And oh it did not disappoint, the perfectly butter basted toasted bun glistening around the most glorious crispy and thick fried chicken nestled under a blanket of a crisp and green lettuce leaf all surrounded by the guard of a massive heap of seasoned fries. BRB I'm crying as I relive my own chicken eating dream and wiping drool from my face... This is a dense sandwich, and well worth the price tag, after a tip it came to $21+ and while that may seem steep it will force me to pace my consumption. You get a perfectly toasted bun that houses the most moist and flavourful yet crispy breaded chicken with clear notes of a chefs mastery. The top bun is home to a wonderful tomato chutney style jelly sweet and tangy which compliments the bottoms buns deviled egg Dijon sauce that should really be an option to put on any food (this had EPIC flavour) The crisp lettuce leaf is green while the crunchy red onion together tie it all in... not to be forgotten is the side of bread and butter pickles that you MUST place in that Mecca we are calling a fried chicken sandwich. Wow, I was blown away at how amazing this place was!!! I've been told to come here by numerous people but the wait was always an hour or more. I normally arrive at any restaurant hangry so I wouldn't be able to wait that long lol. I came on a Friday for lunch with a girl friend and there was a wait but it wasn't bad. We opted to sit outside because the weather was beautiful. The outdoor patio was spacious and the majority of the tables had some shade. We ordered the deviled eggs to start, the lobster pizza, and a salad. This was My first time trying deviled eggs because I'm not a big fan of mayo but they was really delicious especially with the bacon bits on top. You will also NOT regret getting the lobster pizza! We had an exceptional visit with dear friends last night at Britesmith Brewing and a lot of our great time was attributed to a fantastic server named James! This guy knows his beers, his place's IPAs and how to read a customer really well! I told James that I typically enjoy wine and what on the Britesmith Brewing menu stood out to me. We ended up with the Billie Haze and it was a perfect choice. Thanks James! Let's talk about the food at this establishment. We the BEST patatas bravas we have ever had anywhere (and we order this item at almost any restaurant that offers them!). I wish I had taken a picture of them but you will have to go there yourselves to feast your eyes on them and then enjoy! The crispness of the skins of the potatoes, the perfect balance of the Spanish chili sauce with the garlic aioli drizzled on top was pure culinary perfection! I am not exaggerating! I love being with friends who like to share beer pretzels with a good cheese sauce & grain mustard because I don't ever want to eat a full order. The ones at Britesmith are good, not amazing like the patatas bravas. I think the cheese sauce needs a little "kick" but still a worthwhile app to order. The wild mushroom and truffle oil wood fired pizza did not disappoint. Every pizza going by our table looked amazing! Lastly my friends really loved the beer steamed clams, particularly the pita bread served alongside to accompany the delicious broth. Britesmith sits along a beautiful vibrant creek. If 70 were sold this evening, they'll put this delicious sandwich on the permanent menu. The Korean Cheesesteak sandwich (or hand held, as it's listed on the online menu via ToastTab.com) has Braised short ribs, Swiss and American cheeses, housemade kimchi, jalapenos, cucumbers, sriracha lime aioli, scallions, and sesame seeds on a buttered bun. I chose a side salad for my add-on, and that included a spring mix of greens, slivered red onion, seeded cucumber, garbanzo beans, and fire-roasted tomatoes with a delicious lemon vinaigrette dressing. I finished off my order with a crowler of BSB Dunkel, a traditional German dark lager with notes of caramel, toffee, and dark fruit. The okay: The chicken sandwich was not the best I've ever had but it was still good. I think maybe there were TOO many flavors which didn't really allow the chicken to shine. My friend got the Maine lobster roll- too much bread, not enough lobster. She said the lobster was good but a little overpowered by the sheer amount of butter on the sandwich. The bad: this place is PRICEY. $22 for a chicken sandwich with fries. $34 for a lobster roll and tater tots. $13 for deviled eggs! $8 beers. While the food was good, it was not worth $100 for two entrees and an appetizer. If I go back it will only be for a special occasion due to the cost. My wife and I tried to stop in for a beer last summer. There was a light rain but the outdoor patio was still filled with people. We asked the hostess for a table outside. She scoffed and said, "Ugh, it's raining!" Well, we left and didn't try to stop back in until yesterday. Parking is a bit strange. They have a tiny parking lot. But Main St has a ton of available spots. You may have to walk a bit to enter the brewery. The building is amazing. A nice well done rustic feel. It overlooks the creek. I was in the mood