I went to the Vallejo Verizon store to get info on switching over to them. When I got there the parking lot was empty but for one car. A guy got out of the car and went into the store while I was parking. I took a call on my phone and then walked over. There was a security guard outside as I reached for the door he told me I had to wait outside. When I asked why, he said the doors were locked. He crossed his arms and stared me down. No "How are you doing", no "They'll be right with you", no "can I have your name and I'll let them know you are here". Just total, non welcoming rudeness. read more

Still trying to get help from Verizon I have to verify my identity 3-4 times every time I call yet constant changes are being made to my account t and all of my devices are not secure. I just found out yesterday my plan has been changed again! Worst service. Very disappointed. My husband and I were looking to upgrade our iphones to the galaxy z fold 6 today. First, we went to the Napa location and was told they can't help us in person, but over the phone (they'll be receiving a separate review). So we called customer service and spoke with someone on the sales team. We were able to get our phones upgraded and processed just fine. Paid over $500 for the upgrade to be complete. We have all receipts and proof payment has been made and our phones will be at the Vallejo Verizon location, ready for pickup within an hour. 4 hours roll by and we get a call from the manager at this location, stating they can't fulfill the order and suggest to cancel the entire order. We drove by (since we live 5 minutes away) to see what was going on. Apparently, it shows in their system the order is there, but the manager said something is not letting him fulfill the order. They ended up cancelling the entire order and said we can process the order again, but need to pay the sales tax again. We decided to wait until our refund comes in. We called customer service and the customer care representative told me it must've been a terms and conditions issue that wasn't fully completed and could have been done in store and easily fixed IF the Vallejo Verizon store called and asked about the problem. So from my understanding, its pure LAZINESS of the workers there. Customer care support said they had no record of them even calling and they should've called so we could get our phones today. So, my point? They're LAZY and were just so adamant on us cancelling our order. If you didn't want to sell the phones so maybe you can get them yourselves, tell us so we can go to a different location. My husband and I will never return to this location. Be careful, I was a Verizon customer for years. Called Verizon to change phone providers, was reassured repetitively that I was not going to owe any money moving forward. Next thing I know I'm waking up to an email saying I owe $440 in ten days. I went to this store to figure things out (due to the fact it is impossible to get ahold of someone and if you do they either transfer you or hang up on you) and have this issue addressed. While I was on the call trying to understand what switching carriers would entail, I was reassured for over an hour throughout this call that I was in good standing with Verizon and now I'm getting bills saying otherwise. The store was unable to help me and basically did nothing to help me due to the bill being "valid." I'm sure it was but if I was informed during the call where I spent over an hour preventing something like this from happening, I wouldn't have moved forward with switching providers) Supervisor at the Vallejo location was nice but kindness does not do much in this situation. Please be mindful if you're not in a position to just get random massive bills in the mail. Keep in mind I paid my bill of $90 every month on the 5th for years. Never skipped, never late, never an issue. I paid what I thought would be the last bill to Verizon to leave the company and got 100% scammed. Oh let's not forget I called every phone number listed for Verizon and either got transferred or hung up on every single time to the point I had to schedule an appointment in the store just to speak to someone about this. Showed for a simple question and got skipped twice. After interjecting when they helped the 3rd customer who came in, Their first responese is "on no worries!" What do you "mean no worries?" I was tbe one who got ignored and skipped. Wtf man telling me not to worry. Why did the other people who came after me got helped? I was standing near the front door and shit after i got skipped the first time. So the second time i just got ignored. They apologized after invoiced why i got skipped? Spoke to very rude employee name Jerrick at Verizon regarding the bill they send me for $661.75. They told me they charge me $280.00 for high spend internet when we went on a vacation to Cabo San Lucas. I told him that I have a confirmation saying it's free for unlimited plan. I ask to speak to someone else beside him. He refused to transfer my call to the manager or the supervisor on duty. He said I can split my bills in 2 payments. I told him that I have Unlimited plan why am I getting charge for it but he was not listening... I have been Verizon Customer for more then 21 years and the service is gone down the hill. And the security stepped aggressively in for no reason very aggressive perhaps because I am a 65 year old woman and his partner supported him although she saw me on Saturday when they took me in to help me. I came here to this location to pay my bill. I will say that I came here and got out quick. The service will amazing. I had my questions answered and they were polite by greeting me. I didn't need to get a phone but just pay my bill. This location is good. Not as packed as the other location I gone to. When I came to this location did not see much people shopping around. This applies only to the Vallejo Verizon store, not on Verizon customer service or tech help online or landline. We had new smart phones that did not function correctly. The phones were fine. It was a set of issues caused by Verizon staff at remote sites who made changes that destroyed our long term accounts to the point they would not function. The technical expert here was clearly the manager, Samantha. There were so many issues with our account that she had to spent considerable time over 3 different days sorting it out. Not only