    Artichoke fritters

We had a wonderful dining experience at Brigantine! Our server, Amy, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We started with the clam chowder and artichoke fritters, both of which were delicious. For our entrées, we enjoyed the fish tacos, paired perfectly with a glass of white wine and a Cabernet Sauvignon. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The restaurant is in a great location, just a short walk from the beach, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal after spending time by the ocean. We look forward to returning on our next visit!

I ended up here with my sister and nieces that were visiting from Vegas. They enjoy the Brig's fish tacos every time they visit. I ordered a pair of the blackened Mahi-mahi tacos on corn tortillas. They come by default on flour tortillas but they let you switch the tortillas. The tacos were good. The fish portion was a little under size, but the fish was tasty and tender. The tacos came with fresh shredded green and red cabbage, a green creamy salsa, and a touch of cilantro and green peppers. The hospitality was very good. Our server had a good personality and was super nice to everyone. The service was good too, she kept every one's waters filled and checked on us several times. There's plenty of inside and outside seating available.

My Wagyu Hamburger satisfied my expectations for the plate with Garlic Truffle Fries, at the Brigantine Restaurant, today! Reilly, my server, had about the greenest eyes I've ever seen. Personable and attentive service made my day better than ever!

We toured the Hotel Del Coronado this morning and it was unseasonably hot in Coronado and we needed AC and a cool drink and lunch. Brigantine was to the rescue. Service was super efficient (thanks Jordan!) and drinks appeared quickly. My wife had macadamia crusted coconut shrimp and the Brig house salad and I had crab stuffed tiger shrimp. My big bacon wrapped prawns came with mashed potatoes with jalapeño gravy and mixed veggies. My wife liked her shrimp and said the greens in her salad was super fresh. We werefull so passed on dessert but were tempted by choices. Overall it was a very tasty lunch.

Staying on The island for a week. So happy to pop in for Happy Hour. Had the pleasure of Riley taking care of us. She was delightful. We had great food and drinks and her attention to us was amazing !! We had tacos and great snacks. Crab cake. All great. So we loved it so much... a few days later we wanted dinner. Fernando was our server. He too is an incredible server. Had cocktails and Scallops... and crab stuffed shrimp. I will say... there was no crab. Really. Sorry. But service was so great... it didn't matter. He was so kind to bring us an incredible Crème Brûlée. Because we were teasing another couple about their anniversary. ( we are old) What a great establishment!! Can't wait to return. Really. Thank you!

Went for a team meeting. Just the right amount of service from staff so we could all mingle and catchup. Lots of gluten free and gluten alternative dishes. My coworkers were all happy and I know how hard it is to find food options to make 10 plus people happy. I chose the special which was almond crusted halibut and my coworker got the same but gluten alternative and loved it just as much!

My mom and I love biking to The Brigantine for happy hour. $5 glasses of wine + great small plate deals. It's such a fun, relaxed spot to unwind after a ride. Good food, good prices (especially for Coronado), and a great atmosphere. Definitely a nice place to sit outside in the sun across from the dell! Service is always great as well, quick, friendly and attentive.

Highly recommend! Came here for happy hour Friday evening and had the nicest most amazing server! They have the best happy hour prices and are just steps from the overpriced Del restaurants. We had drinks, sliders, fish tacos, potato skins and a delicious dessert we were treated to for our anniversary. Our first time at this location and it will definitely be our go to now when in Coronado.

This was a classy place for brunch on San Diego's Coronado Island. The area is a bit more upscale with a great view of the water and close proximity to the hotel and neighborhoods for walking and exploring. However, inside this place, there was a more laid-back bar ambience and some good but fried dishes. We Had the Shishito peppers and the crispy shrimp, which I would recommend. We also had a classic salad and some other shareable items that weren't as memorable for me. Service was efficient. The servers know who their regulars are, which is okay. Plenty of great drink options, but not the vibe we were going for that day. Cute interior, comfy seating, clean overall, with nice decorations. Parking was relatively easy, but I would expect more difficulty during peak hours. We came in the early afternoon so we just missed the lunch crowd and were there too early to compete with the dinner patrons.

