Nice brewery restaurant. During the day, nice view along the creek/river. Great selection of homemade beers, and a variety! They actually had several different styles, including a dark ale, stouts, IPA, kolsch, lagers, red ales, flavored brown ale, etc. The food was good too, this is not a brewery that happens to throw together some pizza or fried sliders, they actually have food worthy as a destination even if you arent drinking the beer. I have been twice in the last nine months and my positive review is consistent. Worth a trip if in Buffalo airport area. read more

We stopped into Britesmith late on a Saturday night during the NFL playoffs. The place was packed, and we waited about 20 minutes for a table. While we waited, we looked at the menu so we knew what we wanted to get. We ordered the garlic parm fries, a wood-fired pizza, and pretzel bites. The wild mushroom pizza was FANTASTIC, best thing on the menu, and it came to the table quickly in spite of the crowded restaurant. The fries were crisp, but they weren't as garlicky or parm-y as I would have liked. The pretzel bites were good. The beer/cheese sauce was particularly tasty, and that helped the fries, too. There were a lot of people watching the football game, lots of people standing near tables (not seated at them, which I found odd), but overall it was a pleasant atmosphere. There is a big microbrew selection of beer and cider, too, which seems to be a draw for the place. read more

Our server, Alexa, was a big part of our score for this visit. Our interactions were great and when I asked if there was a trail or something along the creek that tuns right in front of the Brewery she first gave me really good verbal directions and then later followed up with cell phone maps. The food was all great. We had deviled eggs for a starter and pepperoni pizza to share. The eggs were vibrantly creamy, smoky and salty all at once. The pizza was fresh and hot and had a wonderfully bready crust, charred in spots. The pizza crust was, for me, the best part but if you were hoping for a crispy crust, this wouldn't have been that crust except for the edges. Desert was a sticky toffee pudding cake, rich and fragrant with a light caramel sauce around the base of the cake. We didn't try any beers or cocktails today. We absolutely enjoyed our visit, the attractive surroundings and our server. All this good stuff comes at a price. This is the home of the 18 dollar bowl of chili and the 5 dollar up charge for a side salad etc. So, come expecting a 'nice' meal, not a deal. read more

Never a bad experience at Britesmith! A large venue that is always busy, yet still open and not overcrowded. The staff is always on top of the details and happy to guide you through your options. The pizzas here are fantastic! A true stone oven and there is no question about it when you take a bite. I've been here almost every time I'm in the area and it never fails to impress. Yes, you do pay a little extra due to location and quality, but it's well worth it! Looking for a quick stop for a drink? I couldn't name a better stop in williamsville! If you're feeling like having a few this is a great bar hop spot in the summer. Great food, great drinks, great service! read more

Host was rude. Hardly anyone there and insisted we sit at the bar without even giving us a chance to decide whether we wanted to eat or just have a couple of drinks. And later when we did decide to eat, he suggested we eat at the bar. I've never been to a restaurant where I felt so unwelcome; when we did finally get seated, they were three empty tables and apparently I sat at the wrong one (no "reserved" sign on either table). It was just one unpleasant thing after another in a restaurant that was not even busy and now I'm not wondering why; spoke to the manager about it, but our bill did not reflect our dissatisfaction.. bad customer service. read more

The service was great and the atmosphere is really nice especially with the patio. My only feedback is the price for their food. It was $26 for a chicken Caesar salad. The grilled chicken just didn't seem fresh and worth the additional charge. Their warm pretzels bites seemed very cheap "heat up in the microwave" type. It was $10 for a side of fries and $2 for a side of ranch. Overall great experience, I would just say if you are going with a group expect to pay an average of $50 a person and that includes only 1 alcoholic beverage. read more

Love the outdoor patio at Britesmith Brewing! My husband and I came while visiting Buffalo and we enjoyed it so much the first night that we came back the next day. We ordered pizza and beer, and both were wonderful! The only reason I can't give 5-stars is because of parking. It's terrible. read more

My friend and I wanted to go out for a late dinner after seeing a play in the village of Williamsville and there was pretty much nothing opened except Britesmith! This place is just ok for me. The building and atmosphere are nice and they have an awesome patio but I'm just not crazy about the food. This was my second time dining here. The server was friendly but a little slow. The pizza had good crust but not the most flavorful. Didn't love the chicken sandwich, very soft and kinda mushy with the egg salad on it. Overall pretty average. read more

Stopped at Britesmith the other day on a beer trail tour and this place never disappoints. The pizza is great, beer is solid. My favorite thing to get here is the onion dip appetizer, it's incredible. When the weather is nice, their patio is one of the best in Buffalo. The service here is always fast. Someone recommended this spot for my last work trip in the area and it did not disappoint. The patio is huge. I didn't sit out there but peaked at it and wow! For this time of year, it's a fantastic perk. Such a great spot and so beautiful. I sat at the bar and got great service all night. Their sour on tap was good, they had lots of great options for everyone. They had fantastic vegetarian options - I got the "meatballs" and cauliflower and they were both fantastic with great flavor. If I ever come back to the area, I will definitely be back. read more