was she patient with us as she balanced working on our issues, but also greeting arriving customers and monitoring her employees to insure everyone was performing at a high level. Honestly, I was incredibly impressed and appreciative. I understand enough to be aware of how frustrating this had to be for Samantha but she never once allowed that stress to show. I will add that my wife and I made a point of arriving early in the day when it was quieter. There is no doubt that helped us not have to wait to be helped and I'd suggest to anyone needing service to arrive early in the day if you can. In terms of the issues that required so much time to resolve that's entirely on Verizon online and their customer service setup. TERRIBLE. From what I can determine Verizon has software issues, but more important, their cs staff and tech people are at best INEPT. During the course of a failed phone and changing over to new smart phones the cs landwire people managed to screw my account up so badly that it took several hours for their smart, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable manager at the Vallejo facility to finally sort our issues out. This never should have happened. On the other hand Verizon still has the best real world coverage and that has kept me a customer for decades. I hope they will improve their customer service via www and landline, as that is what they push customers to do when experiencing issues. Last, this review is specific to their manager, Samantha. Came in this morning because I had an issue with my iPhone XR's charging port leading me to believe I'm in need of a fix or a new phone. I have a newer Samsung Note that I was going to just switch to just have them switch over to. Instead, Orlando took my iPhone XR and did some troubleshooting which revealed a wad of dust that was caked inside of the charging port and he resolved my issue. My phone was charging normally without having to rig the cable a certain way to keep it charging like I was use too. I saved money and I appreciate him using critical thinking skills because even if my charging port was broken, he first recommended me to use a wireless charging pad. I was told by online customer service rep that I can get help with retuning items at this corporate store. When I got this store the staff and manager(female) were telling me different story saying that they can't help with return. They were both were very rude and the manager resisted to help with online order return. I explained that I was confirmed by customer service rep that store team can accept and help but the store manager kept saying that you need to call costumer service again. I requested if she can call them for me to verify but she insisted that she won't do it for me. She told me "You should call and speak to the customer service". She didn't show any intention to help or to respond to my request. And when I brought up the conflicting information the staff was telling me, she responded "You don't understand what I was saying" instead of trying to listen carefully on customer's point and clarifying the conflicting info. Spent two days at a Yuba City Verizon store (near Walmart) trying to get my iPhone problem fixed (Voice Mail quit working). After two 3hour trips to their horrible store, they were unable to fix it. I took it to a Verizon Store in Vallejo (Admiral Callaghan Ln) and a guy named Orlando had me out the door in 15 minutes with my phone working. He was so professional (unlike the guy in Yuba City). I would love to give "no star" to this business. I find that they are unscrupulous and lacking moral principles. They are not above taking advantage of individuals who clearly lack understanding of their "pitch". A family member of mind was a customer. She suffers a mild/moderate disability resulting in some developmental delays. This is clear after some conversation with her. Despite this, Verizon allowed her to charge a considerable amount of merchandise. When the costs became overwhelming and she was unable to keep up with the payments, they refused consider making reasonable arrangements for repayment. They refused to accept any responsibility for the obvious miscommunication. My company sent a Verizon iPhone14 to replace my AT&T iPhone8. All went fine until the eSIM activation because the Verizon transfer system went down (about 36 hours) Well when it came up I tried again and was stuck with two phones without cell service. Went in and explained my situation and she told me I would have to wait over an hour, so like a chump I did, I need cell service for my job. Then it came my turn and the same woman who checked me in said " oh I'm sorry we can't do that you have to talk to your IT department". Which I replied "isn't there someone else here who can handle this" and she said " I'm the one who has been here the longest and know the most. Arrrrg. Later over by my work I decided to try the Verizon store in Corte Madera. I waited 5 minutes for Carlos to finish with a customer and he understood my situation, got on his iPad looked trough my corporate account to find the eSIM number and wam-bam I got cell coverage within 10 minutes. my wife and I walk into this store on January to switch service and the guy who attend us like all sale person try to get us into different deals and I was always clear we don't want anything but the sim card to start using the service well he give us the sim card and as we were going to transfer the number he said it is a promotion and that we will get a $250.00 visa card witch we did but we he was talking about is we don't have any contract or anything attach to this because all we getting is the sim card as we have our own phone we say we can move or remove this before or after we get the visa card but now as the charges are so high we cancel it after three months and went back to the store to cancel to get pay as you go i spoke to the person there and I said what is the balance to be paid so we have nothing to do with this account any more and we paid what the guy said so we thought good we cancel it without any problems and got the pay as you go. American canyon verizon store is actually cellular sales store that sells phones, gadgets, verizon contracts. They are not verizon corporate store. If you trade in your phone you can not cancel it even while you are still in the store to cancel transactions. Its final!!! I learned the hard