Erick, one of the mangers here at Verizon was not helpful in helping me resolve any solutions. My issue was simple: I have a Apple iPhone 6 locked under Verizon Network. I asked him how I could use it for my network--AT&T-- and as soon as that was revealed, he knew I didn't care to spend any money or set up a Verizon account so his efforts soon diminished. After explaining my issue, Erick didn't even offer me to speak with any representatives nor did it seem like he was genuinely trying to help me resolve my phone issue. It felt like he was trying to just rush me out more than trying to help me seek a possible solution. Throughout this condescending conversation, I came to the conclusion that because I didn't want to earn him any commission, I wasn't going to receive any help. After having several positive experiences with Verizon's customer service, how can the store be so crushingly disappointing? I don't think I was there for even five minutes. I had been on the phone with Verizon's customer care team who helped me manage an exception with my account in order to get me a new phone. When they had inventory issues, it was suggested I should stop by a store to see if they'd be able to handle the exception for me and give me a new phone on the spot instead. The Verizon rep on the phone took some notes on my account and gave me the address of this store. I show up and attempt to explain the situation. The rep at the store says he'll look at my account and see what he can do. He shortly returns and poorly explains a misinterpretation of the notes on my account that are written very clearly and concisely. I tell him he's wrong, and even point to the notes that describe what he's trying to explain. He dismisses what I say and tells me there's nothing he can do (which isn't true, as the rep I spoke with over the phone explained they should be able to handle the exception at the store). He already spoke with his manager, so he can't help me. The true problem I have is the lack of effort. The store was nearly empty, but there was no effort to help me out with my very approachable situation. They didn't even seem at all interested in providing me with real service. I felt more like I was being ushered out as soon as possible than anything else. read more

Great customer service up until the point you have to wait to add a line yo your plan and you have to use the restroom and they won't let you use theirs. They'll send you Chipotle next door. Doesn't matter how much you spend per month, how much money they could make off commissions, no bathroom, even for paying customers. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about this Verizon location. I went in on Saturday because I was having issues with the battery life on my phone. I was helped by Ric and a very pretty Hawaiian/Filipina girl . I can't remember her name:( They were so helpful, nice and explained the process. It turned out I needed to replace my phone but not once did I feel preasured. They also helped me transfer the contents of my old phone to the new once. The staff at this location is A+++ read more

Ok....so we all know cell phones are basically a necessity and we all feel carriers get over no matter what...especially cause there is really no such thing as a free phone anymore, but it is what it is. I must admit our last few visits to our Verizon we have in town have been pretty good...outside the wait, but when they are with you they take their time, they are real with you and by the end of all of our visits we were taken care of. Charls, yes that is spelled correctly....is amazing! He is super honest & will totally take care of you. I love it...being real is amazing! He is the man to see...I'm sure the others are good & we have spoken to a few & they were nice....but Charls is for sure going to take care of you. Oh BTW it's a love hate relationship with Verizon for about 14 years now, but this last visit makes it that much better! read more

We needed a new wifi hotspot-- AT&T was a huge ripoff... so we went with the 'BEYOND UNLIMITED DATA PLAN' with Verizon. Well, I guess they use a different dictionary than I do: "un·lim·it·ed adjective not limited or restricted in terms of number, quantity, or extent." Well, it is VERY limited. They give you a measly 15 gb, and then throttle you back to 640 kbs!! Yes, that is 'KBS', less than one MEGABYTE. So, each month you could basically watch two or three HD movies, and after that, check your email--period. I ran through the "UN-Limits in two or three days, and it basically stopped. Yes, I could still check email, and kind of web browse (if you don't mind watching images scroll line by line in your browser). BIG FAT LIARS! This is ripe for a class action lawsuit. Took it back and paid the $35 re-stock fee. read more

Came in around 6:20, saw I had about 6 people ahead of me and told it was going it was going to be a 15-20 minute wait. It seemed everyone was totally dragging their feet. I got help at 7:40, and was told that if I was going to add a line I would have to upgrade my plan and kept suggesting that I go unlimited even though I stated multiple times I didn't want that. I ended up getting out of there after 8 without getting any solutions. read more