Parking sucks. The actual brewery is great. There is a large creekside patio with a bar area and plenty of tables. Originally, we planned to be outside, but the music out there was so loud that we opted for inside. The inside was quieter and gave more of a true brewery vibe. There was an upstairs loft area for seating as well that wasn't being used at the time. Our server was very kind and attentive and got our drinks out to us quickly. I was amazed to hear that they had gluten-free crust, so I eagerly ordered the Welcome Back Ricotta-YUM! This is the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. If we find ourselves in this area again, I'll gladly be back! read more

Our initial view of Britesmith when they first opened was not great. So glad we gave it another chance. We sat at the bar and got great service. The bartender suggested the Korean Cheesesteak so I went with it. My company was not as eager as I was to try this. He was won over! The meat was tender-melt in your mouth, short ribs. I could have eaten another one. We also got the fungi pizza. Put pepperoni on it cuz, well...pepperoni! Loved this too. The mushrooms had great flavor, the crust was wood-fired, crispy. We tried all the IPA's and I wouldn't turn down any if they were given to me. But, the Britesmith IPA and Time to Fly were our favorites. There's an outside bar that was too full for us to sit at, as it was raining. So outside tables weren't an option. Parking is in the municipal lot a little bit away or on the street. Drop your guests at the door first. read more

Early dinner with friends... Smash burger ( no roll) and a side salad (prefer to eat romaine rather than the bitter stem laden greens that are so popular but that's my personal choice), wedge salad, and 2 fried chicken sandwiches with tater tots and two side Caesar salads , two Stag Jr bourbon and 1 soda. $145 after tax which is reasonable with top shelf liquor included. The portions were large and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was prompt and very friendly but not intrusive, hot foot hot, cold food cold, a pleasant evening! Music was a bit loud which raised the volume of voices inside so it was a bit difficult to converse but can be expected when it is packed with customers inside and out! Dine early unless you don't mind a long wait on a Friday night... very popular! Can't opine on the beer... none consumed. Fun environment! read more

Excellent beer, delicious wood fired pizza, and a great variety of salads. The outside seating was unbelievable. We had a fantastic time!

Amazing experience!! We timed it right as the line that had been there 15 minutes before was no longer existent. We scored a nice table overlooking the creek. Our server, Lindsay, was outstanding. We ordered drinks, my husband loved his New York Sour, and the best pizza EVER! Taking a cue from another Yelper, we ordered the mushroom pizza with pepperoni. We also split a house salad which was what we expected, nothing fancy but fresh and plenty. Nice ambiance, fun place, great service and food. read more

This brewpub felt disappointingly formulaic. While the beers were acceptable, the decision to only sell them as only crowlers and not 4 packs suggests the primary goal is maximizing bar profits, not craft brewing. The food menu was restricted to typical pub food; typical greasy pub fare alongside salads; it was prepared reasonably well, though. The pizza looked amazing, but $25 for the average personal pizza was a bit unreasonable. The undeniable highlight is the venue itself: a beautifully restored historic building by the river. It's worth visiting for the architecture and ambiance, but keep your expectations for the food and beer in check. The overall vibe reminded me strongly of the New York Beer Project. In spite of all of these things, the service was good. Nothing special, but good. read more

Very cute brewery! It was lovely for a holiday season meal overlooking the water. I had a gluten free pizza and the crust seemed to be made in house and was interesting. This is my third visit to Britesmith. First time was a work dinner and it was phenomenal! Food, service, and their porter... AMAZING! Second visit was with a friend in town. We sat at the bar and the food & beverage were quite good. We actually took a pizza home for a late night snack. My last visit was solid for service but food was average. $25 pizza maybe had 3-ounces of grilled chicken. Corn dip appetizer was super hot (temperature) and delicious. Beverages were above average especially their brewed products. Service was attentive and professional but not conversational. I know that the newest technology is hand held checkout at table side. I am traditionally very generous when it comes to gratuities but I'm not a huge fan of my server waiting over me as I finalize my bill and picking a "recommended" tip amount. Alas, it is what it is! Enjoy ! read more

Man what a cool place! Awesome atmosphere and ambiance and a neat set up by the creek. They have loads of high top tables, bar seating, and tons of beers to try! Parking is available on main Street technically but can be difficult to come by. Loved the visit we'll absolutely be back! read more

