Excellent pizza the deep dish Detroit style pizza is my favorite. They also have very good wings. The service is right on point. The weight staff are very alternative and very polite . Definitely two thumbs up. read more

Went back for pizzas, apps and a few beers. Sat outside and it was a nice night. Had the same server from last time and he was mistake free during our visit, and his service is definitely improved. Food was very good! Detroit cup and char w/ hot honey drizzle and the hamburger one is phenomenal! read more

First time in and ordered the Detroit pizza, it may not be your preference but it was a lot and very well put together-- delicious. Also, charred honey garlic wings-- excellent. Drinks are also very good if a bit pricey. It is Lewiston after all. Definitely worth a try but be aware, it is smallish and it gets busy. If your heart is set on it, best to call ahead. read more

This place blew my balls off. Stopped in before a concert at Artpark. Peachfest was going on and the area was mobbed. They take reservations but I never considered making one. I thought that would be a huge mistake but we were seated immediately at the bar. Tenders were attentive, helpful and kind. Solid beer options and quality cocktails. Brussels spout appetizer was HUGE and delicious. The hot and sweet pizza stole the show. It wasn't the prettiest pie but my goodness was it quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had. Spicy fresh peppers. Gooey cheese. Sweet and light ricotta. With a perfect Detroit style crust - crunchy outside and almost donut like interior. No wonder why there were so any takeout orders. I wish I lived closer! read more

While in the area from Michigan we stopped in at Hustler's for dinner. What a great choice! The chopped (classic antipasto) salad was great, easily served 4. Do not skip the truffle fries, which is the hugest portion of fries I've seen. The wings were perfectly sauced and crisp on the outside, and the pizza choices (thick, crisp "Detroit" pan style or thin New York style) were unique and delicious. We were there January 2, and the creative Christmas decor was charming yet dramatic. Don't miss this one! read more

We made a reservation at Hustler's Tavern in Lewiston, and I'm glad we did--it was packed! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, giving the whole place a nice, relaxed vibe. We went for the French Onion Detroit-Style Pizza and the Lemon Ricotta Pizza--both were absolutely delicious, generous in portion, and well-priced. For drinks, we tried an espresso martini and a beer, and I have to say, that espresso martini hit the spot. All in all, great food, great drinks, and a lively night out! read more

Food was delicious and service was great. Went on a Tuesday evening and was sat right away. They have a patio, but we chose to sit inside and admire the decor. read more

It's a pretty popular spot. Their cocktails are terrific. And their salads are nice and fresh. As for their Detroit style pizza, I've tried it twice, and both times felt it was totally missing something. Not enough sauce. Felt like I was eating a cheesy breadstick. Dough is light with a little bit of chew but the toppings are way too minimal for the pizza. If you want a great Detroit style pizza I recommend trying Jay's artisan pizza on Delaware Avenue. Both times I've had great service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ambience is nice if you're there on a weeknight. It tends to get very loud on the weekends. read more

Amazing food and experience all around. Our family of four shared the Alfredo Detroit style pizza and Parmesan truffle fries. It was all so delicious!!! We had plenty to eat. We also enjoyed a few tasty cocktails. Loved everything about this charming little restaurant. read more

We stopped in during the peach festival because we were tired of carnival food. My Buffalo Chicken sandwich may have been the best chicken sandwich I ever had! And I eat a lot of chicken sandwiches! My husband had Nashville chicken sandwich and liked it. Fast service and really nice waitress! I don't remember her name, pretty girl with long black ponytail! And long red fingernails! It was quite loud though. read more

The food was very delicious. The ambiance is laid back tavern with a modern take. Our hostess ended having to become our waitress due to a large party the night we came in but she did an awesome job read more

The food here is amazing. Had the sweet and spicy sopresatta pizza, it was so amazing I got the dill ranch pizza to go. We also had an appetizer and dessert which where equally as good. Our waitress was really nice and encouraged me to try the dill pickle pizza. The restaurant looks really nice inside. The decor is upscale and nice, I especially like the bar. Will definitely return, complete must try! read more