for a burger and my spouse really wanted some good beer so I was hesitant when she picked Britesmith Brewing for dinner the other night. Aren't they kind of a pizza place? Well, yes and no. I saw there was a burger on the menu so I went along with it. Walking into the building for the first time you're met with a clean open space, not at all too crowded-feeling (it was a Sunday evening) despite several parties at the bar and most tables occupied. It's well spaced so you don't feel like you're on top of others as you walk through or when you're seated. The whole inside eating area overlooks Ellicott Creek too. The menu is all online so what you see on their website is up to date. The beer list has something for everyone and left our party of different tastes happy. I had the house-made Wills Pills, my spouse had a sour, and our friend had a bright pink number that she said was delicious. All the pizzas sounded great but we settled on the Welcome Back Ricotta. It came out faster than I expected, cut into sixths. Their pizza has a delightful thin bottom with a poofy crust. It's hard to find this style in the Buffalo area but it is one of my preferred styles of pizza! The hot cherry peppers packed a punch in each cheesy slice and left a kick in every bite by association. Main courses came out just as we had finished the pizza. I had the Double Smash Burger with cheddar cheese instead of the standard American-swiss. It did not disappoint. The parties were small but delicately cooked so as to not be over-done. There were grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The bun was soft and sweet and fit the contents nicely so as to not make a mess of the large stack. The tots were extremely crispy on the outside with a soft center. They gave a great crunch and we're seriously delicious. The other two meals in the group were enjoyed but I cannot speak to them in such detail. Overall this meal was extremely enjoyable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My friend wanted to take me out and lift my spirits. We decided to go to Britesmith. Lovely evening outside. We sat at the beer garden bar. Our first drink was served by a lovely young bartender. The things changed. We had nachos ($30 - crazy), a pizza (no plates with the pizza) and shishito peppers and 6 drinks each. No one ever asked how the food was. Joe the bartender did not want us there. Not sure if we sat in a regulars place at the bar? I could not understand how 2 gray-bearded 50 somethings could be treated so poorly and rudely by this man. We were there just under 4 hours and spent almost $350 (I could have bought 5 bottles of good bourbon)...which is a bit pricey mind you. We decided to have one last drink, and that is when Joe confronted us about how much we had to drink...not in a caring way, but we were told it was "his A$$" and proceeded to count shots and tell us we had too much. We were fine. Also, there are ubers if we were not. Joe is not a friendly person and should not be behind a bar talking to people. I have never, in all my years of sitting at bars EVER been treated this way. The brewer and another worker talked to us as well and they were great. I just cannot get past how rude someone can be to people just sitting at the corner of the bar, spending money, and trying to have a good time; hence 1 star. I probably wont be back after that experience. He really ruined what should have been a great evening. Even people next to us thanked us and said we had a great vibe. I don't understand. I'm less impressed this time than the first time I was here. Came in last night for a Friday night cocktail with the hubby. Nikki was our bartender for most of the evening and she was great, so kudos there. I ordered a Jenny Hendrix and the hubby ordered a wheat beer but the tank ran out while she was filling the glass and he only got 3/4 of a glass so they didn't charge us for that one. We appreciated that. I asked the manager about the WiFi and he said he'd ask the owner who he said happened to be there, so he left for a few minutes and when he returned he gave me a password. After unsuccessfully trying the password several times, he went to ask one more time and never came back. It was definitely disappointing to learn that 25 days after officially opening they still don't have it sorted out. I wanted something to eat so I ordered the nachos with pork like I had last time but was informed that after 10pm all that's available is stuff from the pizza oven (pizzas, pretzels, and sausage). So I ordered the sausage and it was alright. The portion seemed a tad measly. Nice presentation though. By the end of our visit Nikki's shift had ended and she was gone so I ordered a cup of coffee from someone else behind the bar. I was looking forward to it because when I had it before they pressed it right in front of me and brought out all the stuff like cream and sugar for me to do it up the way I like it, but when it came it was just a cup of coffee with cream and sugar already in it. We visited on Mother's day and scooted in at the perfect time to score ourselves a patio table