Great customer service today from Lily. Had problems activating an iPhone 4 I bought direct from Apple through apple.com. Lily wasted no time, got to the bottom line in a few minutes, said basically I needed a new phone, we could keep trying but it wouldn't make any sense, said the fastest way to get me a working phone was to get one from Verizon directly and reassured me that others have had this problem and were able to return their Apple-bought iPhone into an Apple brick and mortar store. That last detail may or may not be correct (I was successful in returning mine to a local store today, but only after significant effort convincing the Apple store employee). She offered to monitor the porting process and gave me a call later that day to say the port would be completed tomorrow afternoon. Overall a very good experience. Significantly better than trying to deal with either Apple or Verizon Wireless over the phone. read more

The Verizon team at this location is awesome! My husband and I both got new phones yesterday and were helped by D'angelo. He was incredibly patient with us as we had several questions about upgrading and adding me to my husband's plan. I initially had some concerns because I was changing service carriers and also trading in my Samsung for an iPhone. D'angelo was beyond helpful and made the process very easy for us. I came into Verizon with my elderly mom who can barely walk. A gentleman named Mario came outside and greeted us and immediately held the door and grabbed her a chair once inside. Well let's start by saying I don't pay any mind to control freaks and selling pitches that lack customer service. I've been there done that. When I went in to this store I knew what we wanted and we even decided Brian was nice enough to walk us through some watches. The watches fit what we needed and what we were looking for. My mom needed a new phone and we wanted to move her number over from sprint-at&t. Since we weren't getting much help over the phone with Sprint we decided it was best we drove up the street to the store to gain the information we needed to make our purchase at at&t. Brian let's us know he'd hold our items for us and would help us when we got back. 20 minutes later we get back and Brian let's us know he was busy and that he would have his "manager" take over the transaction. We didn't think it would be a problem since Brian had went through everything with us and we just needed to sign and seal. Nope. Boy was I wrong. This guy "so called manager" comes over "appears" to be nice, helpful, and says he's like to just run through our purchase and make sure nothing was missed. He then attacked my mom as to why she chose what she chose, then went after me about why I'm not upgrading, and after answering his foolish and inconsiderate questions we get to the process of activating our devices. He let's us know the charge to activate and I tell him our activation codes are waived so he says "I didn't approval any waiver for activation codes and I'm the manager. I would know." I said well were not paying for activation I've already been promised that. He gets up from the table and says well I'll go ask Brian about this. I stopped him right there....LOOK if you have to go over to someone and not take our word for it and have a complete and utter control issue here my business with you is done. Dude totally killed the sale. Not only did he kill the sale, he made my mom so mad she even gave him a piece of her mind. That guy is a total asshole. We had a hard time just trying to forget such a terrible experience. Brian took care of us, knew what we wanted, and was there to provide great customer service. We left. I will have everyone know later that day Brian called me to see if there was anything he could do and let us know the idiot manager was wrong and we do receive waived activation fees. Due to the form of contract we have we have no activation fees but idiot manager was so consumed in being a control freak he didn't even look. Lesson learned. I'll call Brian if we ever need to upgrade, but I honestly hope that the people who work at this location are not being abused like we were by their manager. Upon entering the store I was greeted promptly by several smiling professionals; good feeling. I wasn't treated any differently when the gent realized I only wanted a phone charger. Nice, open, clean setting, but chairs? Hmmmmm...Anyway, they didn't have the charger I wanted, but offered me one that charged via my car lighter that cost $29.99. The good thing is I looked on line and found it on Amazon for $1.99-yes, your eyes are seeing it correctly! Even w/tax and shipping it came to a tad over $4!! Went in to ask questions about when the new Blackberry Q10 would launch. I was told there was no such phone and that the newest blackberry phone is the Z10. I tried to advise this young man about the new phone, but he was so sure of himself that there was no such phone coming out for blackberry. After reading some of the reviews on here either this young man really had no knowledge of the new products Verizon will be obtaining in the future or he was trained to lie to customers about future products so he can push the current ones. Me and my wife have been to this store a few times now since its been opened, but we've only conducted business once in this store with a very kind woman who was willing to take her customer service to the next level. I had a very good experience at this store this week. The store is new and huge with easy parking. The customer service was excellent. I had visited 3 other Verizon stores over the previous 2 weeks, and this is the only place that I felt really taken care of. Chris was very knowledgeable and did not pressure me in any way to buy a phone. He helped me with what I asked for, which was to compare the droids side-by-side in order to choose an upgrade. These people are not very helpful. After having 3 failed remanufactured phones with in one year, the manager can only offer me another remanufactured phone (free) or an upgraded version of my phone (remanufactured) for like $170. I was floored... I asked "why should I have to pay for a remanufactured phone? Upgraded version or not? Why am I paying this $6.99 a month for Total Equipment Coverage?" Basically, after pitching a fit, speaking to Verizon customer service on the phone; these were my only options. I mean REALLY??? 3 failed phones within one year and you can't replace it with a better or new phone without me paying you? And not to mention, an early upgrade was NOT an option; no matter how much I argued. Needless to say, I had to walk out because I was soooooooo angry and they made me feel like my business was worth anything to them. I cannot tell you how angry I was....... I had to call the next day to close my account as I was just done with....... After cooling down, I visited another store that I've dealt with before and loved their service. With their advice, I was able to get my problem solved. For now, I will continue to be a Verizon Wireless customer but I will NEVER go back to this store. Went in to choose a new cell phone. The models i was interested were locked down. Asked if I could handle one because i'm a tactile shopper and plus it's a personal device i should be able to feel it out. Julius didn't seem interested in helping me handle one, would've had to buy it (per Julius) to be able to handle it. Plus, the floor plan is terrible and at least half the products are missing info cards, i.e., the name of the device. read more

