Peohe's in Coronado is the most reviewed restaurant so I had to see. The restaurant appears a bit dated but was clean and presented nicely. There's interior and exterior seating, but with sunny San Diego weather, seating outside umbrella shades and waterfront views is preferred. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and nice, special thanks to our server Elle who had a positive attitude. The food selections were excellent. We ordered the seafood pasta, sesame crusted salmon for entrees and both were delicious. The Peohe salad and the red velvet cake were also yummy. This restaurant is part of the Chart House collection of restaurants throughout the nation, so most of the menu selections will be similar. Despite the common thread, the service, food and ambience were all fantastic. Recommend

Came here on a Saturday for lunch and absolutely loved it. We shared quite a few dishes and everything was great. The salmon on the bento box was 10/10. I shared fish and chips with one of my friends and we both really enjoyed it. The drinks were pretty good, however I think the food is what really made the experience so great. And the view!

First time dining at Peohe's!!! The staff were friendly and willing to assist. The fish was delightful, tasty and delicious. This place is so romantic whether dining inside or outside with heaters. This eatery is part of the Landry chain. Give this place a try if you ever visit Coronado, San Diego.

I absolutely love Peohe's. The waterfront view is stunning. The poke is my fave...super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. Happy Hour is also a great deal, with food specials around $6-$12 and solid drink prices...$5.50 beers, $6 well drinks, and $9-$10 signature cocktails. Amazing views, great poke, and one of my favorite Happy Hours in Coronado!

Had a wonderful dinner at Peohe's. The view is spectacular and the inside is gorgeous with coral rock and a waterfall. My sever Hailey was superb and knowledgeable and the manager Scott we chatted with was also very terrific. Lamp chops were the best and juicy. Sea bass was fresh and moist, and the chocolate bourbon old fashioned was the best I've had in a while. Looking forward to coming back !

Monday evening about 4:30 PM and I think the restaurant was a bit understaffed. There was no hostess as we entered and we weren't sure if they were even open for business except that we saw people sitting at the patio. Also, there were two ladies before us who said that there was someone working but she didn't come back yet and they've decided to leave so we could take their spot. Soon after a host appeared and put us on the waitlist. The restaurant was pretty empty. Nobody in the indoor dining area. We asked to be seated in the dining area and they places us in an enclosed patio which turned out perfect. We had a beautiful view and we had prompt service with recommendations and time to review our menus. However, they placed our appetizer before we got our waters. The Coconut Crunchy Shrimp was excellent and I ordered the Spider Roll which was delicious. My friend ordered the Salmon Aloha Catch, she asked how did they sauce the salmon but I think her question stumped the server and he said in a pan (you had your choice of grilled, baked, blackened and sautéed). She said the salmon was good but her veggies needed some salt. We were celebrating her birthday and a dessert with a candle is always a nice touch. I'll be back next week for another birthday celebration as this restaurant was the choice of the celebrant.

Came here for Valentine's Day and although the wait was longer than anticipated, with a reservation, it was understandable for the day. Nevertheless it was a great dinner with an amazing view of the city and our server was nice and attentive, which made the wait all that much more worth it. Steak was tender, lobster was fresh, views unmatched. Made our 15th Valentines Dinner memorable. Definitely coming back for another special dinner in the future.

My wife, son, and I came here for lunch and this place is amazing on Coronado Island. Highly recommend sitting on the patio area and enjoying the downtown San Diego views from the water. Restaurant is huge and plenty of seating so it's easy to walk in or make reservation. Great food options, you won't be disappointed!

For Restaurant Week, we were in search for a waterfront restaurant to maximize our dining experience. We had a few options to consider and decided on Peohe's. They say it's a favorite in Coronado and very well known for its fresh tropical seafood dishes but the proof is in the pudding--we had to see about that. It was easy to get to by car plus a parking lot is available at Coronado Ferry Landing Marketplace. We could've taken the ferry for the full-on waterfront experience but wanted to have ample time for dinner. When we entered this modern-looking wood and glass building, it's island-inspired interior had a posh flair. We immediately requested outdoor seating. And once we got there, OMG what a stunning harbor view!! Later on, we witnessed a few times the ferry swirling into the landing at the dock. Our waiter and other staff provided a warm-friendly service even the people dining there were friendly too creating an inviting laid-back atmosphere. Come to find out, "Peohe's" is a Hawaiian word meaning "Gathering of Friends". What a beautiful evening in good company and surroundings! I felt like I was on vacation. The Restaurant Week menu had some really great options for our palates. Our dinner ended up to be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Hands down, Peohe's is the BEST restaurant. Highly recommend it!! We look forward to returning :-)

This restaurant was really great! Not only is it beautiful, it has a gorgeous view on the water. I had the blackened salmon and my husband had the blackened swordfish. Both of them were delicious! We had mud pie for dessert and it was okay but the roasted almonds on top were sort of overpowering. The wait staff was excellent and the food was served perfectly. Highly recommend.

I decided to go to here for SDRW since it's been awhile since I've been here. We were seated next to window which allowed us amazing views of the water. Three course dinner $50 Peohe's Salad - Really loved the candied walnuts and freshness of the vinaigrette. It was actually so much I almost couldn't finish. Fireside Salmon - So tender and the piece was actually a big piece. Crème Brûlée - Smooth with a perfect crust. Loved the Fizz & Bergamont - Pretty drink and not too alcohol. I did take away star because we weren't paid attention as much as we would have liked. We had to flag down the waiters to refill our drinks or get anything else we needed. Otherwise, food and view was great and I would return again.

    Haha........

There were plenty of open tables, but we still waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The patio view was beautiful, and the oysters and mojito sampler were great. I wouldn't recommend the platter. The sushi was really disappointing -- the rice tasted too vinegary and there was barely any filling. Overall, great view and drinks, but the platter was not good....

All the seafood tasted really fresh and the platter was a great variety to try a bunch of things. My favorite was the the ceviche and the swordfish dip. Nothing was overly salty either. Fried rice tasted really decadent but it was yummy. Fries were thinner cut and crispy. The only slight letdown was the octopus. Kind of chewy and a small size for the price. Drinks did take a bit to come out but it was really busy. We were able to get a couple rounds of drinks and they gave us a couple free drinks to celebrate the bachelorette.

We ordered a cioppino, a clam chowder in a sourdough bowl, fish and chips, and a dozen oysters. I noticed she shouted the soup orders back to the kitchen but didn't say a word about the fish and chips. Our soups and oysters arrived after 15 minutes, but another 30 minutes passed with no sign of the rest of the meal. When I followed up with the same waitress to check on the status, she looked at the order and flatly told me there were no fish and chips on there. By that point, the restaurant was already closing. The wonton crisps added a crunch factor and dry texture when mixed with the poke and avocado. I ordered the salmon with a side of broccolini and Chinese sausage. The salmon was exquisite, crunchy, and so much flavor when mixed with the risotto. The broccolini had a great char, soaked up the juices from the Chinese sausage, and tasted so well together. Luckily the ambiance and setting of this place kept us relaxed and calm, and the weather was beautiful!!! We were both pleased with the food when it finally came and were so hungry that we ate the plates clean. After we finished eating, Christina was sweet and sang happy birthday to my girlfriend, lighting a candle on the brownie dessert plate we chose. It was very soft and warm, deliciously created with the caramel and chocolate drizzles!!! Overall a fantastic end to our night, so we were very grateful. As we were leaving, many people were coming in and I'm sure it was because they were trying to get the sunset views. Such a nice classy place to go out and eat at!!! Perfect for a seafood craving as well.
