This corporate-owned Verizon store's the real deal. As many stores these days are branded non-corporate Verizon's (typically bad). The non-corporate versions are just product pushers and fee-structured support outlets. Upshot? Seek out the corporate-owned stores such as this one. After striking out at one of the wanna-be stores, I came here to this store across from Solano-Westfield Mall. I was lucky to be helped by store management associates Ruben and Alondra. Both beyond knowledgeable and capable associates versed in all matters Verizon. They helped me set up a replacement phone from one that had been determined defective by Verizon. Verizon may not have the cheapest plans out there, but their products, service and support can't be beat. Thank you to this store and their great associates. read more

Wonderful store! The Young rep that had helped me was Kelsey. I had broken my phone on Friday the 13th and went to get an insurance claim on it. I went in and she had helped me out with getting a replacement. The original replacement had came in with some problems, got a new replacement. Over the past week, we've been dealing with connection errors, and transfer issues. We even made several calls to customer support to see if we missed anything. Then earlier this morning (as of this rating) the replacement worked perfectly. 10/10 would recommend. read more

One of the worst experiences ever at Verizon, Ulysses the alleged specialist only specializes in being rude and sarcastic, spent 50 minutes in this store and couldn't get no assistance no help and what really kills me is doesn't even know the product or services he's pitching. Even when I asked how many on hand does he have on such said device because I needed to buy a few for work and didn't want to go to another location he told me since it's the last hour they lock everything up and their is no way to determine quantity levels at this time. Went in for upgrades and we came out feeling scammed. They charged us a "service" fee and said we need to turn in the phones we are trading in and if they arent accepted as trade in we would need to come back to the store to pay off the old phones. As we were leaving the wife and i thought it was funny our "service" fee was the same price as the remaining balance on our phones. What we later found out through an ACTUAL Verizon and not third party store is that we did pay off the old phones and there was no history of us trying to do a upgrade in their system. So if we had already payed the phones off what we were going to go back to "payoff"??! Additionally they wanted to upsell us $600 of accessories!! So with the "service" fee and accessories our bill walking out the door was looking at about $800+ dollars. They told us if we didnt buy the EXACT NON APPLE 24w charger and cable they had at the store for our new APPLE IPHONES battery would swell up. Saying we are going to back with broken iphones because we didnt listen to them. The manger gave us a hard time, basically criticizing us, for refusing his obviously ridiculous upselling attempt. Even went as far as saying all the other stores in the mall have sh*tty cases that break easily. NEVER COMING TO THIS STORE AGAIN! read more

30 years ago we had Verizon and it was wonderful. We switched to AT&T when we got our IPhones. But wanted to switch back to Verizon, which we did 3 years ago. What a mistake!!! Verizon is the worst! NO customer service at all!! No way to speak to a human!!! I rwas on hold yesterday for 37 min then was disconnected. Then 50 min and disconnected again. After calling back and being on hold for an hour and 45 minutes I hung up. I would give them a ZERO RATING if I could . Great experience I was greeted kindly and helped by chris. Although I had to wait Chris updated me on timing which kept me in the store. I think that was very considerate. I had been carrier shopping all day and I was bothered by the different companies who tried to sell me more than what I was asking for but once I went into Verizon I told Chris what l was looking for, and assisted on getting just that. He also let me know about the other options but proceeded to give me exactly what I was asking for without a debate on anything else! Just that alone made me want to switch to Verizon! Chris was very patient , very understand with my detailed request and every question i had. I usually do not like being in stores for so long but I didn't mind being in Verizon for this long. Next day I return to turn in my old phone because I had gotten a new one with the Verizon since the customer service and carrier was so good. The experience the first time I came into this store was great! The employee was wonderful with helping upgrade my phone, transfer information between ohones, and pick out my accessoriee. I realized later that the screen protector did not cover the whole screen, and decided to try it out. My issue is it blocks the sides of the keyboard and other things needing the edge of the screen. I went back to the store after returning from vacation. The employee who originally helped me was nice when I went in, but turned very rude after I said I wanted to return the screen protector. He had me talk to another employee who said yes, I can still return the screen protector as long as it's within 30 days. Went back to the store with the help receipt and packaging a different day. Talked to a different employee, and then was told that I could only exchange the cover for something else. That is different than what the other employee said, and that the other employee wouldn't be able to do anything different. Store manager doesn't work until after the 30 day mark. Now I'm stuck with a $60 screen protector that doesn't cover the whole screen and makes using the keyboard difficult (because they don't have any other kind). I don't plan to go in this store again (except to attempt to resolve this issue one last time). The service was good the first time, but same employee turned rude once I tried to return something. Update: Long story short the district manager promised us a BOGO deal and store manager at the time told us it would take a few months for all to clear on our bill. Lies!!! It has been over half a year and this problem is still NOT resolved! We are paying for two phones and so far this issue has NOT been resolved by the district manager. Easy to get a hold of him to make a sale, but not easy to get a hold of him to fix the issue! I'll give this issue a few more days to be resolved before I take it legal actions and the contact the Better Business Bureau. read more

