Blackberry Peach Pie Peanut Butter Silk Pie

Unreal Pies! Some of the best pie I've had! This is homemade pie at its finest. Got greeted with a friendly welcome and then had some of the tastiest pie with unreal fresh filling, crumbly topping and a thin flakey crust. This review might be simple but don't underestimate these delicious pies!! loved these Blackberry Peach & Peanut Butter Silk Pies!

Fun day out with friends with yummy pie! The key lime, coconut crème, and chocolate pies were excellent and just the right amount of sweetness. It was definitely more than 3.14 stars in my book!

I was in Columbia, Tennessee on business and a client recommended that I stop here for an afternoon snack. She assured me that the experience would be life changing. Well, how could anyone pass that up? I headed to Columbia's quaint downtown area and found this pleasant shop and walking in was greeted by a friendly woman behind the counter. After perusing the various options, I elected to try a slice of pie made with peanut butter, a personal weakness. The pie was amazing. This is by no means similar to a pie you buy from a supermarket. This pie is beyond such sugary indulgences. This pie possessed a perfect texture and the quality ingredients shine through and made this beyond a quick snack. It was an indulgence upon my palette, a luxury created by someone obviously passionate about the craft. If you find yourself in the area, seek them out. They also told me they can shop anywhere.

Mississippi Mud Pie, where's the real marshmallow cream!?

Have gotten pies from pie Sensations twice now, and there are three of us in our little family, and we've gotten plenty both times to share between each other. Wasn't a fan of their chocolate chess pie. The pies with fudge pie in it are delicious! Chocolate cream was okay.. I didn't like the blackberry pie for the simple fact that I don't and can't eat the seeds. The strawberry cheesecake is okay. It's whipped but the cream cheese is a bit lacking. Mississippi mud pie is delicious but where is the marshmallow?? There's barely any in it and you can't taste it one bit! The m and m pie is delicious. Especially warmed up. Turtle is good. Their truffles are some of the best I've had in Tennesse. Their dirt pie is...... okay? With the two to three layers of "Oreo crust" within the pie, unfortunately that's all you CAN taste! Which is a shame because you can tell the chocolate and vanilla pudding would probably be amazing if you could actually taste the puddings, but instead all you taste is crushed Oreos without the cream. It would do wonders if they would just keep the Oreo crust strictly on the bottom, where it should be and stay. Also got a peanut butter cupcake, and was pretty disappointed with it. The icing did have an extremely light peanut butter flavor, but mostly I just tasted fatty ness with the tiniest hint of sweetness. The actual cake was a nice chocolate flavor that was somehow moist and yet really dry. How does that even happen?? But the first thing he ordered yesterday for me was the peanut butter pie and I don't have it at all! The very first thing! And the other thing that gets to me is that both times, he never got a receipt. Overall, the pie is good. I don't always like the crust, the typical standard pie crust they have is bland and tasteless. That's kind of sad for me. I wasn't thrilled with the top out crust on the blackberry pie either. Kind of like a crumble that got too moist. I'd say there definitely is a pie for anyone that could possibly rock their world in this little shop! Just like with most places, there are ups and downs that are going to be the same or different for another person. Wish they had been opened when I lived in Columbia, but I reckon that's when they were walking door to door selling their pies.

There you'll find some, not a lot, of delicious baked goods. It's more about the building of rather than the doughnuts themselves. You choose a base doughnut as your foundation then you go nuts with the toppings. And toppings there are. Creamy, gooey, crunchy, some healthy looking, some healthy sounding, something for everyone. In this case the everyone were two of my grandchildren and did they ever go at it! One chose a powdered doughnut as their foundation and the other a glazed. They spent, it seems, like 5 minutes each choosing and directing the pile that was put on top. Both masterpieces in their own right. While they were chomping on these concoctions, my daughter and I were discussing how we would have attacked. First of all, we wouldn't have chosen a wimpy doughnut for the base. We would have gone all in with a Cinnamon roll. Those suckers are the size of plates! What a ground floor. Top it with apples, apple butter and caramel drizzle and you've got a caramel apple cinnamon work of art! Now we're talking. Try it for yourself. After all it's only like a billion calories. Quick Tip: The doughnuts are shaped as triangles. You can always tell yourself that you're teaching the kids trigonometry.

