A perfect cake for a perfect celebration!

The cake that we ordered from Kailey Cakes was absolutely the most extraordinary one I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Everyone at the party thought it was such a delicious chocolate cake flavor as well as the smooth, decadent frosting! We sent in via email a picture to Kailey Cakes of how we wanted to the cake to be decorated for my daughter's 30th birthday celebration. The cake turned out to be a flawless replica of the picture we had sent in to her! She does AMAZING work- it's an art PLUS it all tastes heavenly!

    Custom cake!

Ordered a cake for my brother's 25th birthday!! It came out PERFECTLY!! It was exactly how I wanted it ! Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted just as good, if not better! Moist cake and delicious frosting! We got chocolate cake, with caramel filling, and vanilla buttercream!

The Wedding Cake of my Dreams! Kailey Cakes did such a fantastic job on our wedding cake. I LOVE cake so I cared a lot about having one that was tasty. We had almond with a vanilla buttercream and banana with a peanut butter mousse with the vanilla buttercream. It was so delicious and the cake itself was STUNNING. Highly recommend them for your special day!

We tried the egg salad, chicken salad, the viral hot cocoa with the peppermint marshmallow, plus a few bakery treats because obviously we have no self-control. That cocoa??? Unreasonably good. Like I'd go back just for that. They had kid sizes too, which is a major plus. They've got patio seating, which is always a yes, and the staff was super friendly even while moving at full-speed. It's a bit cramped inside, but everything about it is gorgeous. A quaint, charming tea room. My ONLY complaint and this is truly nit-picky is that I wish my biscuit had been warmed up. Will definitely return!

I LOVE a good bakery and I am kinda spoiled by over 30 years in San Francisco, where there is a great one every few blocks. I just found all the photos on my phone and realized I had not reviewed this place from last month's mini vacation. And honestly I know we got like 4 things for 4 of us to take home and snack on for the next day or so, but I don;t recall all the things we got EXCEPT for the white almond frosted cake(slice, but in a round shape). Everyone agree it was the one to beat, and not to take the crown, but it was the one that I chose. This reminds me that I need to find all the bakeries near me now that do "cake tasting" boxes and just treat myself every once in a while!!

This is my review for the bakery:…read more I really wanted to support this small bakery, but my experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. When I first visited, the owner, Steve Bledsoe, asked where we were from. After I said California, he told an employee to give us the "California discount." When the total came out to $40 per pie, I was shocked and asked why the price was so high. I was given a long explanation about premium ingredients and homemade quality. Feeling awkward and wanting to support a family-owned business, I went ahead and bought four pies. The next day, when I came back to pick them up, I noticed on the register that another customer had been charged $25 per pie. That was a big red flag. To double-check, I later called the shop as a new customer and was told pies are $25. When I asked to speak with the owner, his answers were inconsistent and unconvincing. I'm extremely disappointed. especially in a local business that relies on community trust. I left feeling like I was charged more simply because the owner thought he could get away with it. I will not be returning, and I hope the business reconsiders how it handles pricing and customer interactions. On top of the dishonesty. The pies were not great. I could have supported Costco and bought larger pies that tasted just as good, if not, better.

The shop is cutesy with pink walls and a little social media worthy photo op on one of the walls. Lines are hit or miss. I either walk by and nobody is there or it's a long line. I can't say service at this location has ever been noteworthy. It's more just moving people through the line. They offer mini and regular sized donuts. I love, love, love that they offer mini donuts. I've never been a big fan of their donuts, but the winter donuts may have changed my mind. My favorites have been Sugar Cookie and Gingerbread Latte. I enjoyed the buttery, flaky layers. I also grabbed an iced sugar cookie and that was delicious. For drinks they offer coffees and a case with sparkling waters, juice, and canned coffee. Five Daughters is worth a try if you find yourself near a location.

When I got to my destination, two had turned over and were smashed. Mistakes happen. Wish I was told when I arrived that the order was lost and they would have to start from scratch. This happened the last time I ordered also. And I'm not one of those that demands restitution for mistakes, but it would have been nice to have been offered something for the inconvenience. Bottom line - don't depend on the online ordering feature to be received accurately by the local franchise and don't order these on a tight deadline.