Hustlers tavern is a great spot to go for a pizza dinner if you want something a little nicer than ordering local takeout (though takeout from Hustlers also sounds like a great idea..). We came on a Tues and were delighted that the special was buy one pizza get 10 free wings. We decided to do this - wings were very good and we were able to split the flavor, and the Detroit style pizza was delicious!! We also got a salad to make ourselves feel a bit better about the heaviness of wings and pizza, and the beet salad fit the bill perfectly. The atmosphere was a bit classier than a standard pizza spot, and it made for a nice dinner out! read more

Stopped in after golf and walked out in awe. This pizza is absolutely incredible hands down. I'm a thin crust NYC style za person but after a conversation with our wonderful bartender Maddie was talked into going with Detroit style, this was a wise choice! Wonderfully doughy and crispy with perfect amount of sauce and zesty pepperoni. Took some home and it reheats well for another helping. Nice selection of drafts and full bar to keep you quenched. Thanks Maddie! Can't wait to come back! read more

Their Detroit-style pizza is so worth a stop in here! I usually like the typical WNY pizza when I am in town, so I was hesitant to try Hustlers. The pizza was thick, yet light and airy. Great flavor and great service. I highly recommend trying their Detriot-style pizza. read more

This new spot in Lewiston is a great addition to the village. It has amazing food and cocktails. We visited on a Friday, not knowing they took reservations over the phone for their tables. Luckily, we were able to snag a couple seats at the bar. The spicy chicken Caesar salad was really delicious and had a nice crunch to provide some texture. The Detroit-Style pizza is out of this world. I'm not normally a thick pizza person, but they prepared it well done just how we asked and the crust had amazing flavor. read more

Loved their Detroit style pizza. For sure it's the best pizza in Lewiston. Thick, crispy crust which is really tasty. I had the pepperoni which was very flavorful. Our friends had crushed tomatoes and mozzarella Detroit style pizza. We were both pleasantly surprised. Service was spot on. The restaurant is one of the old Gallo's and it's very well decorated. read more

Very happy that Hustler's Tavern is open. The Detroit pizza is really good. The crust is buttery and crunchy and the dough is soft and they use a lot of cheese. We also got the crab cakes that were very flavorful but could use an extra couple minutes to crust the complimentary donut holes we were given were delicious! I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu. read more

Stopped in here last week to try and get some food and drinks- the place was very busy and we ended up not even being able to get a seat. From what we could see, everyone was talking and eating, and the food that went by looked tasty. The decor / interior was very nice and clean, giving the space a warm vibe that I really enjoyed. We will keep this on our list to stop back and try out. read more

Food and service was horrible! Go to bflo pizza bistro in Buffalo if you want good Detroit style pizza!!!

Very racist place! I had a door dash pick up and they wouldn't even service me, they just looked and walked away. A few of the employees were off to the side whispering and pointing at me. Please of you're African AMERICAN do not go here! They don't like us! I had to give 1 star to leave the review read more

I was visiting my parents from Los Angeles and instead of going to the same two Lewiston restaurants I suggested this newer restaurant. Everyone loved it. I suggest making reservations. Ambiance was beautiful inside. We ordered the Detroit style pizza w pepperoni, we sat at the high top table and you could see the chef working on it. It was delicious, obviously more rich than NY style but so good. I loved the wings charred! We started w the Brussel sprouts very good with the candied pecans. read more

Whatever hustle they may do it is done well. initially seeing their business on Facebook we decided to ride out to Lewiston to give them a try. I was not disappointed. Everything I tried was great. I can't remember if I ever had Detroit style pizza before but I have been back several times since then. The wings are great as well as the other items. Ask them to make you a sidecar if you are at the bar. Reservations are recommended. It is a very cozy place though and worth waiting for. read more

We got the truffle fries, Detroit smash pizza and chopped salad. The food here is so good and I'd say pretty affordable. We went in kind of late, but the servers treated us so well and were super nice! The place was very chill and the dim lights gave it the romantic vibe. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again! read more