without a wait! (This was around 3:30pm). There was a little bit of a breeze this particular day, so it was perfect that my mom and I were seated with a fire pit right behind us. The setting was pretty nice (the creek is empty which is kind of ugly but it didn't smell and obviously it is not the restaurant's fault, just an observation) and the staff was friendly, but the food took a little long to come out. The appetizer we ordered, actually came out last when we thought they would be first as an appetizer. Between the five of us we ordered three pizzas, a burger, fries and the aforementioned beet deviled eggs. The pizzas were all good, even the gluten free one... The taste and texture were not off-putting to a person who does not need to eat gf. The fries had a bbq-esque seasoning sprinkled on them and we're pretty good. The beet pickled deviled eggs were actually my favorite as they are not something I have ever seen on a menu before and I am a HUGE fan of beet pickled eggs in general. The inside area is a little cramped when it's busy, especially walking through the bar to get your table. The outdoor area is large, with a huge bar and fire pits. You can tell money was no object when they built this. Building and service 5 stars and food 3 stars for an average rating of 4. On our visit, I ordered the very popular fried chicken sandwich with the parmasean garlic tater tots ($18). I also ordered seasoned fries for the table. We also each had a beer. I was really looking forward to the sandwich because if it's unique toppings of egg yolk spread and tomato jam. It was okay but nothing to get excited about. The bun was drenched in butter and then grilled. The chicken itself was crispy but lacked flavor. The toppings were good but also didn't pack the punch I thought they would. Popeyes is still number one with their crunchy, flavorful chicken. The tater tots had good flavor but were soggy. Soggy tater tots make me sad. The seasoned fries were good and crispy, but that was the cheapest thing we bought at $5 for a side. Beer was in the $7 and up range like many of the local breweries. The concept is great, but the overall size of the bar area was way to narrow and could have used more tables in their dining area. On a cool, grey, drizzly Thursday night in October, Britesmith Brewing brightened it up with a nice dining experience! I walked in around 4:15pm and asked about making a table reservation, for two people, for 5pm. The hosts were not able to accommodate, as that's not the policy here, but they assured me that I should be able to get a table fairly easily around 5pm, and spoilers, they were right. Since the other person in my party hadn't arrived yet, I grabbed a stool at the bar and sipped on a seltzer and lime and watched the TVs to pass the time. The bar itself is plenty big and the bartenders behind it were attentive so I wasn't worried about being forgotten. Around 4:30pm, my family arrived and grabbed a seat at the bar and we chatted as we sipped on our beer. I ordered the Britesmith Oktoberfest and very much enjoyed it! Around 4:50pm, I went back to the host station and, voila, we were immediately seated upstairs at a table facing the small water fall that flows into Glen Park, an excellent table to be seated at! Our waitress for the evening was great - very courteous, friendly, and warm. She came over a few minutes after we were seated with a pitcher of water, enough time to look over the menu and narrow down what we wanted. I narrowed down what I wanted to two items under the "Helds" sub-menu and went with her recommendation. Our meals didn't take long to be made but there was a bit of a snafu with my family's order and so we had to wait a bit for them to make it, but it wasn't too big a deal, they took care of it with little fuss. All-in-all, I think we waited maybe 20 minutes for our food to arrive. Our waitress was great at checking in on us and making sure we were good on drinks and such throughout our meal. For dinner, I ordered the Korean Cheesesteak, from their "Helds" sub-menu, with their seasoned fries, the default side, and it also came with a small cup of what tasted, to me, like bread and butter pickles. The description for this sandwich is braised short ribs topped with Swiss American cheese, cucumber, jalapenos, a Sriracha lime aioli, scallions, and sesame seeds, all between a slightly toasted hoagie-style roll. This sandwich was excellent! There was plenty of braised short ribs, which were tender and hot. The jalapenos and that aioli added a nice spice and the cucumber and, what tasted like, peeled carrots helped dull that heat down. The scallions were a nice addition to the sandwich and the sesame seeds, though not very flavorful, at least for me, added a little extra texture to the sandwich. I'll be honest, I didn't notice the cheese but I don't think this sandwich needs it as the aioli does a great job adding a creamy flavor and texture. The size of this sandwich is pretty good size but pairs perfectly with a side of their seasoned fries and a cold beer. I've raved about the fries before and they were just as