Reggie did not help at all. My father and I went in to get a new phone as mine was messing up, I was not due for an upgrade and was will to buy the new phone. He kept pushing for me to just get a refurbished phone to replace the one I had. After waiting for over 45 minutes Reggie seemed like he just wanted to get off and offered no help other then telling me I could order a replacement phone. I went to Best Buy across the street and they were able to help me get a new phone. I am never coming to this location ever again. From here on out I will be going to Best Buy. This review isn't for the Vallejo store but Verizon Wireless nationally - whoever answers the phone when you call the 888 number. I bought two phones today online - a major pain as are most online transactions. I thought it odd that they ask for my SS number. I buy many things online but have never been asked for that personal info. I gave it just the same, ordered what I needed and got an email confirmation. My phones were supposed to be here tomorrow I was told. I get a call a few hours later from an 888 number asking me to call that number on behalf of Verizon for some reason. I was annoyed. I'm not into calling strangers, waiting through their idiotic phone system and answering the questions I just answered online. I finally get to speak with someone and he asks me what the call was regarding. Having no sense of humor about my time being wasted, I answered "You called me, what do you need." He asked me for my SS number to look me up and then began to ask a series of questions for verification purposes. The questions were all a little weird but I stopped when he asked me for "two relatives of the same name that don't live with me." Me: Why do you need that? Verizon: It's part of our verification process. Me: How would you know if they're my relaitves? V: We have a system that will tell us. Me: I'm not going to give you that information, it's none of your business. This is BS, let me talk to your supervisor. V: Please hold. A few minutes go by, same person returns. The supervisor is busy helping other customers, may I have them call you back within twenty four hours? Me: So let me get this straight - you wont sell me a phone unless I tell you the names of my relatives? V: That's part of our verification process. I'm now waiting to see if these morons call me back. I have no intention of giving them this private information. I've bought many things online and the only thing I've ever had to give an SS number for is buying my house! I've never been asked for the names of relaitives. Went to buy my wife a new Razr phone and the sales person was extremely helpful. She gave me all of the details of the phone compared to the Droid Incredible and that information was the selling point. Would give a one if possible, whent to upgrade phone and the sales associate tells me that I $450 dollars in loyalty cash for being with verizon for so long and paying my bills on time and she continues to tell me that it can be used for any purchases. I've been eyeing a tablet for sometime and she told ne that I would not have to pay anything out of pocket other than the $10 charge to add a line, I repeatedly asked her what's going to be charged to my account (6+times), nothing she replied everytime. So basically this snake account charged everything and since the charges didn't post until next billing cycle which was way over the 14 day return policy, she basically lied thru her teeth to make a sale and get some commission. Be aware of this place and her, she a short mexican girl with curly brown hair, will be posting name later. read more

