Brickhouse is our go to for catering. Love the people, and they serve delicious food. Best brisket in Columbia.

$30 for a lb of bbq, buns and 2 sides. To go order. Worst bbq I've ever tried to eat. Will not be back. Nolen's, why did you leave?

Long wait time for only 2lbs of meat. The brisket left much to be desired. Owner was also extremely rude.

I like to sample a variety, so I went with the Bobby's Usual of brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and pulled pork with Bobo's Hot Corn + Hillbilly Beans. He offered onions, pickles, and jalapeños as side condiments along with their homemade BBQ sauce. I initially sampled the meats without sauce, but I have to say the sweet/smoky flavor of the sauce is a great compliment to the meats. You can tell Bobby learned his trade from Texas...solid brisket with a thin fat cap with a nice peppery crust. The pulled pork was perfect...moist and tender but still maintaining firmness. While the sausage is not made in-house, you could have fooled me. Nice crispy skin with a good jalapeño kick and plenty of cheese. The sides are exceptional! I loved the sweetness of the beans, and the Bobo Corn (I believe it's grandma's recipe) was addicting. Don't let the name fool you...there's a little heat, but the flavors are wonderful. I chopped a bit of onion and pork into the beans, a great flavor combination. The atmosphere is bright and open with some Texas decor...great place for family. Really good food and excellent service from this TX style BBQ spot...looking forward to my next visit to Columbia for more.

The Pepper Popper Burger was outstanding--juicy smash burger patties topped with spicy cream cheese, bacon, jalapeño poppers, and hot pepper bacon jam. It hit that perfect balance of savory, smoky, sweet, and spicy without any one flavor overpowering the others. The burger was cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor in every bite. The crispy Brussels sprouts were a pleasant surprise and paired really well with the burger. I do wish they had some sort of sauce to dip them in or to pour over. They were certainly good on their own. The pork rinds were fresh, light, and crispy--not greasy at all. They made for a great appetizer and were perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh. Eighth & Main is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!

The food is definitely made fresh and to order vs. being fast food. The dining room is large with lots of tables and booths. There are a few more near the entrance too. I ordered the Fungus Among Us. It was a double smash burger with Swiss and mushrooms. The burger was tasty and the bun was nice and buttery. The sweet and spicy Brussels sprouts were simple and tasty. My husband had the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and thought it was pretty good. My daughter had the kid's meal with a corn dog and fries. She enjoyed it. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're in this area and craving a burger.

You order at a counter, receive a number for your table and fill your own drinks. Our food was hot when it arrived and lived up to the hype. You can order 5 levels of spice, "original"- no spice, "cry baby"-mild, "stop, drop and roll"- medium to hot , "Rambo"- hot and "executioner"-super hot. You get a side with your meal. Try the beans. The place was busy with a hearty lunch time crowd. We want to go back and try the Rambo level- well my husband does anyway!

Two orders came out quickly, the other seemed to be forgotten until she walked up and asked where her food was. It was fresh and delicious when it came out but she didn't get to eat her food at the restaurant because it took so long and we had places to be. My ghost fries were fresh and crunchy, not soggy, yay. And they add a lot of flavor, spice, and chicken in the basket. Parking was a little difficult to find but not horrible. The place was clean and the hostess was pleasant. The food really is great, and the portions are nice; they just need to work on filling the orders instead of forgetting customers.

When I arrived, the hostess was polite and helpful. I grabbed a menu and was directed to the bar to place my takeout order. I was the only person at the bar at the time. The bartender came over and asked what I was drinking. I don't drink alcohol, so I mentioned I was just there to place a to-go order. Without a word, she walked away. After I had decided what I wanted, I placed the menu down -- a pretty clear sign I was ready to order. Another customer walked in, sat at the bar, and was immediately helped by the bartender, who took his order and served his drink. Then she left the bar entirely, walking past two servers who were just standing at the end of it. What surprised me most was that the hostess noticed I was still sitting there. She kindly asked if I had been helped. I told her no. She approached the two servers and asked if one of them could take my order, and instead of helping, they actually argued with her about who should do it. She eventually walked away, and I was left sitting there -- completely ignored. This level of service is unacceptable. It's frustrating to see restaurants hike up their prices in the name of "paying staff a living wage" when the staff can't even be bothered to do the bare minimum -- like take an order from a waiting customer. Needless to say, I won't be back. And as for DoorDash -- while our first order was edible, it arrived cold, which has been a rare issue in my experience with the platform.