We came back here twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times were great experiences! We sat in the bar area both times - the tables and bar stools in that area are all open seating and we didn't have to wait. Both times I got the Fish n Chips. Yum! Fresh tasting fish, healthy portion provided, with the perfect crispy outside. The fries were also delicious! I like that you can do the bar portion with 2 pieces, or the lunch/dinner portion with more. My husband got the Fish n Chips during our first visit and the Fish Tacos our second visit - he enjoyed both meals. During our visit for dinner we split the Mud Pie - it was a great choice! The service was great - both our waitresses were very friendly and attentive. It's clean inside and the ambiance was great! This is definitely one of the best options for food on Coronado.

Was in San Diego for a long weekend with Wifey a couple weeks ago and my only responsibility was to choose dinner locations. My seafood diner choice was Brigantine, which was within walking distance of our hotel. Seated us inside but with a beautiful view of the sunset. Place isn't fancy for your attire. Nice shorts and a polo is perfect. We had a reservation (and it was a little early) si we were seated immediately. Waiter was Billy - who was super friendly and helped us choose our entrees and drinks. I started with a Cucumber jalapeño margarita and Wifey had the Pomegranate sangria. The drinks were great...and mine was pretty strong. For starters we tried the Baked oysters a couple on the half shell. For our entrees Wifey had the Crab stuffed shrimp and grits and I, surprisingly, chose a pretty healthy option of Wok seared ahi and vegetables. The stuffed shrimp meal was very rich (I got one of them), but delicious. My meal was fantastic and I was completely full at the end of it.

Food is delicious! The calamari, Seafood Cobb, Parmesan Crusted San Dabbs, Blackened Salmon fantastic!!! Service from beginning to end is wonderful. The ambience is so familiar, casual and sea faring classic. Brigantine is a nice restaurant for families, dates, friends to enjoy. Don't forget classic cocktails.

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

Yes, I see them often. I've brought my pup and sat on the side patio before as well.

    Do they have valet parking?

No Valet. Street parking and a small lot to the side of the building.

The service was excellent so that's all I'm going off of. The menu did look pretty fire though, so I'd be willing to give it another shot cause for all intents and purposes, the other people in the restaurant seemed to be really enjoying the food! But anyways... I'm a skillet cookie connoisseur. Any place that has a skillet cookie, I'm going there SOLEY to order it. If I ever get married, instead of having cake, my guests will be having skillet cookies for dessert instead. Some might say I love skillet cookies even more than Scottie Scheffler. My love for skillet cookies runs deeper than the Mariana trench and I've been to more than (at least) 11 restaurants to exclusively try them out. With that out of the way... I'm horrified to report this is the worst skillet cookie I've ever had in my entire life. It somehow felt overcooked, yet undercooked at the same time. It was also like they cooked it at an angle. Because it awkwardly occupied 3/4ths of the skillet. It had the consistency of a cake but the taste of a cookie? It was like they couldn't decide whether or not they wanted to make a cake or a cookie. So instead, they decided to half bake something that was in between. I couldn't believe it. It was also completely lacking in the chocolate chip department. All in all, this skillet cookie had a worse performance than Michael Jordan during his high school varsity tryouts. I'll admit it too... I completely lied to the waitress when she came over and asked me how the cookie was. Instead of telling her the truth, I gave her two thumbs up and said, " it's good!".... It was not good. It was terrible! I'm a coward.

The burger wasn't the worst burger I've ever tasted, but was drenched in mustard and grease. The fries were bland and burnt, and the fish and chips had virtually no seasoning or flavor. Our server was sweet and somewhat attentive. She checked in right after bringing our food and then we didn't see her again until we were done eating and out of drinks. I'm not saying I wouldn't recommend giving it a try, but at that price point, I expected better quality food.

He genuinely reminded me of what hospitality is supposed to be. Someone who understands that being in the service industry means taking care of your guests, treating them with kindness, and making them genuinely want to come back. He completely turned our experience around. And the food was incredible. We had the quiche, one with mixed greens and one with potatoes. Surprisingly, we actually preferred the salad over the potatoes, but the real star was the quiche itself. I can confidently say it was the best quiche I've ever had. We also tried a cronut, which was my first time having this type of pastry, and it was absolutely delicious. This is the kind of restaurant I would recommend to anyone and everyone because they don't just excel at their food, the service is equally wonderful. A restaurant can have great food, but when you combine that with people who genuinely care about the guest experience, it makes for a location you dream of coming back too. We will 1000% be back!

The appetizer Spicy Tuna was absolutely delicious, and the dessert was simply heavenly! Lastly, that Pina Colada Cocktail just couldn't be better!! If there's just one thing that could be improved was the speed of service.