This review is not only for those who are considering checking out Hustler's in Lewiston, but also for its owner, whose own employees are undermining his efforts to remain open in a part of the village where many others have failed. i've frequented this establishment for the last time. The main reasons are two employees who may or not be playing will a full deck and could care less if paying customers return or not. The first employee, a barmaid named Brooke, may be the worst bartender in WNY. Not only is she unnecessarily aggressive and confrontational, even when she's in the wrong, but acts as if she's doing you a favor every time she serves you a drink. The time i was in with my two cousins they swore they'd never return because of the unpleasant experience. One of them said, "This bartender should be bagging groceries at Tops." Does Brooke care if my cousins never come back? Obviously not and this should concern the owner, who likely does. The second reason is the unhinged cook, who sent us home with a burnt pizza that was inedible. Of course, he knew he burned it, but he tossed it in a box anyway, not caring if we returned or not. As for me, it's not, and that should concern the owner, who has an uphill battle making it where Hustler's is located, especially when his employees behave in a such a way that makes customers not want to return. Last summer, me and my friends watched in disbelief as the crazy cook threw a temper tantrum that would have embarrassed a toddler, slamming and banging things for a good fifteen minutes. Have no idea what set him off, but he certainly was pissed. It went on for so long it became comical, like live entertainment but the bartender looked legitimately frightened. Does he care if customers return or not? Obviously not. FYI: The first time i was in Hustler's i sat at the bar for about an hour or so, working up an appetite and planning to take a pizza home. The place closes at 10pm and was mostly empty. About 15 minutes before closing about two dozen people piled into the place. There was a festival that day in the other part of the village and they were overflow from the other bars. The barmaid (young brunette, late 20s, maybe 30) obviously had made plans for the evening and quickly closed the place down, costing the owner a tidy sum. Does she care if Hustler's makes it or not? Obviously not. To the owner of Hustler's: The odds of your business succeeding in the village are against you, especially on the wrong outskirts of town. But if your employees are, consciously or not, working against you, Hustler's has little chance of lasting for very long. i hope i'm wrong and these employees are the exception rather than the rule but every time i'm in your place, one of the employees has made me not want to come back. The burnt pizza was the last straw. Consider taking a good look at your staff and definitely spend more time keeping an eye on your employees. i've not seen anyone that looks remotely like an owner or manager when i've been there and when nobody is looking over their shoulders, your staff conduct themselves as if they'd been hired by a rival restauranteur who sent them to destroy your business. read more

I went to Hustler's Tavern around 7 pm on a Friday night. It was stuffy under the outdoor patio area, a noticeable difference in temperature between under the awning and outside. Our server was attentive, but unfortunately forgot to ring in one of the pizzas in our order. We ordered the cauliflower starter and crushed tomato pizza. Not my favorite Detroit style pizza in the area, but I would go back to try the New York style we missed out on. read more

The aesthetic was awesome, I would say upscale casual. I went here last night with my 6 friends for a ladies night out and Hustlers BROUGHT IT! We all shared 2 apps, 2 salads, and 2 pizzas and everything was delicious! The Dill pickle pizza and the Brussel sprouts stood out (there was NOTHING LEFT). The drinks were great! A wide variety of cocktails, beer, and wine. Only reason we are at a 4 is the service.... It's just clear they need help. There was only 1 bartender (that's like a no-no for a Friday night in Lewiston) it took too long to get drinks. Our server was CLEARLY on too many tables. We had to ask for water several times, I was left without a plate at one point, and she seemed extremely frazzled. One of my friends said that she saw only that they were hiring, so I really hope they get more staff. The food was SOO GOOD I want this tiny tavern to survive. read more

They've nailed Detroit style pizza. Their menu is small- but you can tell everything is fresh because of it. The smash pizza was a Big Mac lover's dream come true. Everything is delicious and the service is great. It's a smaller restaurant so to-go might be better for larger groups. read more

Crispy chicken Caesar and pecan Brussels were so good. Had the best espresso martini with my dinner. Very excited to return here again!
