What a great bakery and coffee shop. The owner loves horses, this the name honoring the prestigious award in horse racing. We ordered several bakery items to go, and an iced coffee. They had several milk options on the coffee bar for self serve. I chose almond milk. This place is cute enough to spend an afternoon if we had the time.
I've walked into this place a few times and each time always greeted and welcomed! Staff is great and helpful! Stopped in during the holiday season and it was busy! Their tea service looks great and hot chocolate is amazing! Stopped in to grab a pavlova and cranberry orange scone to go! The scone is delicious and enormous! Pavlova was delicate and delicious. The place is super cute and some sitting indoors and outdoors. Also has a few spots to park if you're picking up (short term parking).
Loved. Everything. About. This. Place. We hit it when it was busy and still somehow got in and out without chaos, which already had me impressed. We tried the egg salad, chicken salad, the viral hot cocoa with the peppermint marshmallow, plus a few bakery treats because obviously we have no self-control. That cocoa??? Unreasonably good. Like I'd go back just for that. They had kid sizes too, which is a major plus. They've got patio seating, which is always a yes, and the staff was super friendly even while moving at full-speed. It's a bit cramped inside, but everything about it is gorgeous. A quaint, charming tea room. My ONLY complaint and this is truly nit-picky is that I wish my biscuit had been warmed up. Will definitely return!
This is such a cute addition to this town! We did not come for tea service, but rather for the opportunity to sample some of their sweet and savory pastries. We tried the peanut butter bomb, the pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting, the vegetarian quiche, and a sampler of their tea cakes. My favorite item was the pumpkin cake! It was so moist and not too sweet, which was balanced out with the thick frosting. I would probably skip the tea cakes because they were premade and the bread was on the dry side. I did appreciate that they asked if we wanted our quiche warmed up which we took advantage of. The iced tea was also nice and refreshing for a hot day.

The lemon blueberry cake is to DIE for and the tiramisu is a close second!! Will have to come back for their tea service!!
Stopped in today for the viral hot chocolate and I also ordered the potato quiche. They both were really delicious and the associates were very friendly and nice! The space is quaint and small, so getting there early is your best bet. They also sale whole cakes, cookies and pastries!

We got their brewed coffee, coffee cake muffin, pumpkin scone and savory quiche and nothing disappointed. The muffin was so moist. The service was so friendly and helped while making decisions. Came here while on a trip with my friend and it was so nice to come to this sweet cafe! We ordered the tea service and they were accommodating for my friend's dairy allergy. The decor has a lot of horses and antiques. We had a great time and it was very inexpensive!

I had one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had at Triple Crown Bakery. It was perfection! And such cute presentation. The bakery is adorable and delicious. My husband and his friend had the chocolate chip cookies and they both really enjoyed them. The ladies at the counter were very kind and patient with our indecisiveness haha. This is a great little bakery with lots of charm. We loved the outdoor seating and if we're ever back in Franklin we will definitely stop by!
Love! As you already know from the pics, this is in a small house. When you walk in, the bakery case is right in front of you. It's a very small space by the door where you wait. Don't be overwhelmed by the line because it moves fast, and it looks worse than it is since the space is so small. We met people in line who had already been there once that day and were back for seconds. They have a variety of things and they cycle through new things throughout the day. They even have several gluten free options and several coffee, tea, or hot chocolate drinks. I opted for the fruit tea, and it was nice. Sweet tea but not too sweat. We also got the s'mores tart, coconut custard cake, double chocolate cookie and an oatmeal cookie. The biscuits looked great. Ugh I regret not getting one. Everything was wonderful. The coconut custard cake was my fav. I didn't care for the whipped cream on top only because I don't like whipped cream. But after ditching that mmmmm the cake was so light and coconutty. It's a 10 for me. The s'mores tart was stellar and served on a graham cracker crust that was chunky and yummy. Both cookies were nice and chewy. If I lived closer, I'd go every day to see what's new.
Such a cute spot for a sweet treat! My partner and I decided to stop in to split a post-lunch sweet treat, and their peanut butter chocolate dessert was incredible. The peanut butter was fluffy and the rich chocolate complimented it perfectly (the decorative chocolate piece on top was also a nice touch). The inside of the bakery was cute and cozy, and the outside tables would be an excellent spot to relax on a less hot day. I can't wait to come back and try their other sweets next time I'm in the area. read more

