    AYCE menu

Great AYCE sushi spot! Everything we ordered from the all-you-can-eat menu was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The variety was impressive, and every roll we tried was well prepared. My favorite was the negi toro as it was so fresh and buttery, and the crispy rice is another favorite. My only suggestion would be to provide a little more information about serving sizes on some menu items. A few dishes were much larger or smaller than expected. Overall, the quality of the food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the AYCE experience and price were definitely worth it. 4 stars due to service being inconsistent every time we go.

Yummy Sushi continues to be our favorite Ayce of all times! Every roll and piece of fish is made to perfection. I will be a regular as long as I live in SD.

I wanted to check this place out after seeing it several times in Instagram. Pros: - Friday lunch was a breeze; no wait. - Lower tier ($45) for the options they have sounds about right. Quality is decent considering it's an AYCE place; I would say it's actually on the better side. - Spicy yellowtail ACTUALLY has a kick. I'm used to places saying it's spicy and it's...not. - The place looks fairly small, but they have some outdoor seating with an awesome view. Cons: - Parking is difficult in general in Coronado so no shock here. - Avoid the mix sushi sashimi...it definitely was on the fishier side. - Service is somewhat slow? I noticed that only one person took orders for the whole place during lunch time. - Rice to fish ratio can be worked on..I've never had so much rice in my handrolls before.

The view is romantic and the food is great. Went straight ti the patio and had all you can eat sushi. It was Really good and tasted fresh. The service was good they were on top of it. Parking sucks in the area but a walk before and after food is good for us right? Eat drink and walk to the beach. Sounds like a WIN!!

Beautiful views of the beach. Come right before sunset. Service is attentive and food is delicious. We ordered the Hawaiian Special, Black Dragon and 3 Amigos rolls. 3 Amigos was my fave. Highly recommend. All were tasty!

Hooohh, this is unexpected. I like this joint a lot. I kinda want to give this 5 stars, but I feel like that would cause me to lose any credibility I have left. Because Yelp reviewers have so much credibility, right? The unique location makes the building a stretched triangle and gives it a certain vibe. I ordered 3 things and was extremely surprised by all 3. First, I had a spicy salmon sophia bowl. I had no clue what a "sophia" bowl is, and after a brief search, it appears that Google has no clue what a "sophia" bowl is either. I'm very curious as to how this place landed on the name "sophia" bowl. I assume this used to be or came from the "crispy rice (6 pieces)" on a previous version of their menu. If so, I guess this is better. It's just a salmon donburi, but I think it's rather different than what Americans would expect from a "poke" bowl in San Diego nowadays. There's not a ton of other ingredients, and while there's sauces that enhance the taste, it really just focuses on the interaction between the salmon, rice, and crispy rice. Ironically, this style of salmon rice bowl is more Japanese than your typical San Diego poke bowl, which is more of a Hawaii staple. I loved it and thought the texture and umami came together really well. Next, I had a few takoyaki. The plating for this is not very convincing. There's no bonito flakes and pretty light on the green onion also. There's plenty of mayo I suppose. The takoyaki themselves though, are fantastic. These are big, crisp, and hot, although still not as hot as I like. The texture is really on point. For as big as they are, maybe they could've put slightly more tako in it. Oh, also no pickled ginger, but I realize I forgot to check if there were any on the bar. Finally, I had a miso ramen, which was also interesting. Was it the best ramen in town? Definitely not. Was it at least amazing? Also no. However, it was.....really properly Japanese in a way that's hard to explain. Like, this is the ramen a Japanese chef would make if they had to make a cheap bowl of ramen with almost no resources. LOL Like, it has a lot of noodle. An average American would simply complain that it's too much noodle, but I would argue this is the correct ratio in traditional East Asian cuisine. We have a concept called 主食 shushoku or zhu shi in Mandarin. For ramen, the "staple food" is the noodles themselves, which should be the focus. In Japan, it is normal for ramen joints to have a noodle refill option, and that will be one of the most common requests from customers. The noodles themselves are some pretty cheap stuff though. On top of that, it has a bit of seaweed, green onion, and bean sprouts, which are all ubiquitous ramen toppings. The toppings it's missing are stuff like corn, mushrooms, kamaboko, etc., which while present in ramen, aren't always present and/or are more common in American-Japanese ramen. The pork belly is small, but the texture and appearance are both very standard. Also important, the broth is surprisingly soothing. Some ramen made by people that don't know what they're doing make a broth with a thin consistency that give them away. Well, a lot of times, there's just not much emulsified, which makes it more flavored water than an actual broth. While this broth isn't super intense or complicated, it has a well-measured saltiness and consistency that reminds me of average ramen shops in Japan. For that, I love this broth; I could drink it every day. For the record, I am far more likely to come back here again than Saiko Sushi at least, even if just to ask y'all a bunch of food weeb questions.

Main points: - Limitations in both types of all you can eat - Good Service I just gone with my family to this place, and did not order any food from here, since it is not truly an all you can eat place. They have limitations on their all you can eat. For example, you can only have one order of Sashimi throughout your whole time of all you can eat. Which, is not all you can eat when you're limited to the amount of food you can eat . If you don't care for that then, it may be a nice place for you. The service was nice, and so was the atmosphere as well. There is an ocean view outside, but no one, including my family were able to sit there because they didn't have a waiter for that area to cover there. There is 2 different entrance but it will both lead you to the place. I wish I could have had a better experience here, but I hope for those who do go take this into consideration and those in your party.

