Food was good, atmosphere was cozy, service was good but they were so busy doing this and that they weren't at the table enough. Would visit again.

My friend and I ate lunch at the Square Market & Cafe. It was a Thursday around noon, and there wasn't a wait, which is nice. They have a spacious restaurant inside, as well as a few tables outside. We snagged the last available table outside because it was a beautiful day! I ordered the BLT with crispy bacon & regular mayonnaise. It was delicious and just how I like it! When I ask for crispy bacon at other places, it doesn't always come out right. My friend got a club that looked really good, too! We both got waters at first, but didn't love the taste. So I ordered lemonade next and enjoyed it. The prices were average. The menu is pretty large too. They have soups, sandwiches, and salads, but they also have entrees and pasta dishes.

I should have trusted my instincts when I walked in the door. I should have turned around and left. The stunned looks on the faces of the staff was my first warning. "Uh oh! People" The tired furniture and ambience was my second warning. But the food... oh the food! Cheese sauces straight out of a can, drenching the plates. Well-meaning servers could not salvage this experience. Absolutely terrible. Avoid.

Such a cute little cafe on the square! I came for lunch with a friend one day. There wasn't a wait and it was a pretty day, so we sat outside! Our server was so kind. We originally both got waters, but it tasted a little funny so she brought us different drinks. I ordered the Square Market Club Panini. It was HUGE! And delicious. It came with chips and a pickle. Prices were average and their menu is massive! There are so many options!

They have the best Chicken Marsala and Tomato Artichoke soup to die for! We came here couple times and everything is spot on! If you like fruit tea, try the cranberry cocktail with a squeeze of lemon. It is so delightful. They have exceptional guest service here. No hassle

My wife and I found this place hidden in a corner on the square in Columbia, TN. We walked in and were met by friendly staff who gave us a table immediately. The place was small, but very unique. We both ordered the soup and sandwich combo. The tomato artichoke soup was amazing! The sandwiches were very good as well. We have found a new favorite place to eat and afterwards we walked around the square visiting some of the shops. We highly recommend coming here, just get there early. The carrot cake was just right to finish the meal!

It looks great! Upon arrival, we spotted a case of about 4-5 different pies. Some were whole pies and others had slices cut out. There was nobody at the counter and there was not really a sign explaining how they sale. A lady sitting at the window behind the kitchen asked "Do you need something? Are you getting a pie?" oddly, and didn't seem eager to help. Once she came around, we each (a family of three), got a single slice of pie and bottled drink. The total was $35. It felt a little steep for the size of pie and quality of service. Since we were out shopping and it was raining outside, it was also disappointing they only had one table inside to eat at-- which was occupied. I feel they could add another table or two near the front window-- or even a counter against the wall with stools. Service could also be better. I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup pie. It was a traditional fudge pie with peanut butter drizzle across the top. It tasted very fresh and yummy. The pie crust had a great taste and the peanut butter was a nice addition to the rich and creamy fudge pie. I would return!

Realistically, I think it ranks somewhere in between, hence the four stars. At $8.78 per slice. including tax, the quality matches the price considering the cost of ingredients these days. Pie Sensations has quite the reputation in Middle Tennessee. It's located on the southwest corner of the adorable, vibrant square in Columbia, sandwiched between A Balloon Shop and Daniel's Barber Shop. You won't see the sign until you walk right up to the store. Delicious smells of baking pies fill this charming, deceivingly roomy space with a counter in front of the tiny kitchen, a display case, and a few tables. Personally, I'm a pie crust hater as it's often brittle and flavorless. But the crust at Pie Sensations is really good, perfectly flaky and complementary to the pies. I actually at the entire crust which is rare! There are two types of pecan pie in this world. Some prefer the rigid, thicker filling. Others like a gooey, almost liquid interior. While I prefer the thicker version, the very runny pecan pie at Pie Sensations was admittedly tasty, although not my preferred texture. It's properly sweet but not overly done with high quality and very fresh ingredients. The chess pie has that quintessential flavor of a southern classic, maybe not sweet enough for my taste but delicately balanced flavor for all palates. Their top seller, the chocolate turtle pie, was a bit too chocolatey for my personal preference. But again, the quality is obvious with a thick chocolate filling topped with caramel and pecans. While I wouldn't drive the hour from Nashville to Columbia again just to eat a slice of pie at Pie Sensations - unlike other remarkable destinations to which I'll eagerly drive three or four hours - I would encourage anyone near Columbia to sample this delicious and expertly made product! If you're in the area, it's a nice stop for dessert.

We would have gone all in with a Cinnamon roll. Those suckers are the size of plates! What a ground floor.