way. I could have done the trade online. Im saying this because of my experience at the store with that particular person. Go trancas verizon corporate store a little busy but you will be taking care of there and will be happier. So I tried to order my niece a iPhone 7 online and I was having difficulties I had to call customer service and when I called customer service I got a lady named "Beautiful" she was very nice, very helpful, and she walk me through the process. We talked and laughed. She set everything up for me so that I could pick up my nieces new iPhone 7 at the store: this was around 11:40am. She told me to wait two hours and I would get an e-mail from the Verizon store in Vallejo on Admiral Callaghan. Its finally 3pm and still no work from Verizon so we decided to go up to pick up the phone before the store closes. When I get there, the lady who greets the customers approached us, she never gave us her name, and I told her I was suppose to get a text to pick up my iPhone 7 but I did not so I am here, and she looked at her tablet and said, "Alaya White", O'I have not processed it yet, and I said, "I made the purchase over 3 hours ago, I'm here I would like my iPhone please". She tells us it would be a few minutes, and it wasn't long. She checked my card and I'd, and handed me the phone just by itself and then said, "O' you wanna bag" I replied "Well of course" and she said that's it. I told her that I needed to cancel my iPad out and merge the iPhone line, she looked at me and was said "I don't know, and I don't wanna mess anything up.....so". I said "It's alright, and I called the customer service rep" and she said she would call me back as soon as my account unlocks. Worst service ever. Been a Verizon customer for many years. Had lots of different phones and upgrades. The stores have always been helpful when upgrading and take care of making sure my new phone is operational and all my data migrates. Is it too much to ask when I pay hundreds a month and then another big chunk of change for a new phone to help me out? Obviously too much of a hassle for the Vallejo store. I got my new phone handed to me in a bag. I asked about activating it and helping me make sure everything transferred over. A 5-10 minute process at most. I was told that I would have to check in again and be placed at the end of the line. The line was about 10 people long. Grabbed my phone and left. I got everything working fine between google and various forums, but that is BS. Take five minutes and provide some customer service! read more

Went into store and bought 2 LG Velvet phones. Mario is the rep who helped us. He put down our apartment number wrong so fedex couldn't deliver the next day. Called FedEx to update our apt number but needed Verizon to call. Mario lied to us all day saying they couldn't get through! I called FedEx 5 times that day and had no problem reaching customer service!! Went to Verizon again and asked Mario to just call. He said he had tried. I tried to return a protective cover and a3 in 1 charging station for our new iPhone 13s we upgraded to in the store. returned 3 accessories yesterday. It took about 45 minutes for the associate to do the return. Went to store today to return 2 more accessories. Same associate another 20 minutes to return one item. According to associate he was having trouble finding charger to return it even though I had the printed receipt and emailed receipt it would not show on his device. I said I want it done today. He went to assistant manager for help. Came back said I need to come back tomorrow so assist manager could talk with manager to try and fix problem. I told assist manager to perhaps contact his support team at Verizon to fix problem. He said I could contact mine at Verizon. Lost it at that point. Every time I have gone to this location it's always a slow process. The turnover of associates is staggering. It's a beautiful new store, with plenty of parking, located on the edge of the Vallejo "shopping district". In-store customer service: 4 stars. The saleswoman did all she could to revive my broke-back Droid Pro. She was polite and helpful. On another visit, a hip young guy hooked up my employer-based discount with ease. (Ask a rep! You might qualify!) Phone customer service: ZIP-PO stars! The man, whose name I wish I could recall, shatted all over my Christmas cheer when he told me he was "really too busy" to check the store's inventory of basic phones. I'm sorry, but I get the whole idea of in-store customers being a priority- I have worked in customer service too- but if you think phone customers have absolutely NO priority, then why even answer? Why not just have a recording? I would have accepted being placed on hold and took my chances, but to tell me to call back "some other time" and not even offer to place me on hold for something that would have probably taken all of 5 key strokes- not acceptable. DO NOT buy from here!! The salesmen here will lie to you just to get a sale. I went in to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S3. I explicitly told them from the very beginning I was looking for the 32GB version. The sales guy said they did not have any in the store and it would have to be ordered. "Hmmm...be honest and lose a sale or lie and get my commission?" Well he chose option 2. He told me the 32GB S3 is just a 16GB (internal) phone that comes with a 16GB (external) sD card. I thought that didnt sound right but this was the latest and greatest phone out so I thought they would have been trained on all the specs so I trusted him. Couple weeks later I find out the 32GB actually comes with 32GB of INTERNAL storage. I went in and told the manager and he said there is nothing they can do about it. Learned something new today. My phone wasnt working all morning, since 11 last night. Couldn't turn it off, nothing. Went to the Verizon store, dreading news that I'd have to come out the pocket. Nice guy named Halston, who was the manager of the store, came to check me in. I told him my problem, gave him my phone. Had it back up and running within 10 seconds! I gave Halston the biggest hug. And yelled "you da man, you da shit!!" In the store so everyone heard me! Moral of the story kids: If you have one of these new fangled phones that dont come with a battery, you hard boot it by pushing down the power and volume down buttons at the same time for 10 seconds.
