opening planned for Oct. 24th. The staff is very friendly and courteous, with the exception of this one employee standing at the front store following everyone around like dogs. He's not a security guard or anything, but it was kind of creepy. I understand though. I don't usually shop drug stores, but this one has the facial peel that I've been looking for (and cheap!) so Ill be back again to purchase more when there is a need. The food items they offer are a little more pricey than a grocery store, but if you are only picking up a few items along with the other pharmacy needs/health & beauty, then it'll be ok. Not too pricey to make you want to go to another store. I suggest everyone take a look at the place before customers wear the store out! Note: There is an error on their grand opening flyer. This has been the worst pharmacy I have ever been too. Customer service is at its worst. Prescription are never ready on time even if you place the order through the app. It's nonexistent when you get there to pick up. They don't make any effort in contacting providers nor for clarifications. This PHARMACY IS A JOKE run by some rude pharmacy techs (jasmine) and to even make matters even worst the pharmacy manager BARRY IS NO HELP. I was able to report this pharmacy to their headquarters and to regional manager and to consumer relations. Hopefully, some action will be taken to make this Walgreens more approachable. read more

Got my RX called in for the first time to this pharmacy, I called to very time the time I could pick up my RX. They girl put me in the system and I received a text message stating my RX was ready a few hrs later. I was able to get my RX without a hustle, fast and easy. Took my daughter for a Covid test and waited in line inside for 20 minutes. No one was in front of us the employee PJ just was doing other things totally ignoring the fact we were even there. Finally she asked us what we needed and we said covid test. She stated it was done through the drive through. No signs anywhere telling us this. PJ was very rude and clearly doesn't like her job. Nicest and cleanest location I've ever been in, of course because it's brand new. The workers are courteous, greet you right away as you enter (at least in my experiences). I like the way this Walgreens is organized compared to the one I frequent in Vacaville. Better selection of items, like the makeup section. Hopefully this location stays like this. Not too typical of my reviews, but I'm going to do this in a pros/cons format: Pros: x Clean, Organized and Spacious. This doesn't look that big on the outside and it definitely isn't on the inside, but because it's cleanliness is completely immaculate and everything is meticulously organized it creates a very spacious environment. x Better Selection. In terms of food, it has a lot of different brands (more well known versus smaller brands) and a wide selection of snacks, beverages and alcohol. The makeup selection is on point though. It helps to have a Walgreen's card because their deals on makeup feel like absolute steals. They also have a pretty extensive toy selection which if you're picking up a quick gift for your kid, is awesome. Cons: x Weird parking lot. Granted, this building does share a parking lot with Travis Credit Union, but it is weird to get into from North Texas or from Atlantic. You have to be a bit careful because you never know when a car coming out of TCU parking lot decides to go through the Walgreens parking lot as their exit. If you don't check all your mirrors when you're driving, it could be a real bumper-to-bumper situation. x Customer service. I've noticed that on the few times I've come into this location that I am greeted by a man standing outside of the beauty section cashier. He says hello, but he doesn't really have a friendly demeanor. It's slightly off-putting because I think he's the manager, but hey, he's managing a quality store so kudos to him. Anyways, there will be no one working at the main cashier even though there are employees stocking the shelves efficiently. When someone is in line, he'll nod to them or say their name and they hurry to the cashier. It can be nice at times if not a little inconvenient. I think it'd be more effective if they just had one person manning the cashier instead of no one. I will be back because it is convenient to my house and you can't beat the deals! read more

This Walgreens is very helpful and quick to assist anyone. We come here anytime we need something even if it's just for a quick stop. The only downside to this is that they don't allow students in the store before 4 o'clock during school days. I don't know if it's meant to prevent stealing or what it's meant to do, but I do believe that they have some of the best customer service. read more

Oh dude, bro... Mina is AWESOME. So I come in today looking for facial scrubs on a whim 'cause Raley's facial cleansers and lotions are ridiculously high priced. Not only is half the stuff that I found in Walgreens marked down but so much more options to choose from. So I'm looking and this woman price marking a ton of stuff says to me that if she was in my way of shopping to let her know. So I'm all... Nah... It's okay. So then I ask her about this "card" that all these sale tags talk about and she tells me it's their rewards card that's absolutely free and is just as similar to a Safeway's card. She told me to ask for her when I'm ready to ring up so that she could help me set up my account and she goes on about this Olay lotion that I picked up. She told how much she liked it and so on. Well anyway... I get card and she tells me that she might have coupons for some of the items in my basket. She pulls out this little box of coupons and finds one for the Olay product (SCORE!). Then she tells me about the sales that they have and that the rewards card is fantastic on savings. She totally schooled me on couponing in five minutes. She's so nice that I've had to re-rate Walgreens cause her service along made me five star this place! read more