After calling, I was told they had a new phone in stock however this was apparently not the case once I showed up. Even though I was there 40 minutes later, they claimed they had already sold the phone. Had I not lived so close, I would have been even more pissed. When the employee said she would have to check with the manager about a couple of questions I asked, she walks over to him and he proceeds to ask her why I couldn't just go to best buy to buy a new phone. The "manager" was literally 7 feet away from me, why couldn't he just ask me himself? He was only a few feet away from me, I could hear everything. Before leaving this store, they also provided me with incorrect advice as the next verizon store I went to (in Fairfield) proved them wrong by allowing me to do exactly what they said I could not. Once again, terrible customer service from this store. I felt more like I was being interrogated at the store since the manager apparently could only speak to me via 3rd party. Overall verizon has terrible customer service but I can't leave them since they are the only carrier to get reception at my house. read more

Purchased 2 cords for my ipad a couple of weeks ago. A week later one of the cords broke. When I took it back to get a replacement I was told that I was out of luck. Apparently the cord is infallible and if it breaks it is only because of abuse. After spending thousands of dollars with Verizon for 4 phone and monthly service for years I'm stupidied to be treated like a moron and shown the door over a $35 cord. The manager at Verizon was no help at all. I took my Network extender into his store because I was told I hadn't reregistered it. The manager looked up my ID numbers and told me the Network Extender wasn't mine. He told me he couldn't do anything for me. I went to the Santa Rosa Verizon store where they looked up my ID number and came to the conclusion that my Extender had been a refurbished extender and Verizon had used the ID number on another Extender. They took my Extender back and gave me a new one and reregistered it for me. How Great it was to be treated with respect and given great service. I will never go back to the Vallejo store again. read more

Went to this locations in Vallejo Friday, sign on door says they are open Memorial Day until 6:00 p.m. Drove by about 2 hours ago heading to Lowes, I saw several cars in the parking lot and even witnessed someone walking into the store. Just tried to call there a couple minutes ago, put up with an exhaustive recording to finally get a recording stating they were closed for the holiday and resume regular business hours on Monday, November 24th. WTF? I just want a question answered and have to put up with an extensive answering machine that hasn't been updated in 6 months or longer and not be able to speak to anyone. read more

This Verizon Wireless Store is a great asset to the community. This brand new store was newly constructed. They offer the latest and greatest in wireless technology. I recently had an an issue when I lost my iPhone 5. One of the store managers Eric was extremely helpful and helped to resolve my issue quickly and effectively. He went above and beyond to resolve my issue. He handled my situation with a great professional attitude. He is a huge asset to Verizon Wireless and he made me a customer of this store for life. During my visit I was introduced to a very helpful and knowledgeable salesman named Charles. His expertise and great attitude will keep me coming back. I have been a customer of Verizon wireless for a long time and this experience confirmed that I made the right choice choosing Verizon at my wireless carrier. read more

Yesterday Jayce was so patient with my melt down over my "broken Iphone". She discovered I had broken my earbud plug into the phone and that is why I did not hear anything! She was able to fish out the broken piece and send me on my way within minutes. This Verizon store is the best! Wonderful staff and not as busy as my local El Cerrito store. I called Verizon early this morning to see if I was eligible for early and upgrade they said yes they wanted me to do it over the phone but I asked if I could go into the store verizon said yes I get there in the sales representative when starting to argue with me I told him its in my notes it says I was eligible for upgrade then he went to go ask the manager if I could upgrade they both said no I cannot upgrade I sat in the store and called Verizon Wireless and I am still waiting to see what is going to happen I finally left the store in disappointment I will never ever go back to that store they do not have good customer service if I was you I would not go to that store!!!! read more