hot and crispy this time. All-in-all, the quality and quantity of food you receive is great, very in-line with the cost. Another great meal at Britesmith Brewing! The staff we interacted with were friendly and easy to talk to and the food was delicious. I'd have to give a slight edge to their Fried Chicken Sandwich over the Korean Cheesesteak, but I wouldn't hesitate to order the cheesesteak again when I need a switch up from chicken. I've been trying to get to the patio of this place for a while, but since they don't take reservations, every time I stopped by the wait was too long to be able to stick around. However this weekend, I was finally able to make it happen! Totally worth my persistence. I got what I believe was called the Jenny Hendrix cocktail and it was exactly what I hoped for - lemony and cucumbery (definitely a real adjective) and so refreshing. It went down very easy. We got the chips and dip and they were good but I probably wouldn't order again. The chips were a little hard and I didn't love the dip flavor or texture with the onion chunks in it. I ordered the lobster roll and it was fantastic. Exactly what I was hoping for. The rolls was buttery and crispy, lobster was perfect texture. I got the Parmesan fries too and they were awesome! The best part about all of this besides the food being so good and service being lovely (we got a newer server and she was the absolute sweetest and very attentive!), was the setting. The patio was really cool! We sat in the back with actual waterfalls as our backdrop. We were also there during a Bills game and they had it on over the patio bar! The outside is space is quite large and has a full bar set up. Food - So far, we have tried the Elote - fire-roasted corn, chili, queso fresco, crema, cilantro, pickled red onion, tortilla chips for $12. Take a look at my "smash burger" photo. Just looks like two frozen patties thrown on the grill and left to shrink into half sized hockey pucks. Definitely not smashed on a flatop like the name would suggest. I dont think smashing a frozen patty would work anyway. The fries were good. I get super stoked when i see a wood/coal/natural gas fired pizza oven. The Meat Street pizza that i had would be much better if a drizzle of chili honey was added. Way too much liquid and much too sweet for me, but that can be subjective. Look at my photo. I think it's too much. The crust was chewy and airy which i love. I'd come back and have a few beers with friends on the patio but would have to decline if someone asked me if i wanted to order some food. read more

Wasn't sure what to expect for Williamsville being the location, but the gentleman behind the main bar are extra LOUD for no reason. (I heard two different parties commenting on this too) Then again, probably best to not enjoy a meal at the bar. Leaves me wondering where some of them worked beforehand. Peeked outside and it was bumping for a Sunday. Burger was very good. Like the drink options. Will return for sure, but not at the bar. Lol read more

Another lobster roll reviewed here - if you want to drop some $$$ then this is the place for you. Two ppl and almost $100 (see check) In this instance the service was spectacular and the food was solid. However $28 for any lobster roll - let alone one that wasnt over stuffed- was disappointing. However the taste of the buttery roll and the garlic aioli was spot on. The mustard seeds were an interesting addition visually but didn't bring much taste value to the lobster. This roll is currently in 3rd place behind The Rock & Fresh Poke. See the others in my prior reviews Pizza was excellent!!! Great flavor but again $20 for a 9ich pie was a little pricey for a regular night out. read more

1st time here. Our 30 mins suggested wait was closer to 70. We got our table and the server was prompt and courteous. A couple of pizzas as appetizers. Dough was thin and crispy. I tasted a little salt in the crust, and it was cooked perfectly. I also tried the beef jerky. It came in a sealed package and was generous in portion. Slightly salty, still tender , with a sweet soy flavor. I ordered the Korean cheesesteak sandwich. It came heaping in a small hoagy roll with sauce and pickles. It was very tasty though messy to eat . the steak was cooked well but it was a bit overpowered by the dressing and vegetables. The seasoned fries were generous and delicious. Most of my table had already been here and ordered the chicken sandwich topped with egg. The chicken was moist and the crust was crispy but not overdone. A very well executed sandwich. It was very hearty for a chicken sandwich and also messy to eat. For beer i only had the Britesmith ipa. Its a solid brew. A bit on the malty side reminiscent of a 12 gates ipa. Last thing. If you have a table of 6 and there are any kids in tow, Be prepared to wait. No high tops. And no putting smaller tables together. Every time we come here we enjoy it! I love the space because it overlooks the water. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. The nachos and onion dip are amazing! Their pizzas are always great too. read more