Yummy sushi is a must go while on Coronado Island. The view from the second floor restaurant is exceptional, especially at sunset. Sorry I didn't post any food pictures, I was too busy eating. Bella was our server and she was fantastic. We will be back.

Finally tried yummy sushi today and it met expectations. We got the $89 premium menu and I don't think it's worth it! The food took awhile to come out but the server did say the premium items do take some time. You are able to order everything on the premium order once so we got everything on there. Mostly nigiri and sashimi which was what I was craving. Some of those items were a little fishy to me but that's to be expected at AYCE. I definitely got full off of this but feel like the $45 is a better deal. If I came back I wouldn't do the premium because didn't meet the quality as I'd like. However other than that the team was nice, service a bit slow compared to how many workers there were and the place was nice and clean.

Ambience great, food great, service great!! The AYCE on fire !!! I def recommend this place to anyone craving AYCE! The view is beautiful too!!

The food is good, but the service could be improved. With the price of AYCE, I would expect a slightly higher level of service. 1. From our initial order, I requested lemons, wasabi, and ginger (2) for myself and my husband. 2. we dined in at 19:00, 19:45, we put in our last order, and we never got the lemon, even though I had constantly asked our service for lemon. 3. We placed our last order as shown in the picture at 19:45, and we didn't get it until 08:20. I have to notify our server around 08:10 that we still do not have our order. 4.I ordered a mojito, it was straight sugar, I added water, and it was still very sweet. 5. There are a lot of missing items in our order, and given that it is AYCE, you would think they would have an electronic system to place orders. My first visit here, and I will not be returning; the all-you-can-eat prices are attached to our last order.

Ok I saw something on the menu I've never had before. I tried it. It was completely different from anything I've ever had. It was full of everything I wanted. Chirashi means "scattered sushi" and it was scattered with everything I liked over rice. Service was not messing around either. They are super helpful and fun. I've been here before and they're consistently clean and neat and the bathrooms are always clean.

Our first night (yes, we went twice) we booked on OpenTable. We were kindly greeted to their wonderful atmosphere with smiles and asked where we would like to sit. We chose a table inside and the hostess actually noticed we had requested an outside table and came to ask us if we wanted to switch. We thanked her, but decided to stay inside. Jacob was our server, he greeted us, told us the specials, and asked if we had questions or would like to start with a drink. We ordered drinks while we decided on dinner. We have a standing rule when there are meatballs on an appetizer menu we have to order them. We are happy we did, they came out in a wonderful sauce, and they were tender and flavorful. As we looked at the menu selections a woman at the table next to us said, "This is the best lasagna I've ever had" and that solidified my wife's choice. I decided on the fettuccine alfredo. While waiting for our entrees, Jacob brought out some amazing bread that seems like it was grilled slightly with butter, it was great while waiting. Our entrees arrived and they looked amazing. The lasagna was beautiful, fresh, cooked to perfection and flavored beautifully. My fettuccine was cooked perfect al dente and obviously tossed in olive oil and garlic before placing it on the sauce. Reading the reviews that say there isn't enough sauce is incorrect in my opinion. The balance of the perfectly cooked pasta, tossed in flavorful oil and garlic allows you to put just the right amount of sauce without losing the other flavors. If you want a large bowl of sauce and some noodle, just go to Olive Garden. We finished the night off with some limoncello cake (amazing) and walked back to our hotel room after everybody wished us a wonderful evening. How could we not go back after that experience? So we did. Once again we made reservations on OpenTable and walked down to Vinarius from our hotel. Jacob and Giuseppe among others recognized us from the previous night and warmly welcomed us. Jacob said he was working a different section, and Paula would be our server. At first we were disappointed, until we met Paula. She was so full of energy and happiness that it was infectious. We started with drinks and this time Caesar salads for an appetizer. You can tell when a salad is fresh, the dressing house made and croutons that definitely didn't come out of a bag. I'm pretty sure they were made in a similar fashion to the bread the night before. Paula, Jacob and the gentleman who refills water were attentive and fun. There was a running joke that my wife could get her water refilled before the gentleman made it to our table. It just made the evening that much more fun. We both ordered the Margarita pizza for our entree. We LOVE pizza, we make it fresh at home and appreciate a great pizza. This pizza was so simple, fresh and perfectly baked. The crust was crisp, soft and flavorful in the middle and topped with a simple tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil. We ordered another limoncello cake and shots to finish off the night. We asked Jacob if anybody there was related, he said no, but they feel like family. That is obvious. We then pulled Giuseppe aside and asked if he was the manager, and he said yes. We told him how great everything from service to the food was. Everybody there is genuine, and wanting to make your experience special and amazing. As we were leaving Giuseppe thanked us again, shook our hands and gave us each a hug. Everybody once again wished us a great night and trip back home the next day. Please experience this amazing restaurant, it's worth your time and your money. We will be back when we visit San Diego again.