First time here, was attended to immediately & our server was amazing. It's a little dark & loud but I don't mind, the vibes were very nice in this brewery. Our food came out quickly & it was all very fresh & hot. The elote dip was definitely a great appetizer to get if you love corn dips. I would most definitely get the smash burger again, it's not a traditional smash but they use amazing grade meat & you can clearly taste it. The lobster roll was nothing great, it was a little cold & reminded me of tuna but tasted great but I am definitely going to pass on that one next time. Lastly, the espresso martini was superb & authentic. Great place overall, will most definitely come back & try some other items! read more

Britesmith is a destination brewery on Main St in Williamsville. I took a group for a happy hour/social. First, the management team was super accommodating (Brian) for the group. The beer selection is awesome and well done. You'll find something you'll like. We had "finger" foods and the flatbreads were a hit. Delicious choices. Get there early in the summer, the patio gets busy and it is one of the premier outdoor spaces around and parking is limited. The bar area is small though nice. I enjoy it every time I'm in town. read more

We decided to go to Music on Main and started ahead of time at Britesmith for a bite and a drink. We ordered the Diavola pizza. A nice size pizza, cut in 6 pieces and easy shareable. It had a nice amount of Calabrian peppers on it for some nice heat. The pizza was good, but needed a bit more topping, there was a bit too much crust. I tried 2 of their own brews: Time to Fly (IPA) and Britesmith IPA. Both were nice IPA's. Time to Fly was my favorite. read more

The Diavola pizza had a nice flavor and a bit of heat from the Calabrian peppers, but I thought there was too much crust and not nearly enough topping. The pizzas are baked in a wood burning oven and come out quickly after ordering, less than 10 minutes. The Calabrian peppers do create the heat on this pizza, but be warned that if you eat one by itself, it is quite bitter. There are 6 slices, so the pizzas are easily sharable. Our waiter was very attentive, noticing when my iced tea had to be refilled. read more

We arrived at 9:45pm on a Tuesday to grab some wings and beer. Apparently the kitchen closes at 10pm, but we knew we just wanted wings, so we quickly placed our order. Clearly our bartender was ready to leave for the night. Not only was she inattentive... she was downright rude. She was cleaning up in a huff and not paying attention to the customers at our end of the bar. We felt the bartender serving the at the other end was embarrassed. His part of the bar was "hopping" and he was smiling and trying to make the best of a bad situation. It was completely awkward. I'm pretty sure the only worst service I ever had was at Taco Bell on Transit and they are no longer in business. We were there to try the wings because the owner responded to my previous review and said they were good. My wife agreed and rated the wings a 5/5, but I wasn't impressed... perhaps it was the service that soured me. Eeks... I feel bad for an establishment when they have a bad server, but my goodness... this was so abominable. Unfortunately, one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. read more

Stopped here for a quick bite and to try their beers. You had to check in outside at a table and a hostess walked you to a table, I would of liked to sit outside on their patio/beer garden but it was packed. We were seated near the bar at a small table with a wood pile staked against it. Um this is different..., Our server Brooklyn was very nice and explained they are short staffed, she took our drink orders right away. I went with a flight of local beers. BSB Billie Haze, BSB brother daze, BSB wills pils and the Hopfenschlägen. They were all delicious. I wasn't really hungry, so I ordered the pretzel bites with beer cheese and house made mustard. It hit the spot and paired perfectly with the beer. I tried a bite of the fried chicken sandwich, also good. Really enjoyed the beers, next time a better table. read more

Finally made it to Britesmith meeting a couple friends for dinner and drinks. We sat outside on the patio or as they called it, the beer garden. I never made it inside except to visit the ladies room (very clean!). There was a threat of rain but our server Frank put us at ease saying they have a plan B for if the rain came and to just run inside and he'd find us. Luckily no rain. I decided to try their Briter Daze a pale ale that Frank told me was like a lighter version of an IPA, which I normally order. He was right. Very tasty. For food we decided to split a couple of pizzas. We got the Stuffed Pepper and the Meat Street. I really enjoyed the Stuffed Pepper which had a nice kick of heat and a great combination of cheeses. The Meat Street tasted more like an ordinary meet pizza but one of my friends liked that best so as in all foods it's personal taste. Both were nice thin crust. Thick enough to pick up but not too heavy. The atmosphere and setting along the water were perfect. The place was pretty busy but we didn't wait for any unreasonable times.. Nice lively bar but also families all sharing the space. A blues band was playing. They were really good though I never did get their names. I'll be back. 2021-128 read more

We came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon with a group of 7 and were seated with no wait at a really nice table with a beautiful view of the creek. The atmosphere was very cool. Our server, Cassidy, came over right away and took our drink order. It was the first visit for six people in our group, and Cassidy helped them select the beer that would best suit their taste. The beers were very good. We decided to order pizzas, and they were ready in a jiffy. We loved them! Even the gluten free one was good. My boyfriend got the mushroom pizza and liked the flavor. Will I be back again? Absolutely. This second time I dined here, the experience was a lot better than the first time.