The absolute worst phone experience I've ever experienced. Was lied to several times in what my amount would be etc. the service is horrible and for ONE LINE on my third month of service I'm paying nearly $300 per month. When I obviously ask why in the hell my bill is so outrageous they give the run around and you get no answers. Any other company has easy to reach customer service but with these people you will be on hold for hours and still get nowhere. All they care about is their sales commission PERIOD. even the "supervisors" I'm trying my absolute best to leave this scamming ass company. Save your time and patience and go else where. Long story short, ordered a phone, was told it would get there within 2 days called to follow up on the order and nothing. Called again some lady told me it would be there on the weekend and nothing. Come the weekend I call and the person I spoke to was nice until I asked him if they can cancel my order because it was taking too long and I need a phone because mine is hanging from a thread and they told me there was no update on delivery time or where it was at. I told him each person keeps giving me a different day and he said they are having a delay in deliveries and they hadn't seen anything like this since Christmas time. He told me he can cancel the order when it's received and then I can go to a different location to buy one. Which was rude as f. I would have appreciated a heads up when I ordered my phone. Here is 12 days later and still no phone. I just got off the phone with Angelo who was the person that helped me place the order and he said he didn't know where my order was. I had to call customer service took me about an hour to get my order canceled. Seriously save you the trouble and go else where to an actual Verizon store. The store in Gateway Plaza, doesn't do this. We got in the store close to closing time on a Sunday. I decided I want to upgrade my iPhone 8plus to the iPhone XS Max if I was eligible to upgrade so I went in with my boyfriend and Luis was the first one to greet us and help me out with my plan. He was very patient with all my questions and answered all of them matter of fact. He never rushed us out to help the next customer which was extremely helpful. But the best part of my experience with Luis was that he was always completely honest with me about the phone and plan i was asking about. Never once did he try to upscale me. This place is a joke and the management is just as clueless as the employees. My husband went in to rerun a phone case I had gotten 17 days ago. Yes I understand the return policy is 15 days but when you spend 50 dollars on a phone case and it turns yellow within 17 days there should be an exception. The only reason I didn't make it within the 15 days was because of the fires going on and I couldn't leave the house with my kids. In the end they finally returned it after fighting with them. After listening to the manager say clear cases all turn yellow all of them right after you buy them. Maybe it's the stores terrible choice in clear cases. Either way I would stay away and go to a real Verizon. Also I know the case I exchanged it for was only 35 bucks and the one I turned in was 50 bucks but I was tired of arguing with them. I know they think they at least got an extra 15 bucks out of me but I knew. This place is obviously dishonest take your business elsewhere. read more

After being absolutely mistreated (TERRIBLE customer service, GHETTO/BAD attitudes, general lack of care, among other crappy service) & put through the ringer at the Verizon corporate store across the street for the last THREE WEEKS, where mind you, my issues were still left unresolved, I decided to give the new mall authorized retailer a try. (BTW, BEST DECISION I COULD HAVE MADE!!!!) The store manager, Adrian came to my rescue & helped me solve my phone issues (Verizon's original issues that they refused to rectify). Adrian was very patient, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable; he spent hours trying to figure out my issues & corrected them, even staying HOURS after the store closed. He was open & honest on costs & such (he even gave me a discount for my troubles) & helped me make the best decision for myself & my phone/phone plan. I highly recommend this store, especially Adrian, the store manager. They are a newer store but were packed all day/night & now I see why. Adrian is a true professional who helped get me back to where I need to be (should have always been) with my phone & service, something Verizon corporate didn't seem to even have 5 minutes for.