It's a humble little shop inside, but everything on the shelves appeared to be unquestionably authentic. Fresh pasta & sauces, balsamic vinegar, infused olive oils... Shops like these are a rare gem in the states, let alone Middle Tennessee! Originally propelled by curiosity to enter the store and not planning on purchasing anything, the baked goods became a nonnegotiable upon seeing them. We snagged a lobster tail filled with lemon whipped cream & a slice of carrot cake and rushed out to a picnic table to dig in! The lobster tail is the stuff of poems: The pastry was audibly crisp and flakey, and the inside was busting with a lightly citrusy lemon creme -- it tasted like a Spring day; like Easter egg hunting and lawn clippings and chicks hatching. I cannot wait to return and try a sandwich and a freshly filled cannoli!

I stopped in and felt like I time traveled to New Jersey which made me feel like I have a piece of home in TN now. They had authentic pastries that most Tennesseans probably have never heard of before. Classic options like Sfogliatella, black and whites, cannolis, rainbow cookies. A lot of good homemade options. They also have frozen meals that have prepped. I'd be curious to see how the sandwiches are as well. If you are from the north east and miss the bakeries back home this may be the only thing close in middle TN. Must try!

We tried the egg salad, chicken salad, the viral hot cocoa with the peppermint marshmallow, plus a few bakery treats because obviously we have no self-control. That cocoa??? Unreasonably good. It's a bit cramped inside, but everything about it is gorgeous. A quaint, charming tea room. My ONLY complaint and this is truly nit-picky is that I wish my biscuit had been warmed up. I LOVE a good bakery and I am kinda spoiled by over 30 years in San Francisco, where there is a great one every few blocks. I just found all the photos on my phone and realized I had not reviewed this place from last month's mini vacation. And honestly I know we got like 4 things for 4 of us to take home and snack on for the next day or so, but I don;t recall all the things we got EXCEPT for the white almond frosted cake(slice, but in a round shape). Everyone agree it was the one to beat, and not to take the crown, but it was the one that I chose. This reminds me that I need to find all the bakeries near me now that do "cake tasting" boxes and just treat myself every once in a while!!

With an impressive 4.77 rating across all user-driven platforms online (108 total votes and…read morecounting), you would imagine Fresh Donuts would live up to the hype. On paper - actually on an Excel spreadsheet I created - those scores rank them as the third best donuts in Middle Tennessee! Having now eaten at the entire top 25 donut spots, I can provide my impartial review. I found this tiny, unassuming shop in a strip mall with no sign. Unlabeled with a lackluster, no-frills interior, you'll find the secret store adjacent to a Fantastic Sam's southwest of downtown Columbia. In the first few bites, I realized that the donuts at Fresh Donuts were shockingly mediocre for such lofty ratings. But you must consider that a Columbia 4.77 isn't a Nashville 4.77. In a smaller town with fewer bakery options, ratings are always going to be skewed higher. That's true throughout the country. To pull off a 4.77 in Nashville is nearly impossible unless you have a really special product that distinguishes itself among some serious competition! So you must temper your expectations in a town of fewer than 50,000. The maple frosted donut here, my favorite donut flavor, wasn't bad. But it struck me as average and unremarkable. The cinnamon twist wasn't as light and airy as some of the exemplary versions you'll find in Nashville, and the cinnamon was nearly undetectable. While the donuts were fresh even in the late afternoon with a dwindling supply, which is impressive and lives up to the name Fresh Donuts, I wouldn't make this a destination for Nashvillians who are thinking of driving an hour down to Columbia. If you happen to be in Columbia, yes, this is a good stop for donuts. But don't make a road trip out of it just to sample what are allegedly the third-best donuts in the region. They simply aren't what the ratings imply, and I made the trip so you wouldn't have to.