The front of the shop was inviting and cute!!! Upon entering staff were also welcoming as was the smell!!! I chose the tiramisu and husband chose the key lime tart. We also each had coffee. It was quiet and each item was especially tasty! The decor was great for a girls tea experience. (Not that my husband minded) I also got a giant croissant to go! I am overall quite happy with everything here!! And I am very glad we happened upon the establishment!! read more
We were walking around downtown Franklin, and if I walk by a bakery,, I am going to go in and "look" (and look usually means I am gonna get something "for later". I LOVE a good bakery and I am kinda spoiled by over 30 years in San Francisco, where there is a great one every few blocks. I just found all the photos on my phone and realized I had not reviewed this place from last month's mini vacation. And honestly I know we got like 4 things for 4 of us to take home and snack on for the next day or so, but I don;t recall all the things we got EXCEPT for the white almond frosted cake(slice, but in a round shape). Everyone agree it was the one to beat, and not to take the crown, but it was the one that I chose. This reminds me that I need to find all the bakeries near me now that do "cake tasting" boxes and just treat myself every once in a while!! read more

What a lovely gem this bakery was! The exterior just called to you to step inside. As you walk up to it, there's a beautiful garden out front with a few tables and chairs. The inside was just as adorable! The cakes, cookies, muffins, almond croissants and other baked goodies all stared out at you as if to say "eat me"! read more

Yes, the wait is real, and yes, the bakery is tiny, but for the right folks, it's 100% worth it. Cute gem that felt very homey upon entering. They have a wide variety of bakery items (both sweet and savory) and answered any questions you have. I enjoyed the hot chocolate (Saturdays and Sundays only) + took cakes to family back home. read more
SO CUTE! everything here looked delicious. i tried the chocolate chip cookie and gave it a 6.5/10 because it just wasn't my style of cookie but it was good. my friend gave it an 8/10 the frittata was an 8/10 love it inside. such cute decor and the bathroom is so cute also read more
Darling & delightful & delicious! It's all about the ambience at Triple Crown, and they've got it in spades with mismatched chairs, delicate glassware & an all-around cozy, home-y feel. I ordered the cream cheese brioche; It was overly indulgent it all the best ways. Every bite was like the best part of the cinnamon roll (the center.) On a person note, I used to boycott Triple Crown cause I worked for a competing bakery in Franklin. But I'm ready to wave the white flag and admit: Triple Crown is the sweetest spot on Main St! read more

Coming to Triple Crown Bakery was like stepping onto the set of Bridgerton with its English tea aesthetic and decor. There are beautiful dainty gift items for sale - like Harney & Sons tea blends, mugs, novels by Jane Austen and Charlotte Brontë, and more. It's a tight little shop in a beautiful old home, with cute indoor and outdoors seating areas. We got our items to go bc we were full from lunch still. The service was kind and attentive as we made our choices from the many delectable options. I went with the Cream Cheese Brioche (and fully enjoyed it warmed up for about 15 secs at home), and my bf savored his double chocolate cake bite - very elite level! We will be back and this would be the cutest spot for meeting a friend or bringing the kiddos for a special treat. Only knock is that none of the items are priced and it shocks you when you are checking out because it's very pricey! read more

First time visitor. Why so long?.... I have no idea. I've heard great things for years but today was the day. They have a great location in a cute house just off Main Street in Downtown Franklin. Parking is "Franklin parking" but if you are good to walk, there are lots of spaces many of them without charge. Staff was very pleasant and efficiently getting customers through the checkout counter. I picked a couple of mini quiche and a couple of muffins to bring home. The quiche were very good, nice flaky crust, good flavor without being overly greasy. We sampled the Tomato/Goat cheese and the bacon. Both are items I would order again. Got the morning glory muffin and it was really good, large and chock full of nuts, raisins and goodness. Pretty filling though so yes, you could split it especially if you are having anything else. Took me a while to get here but I'll be back soon! read more

This is the cutest little place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Adorable indoor seating for 2-4 people with a variety of tea time chairs. Various seating outside with heaters on the patio and lovely soft blankets to keep you extra warm. The staff is friendly and welcoming and was so quick to bring out our order too. The pastries are phenomenal. Great flavor and freshness. We had both the muffin and the scone warmed up - highly recommend. Their in house hot cocoa did not disappoint and we loved the little extra valentines touch! read more

I ran into this place when I was visiting my parents in Franklin this week and ended up stopping in twice. It's a darling historic home, renovated with a decidedly British accent and perfect for high tea. There's a dining room or you can walk up to the case and take your treats to go. The butterfly tea lemonade was as delicious as it was beautiful. Im a sucker for that purple ombre aesthetic, but it wasn't overly sweet. My niece and I enjoyed it after a walk around the historic Franklin Square. But she and I have a sweet tooth, so we went back for the pastries and cake. She chose the hostess style chocolate cake and went straight to the cream filled center. It was the way you wished those store bought snack cakes taste. I chose the homemade pop-tart and sliced a piece off for the next few days. It was as good the first day as the last. These folks know their pastries. Definitely worth stopping in regularly and a great addition to Historic Franklin. read more

Wow! We noticed this place while looking for parking. It's so cute we had to stop!! Looks like a cute little tea house. All the desserts looked so good!!! I tried a thumbprint cookie. Very moist and perfectly baked! I also tried the lemon blueberry trifle. Perfection!! Staff was friendly which made it nice since there was a long line to get in. read more
