Stopped by Eighth & Main Burger Co. and had a great experience. I ordered the Pepper Popper Burger with a side of crispy Brussels sprouts and started with the basket of pork rinds. The Pepper Popper Burger was outstanding--juicy smash burger patties topped with spicy cream cheese, bacon, jalapeño poppers, and hot pepper bacon jam. It hit that perfect balance of savory, smoky, sweet, and spicy without any one flavor overpowering the others. The burger was cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor in every bite. The crispy Brussels sprouts were a pleasant surprise and paired really well with the burger. I do wish they had some sort of sauce to dip them in or to pour over. They were certainly good on their own. The pork rinds were fresh, light, and crispy--not greasy at all. They made for a great appetizer and were perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh. Eighth & Main is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back! read more

Eighth & Main is easy to find in the downtown Columbia area. The burgers here were pretty good. The employees here were friendly and helpful. The food is definitely made fresh and to order vs. being fast food. The dining room is large with lots of tables and booths. There are a few more near the entrance too. I ordered the Fungus Among Us. It was a double smash burger with Swiss and mushrooms. The burger was tasty and the bun was nice and buttery. The sweet and spicy Brussels sprouts were simple and tasty. My husband had the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and thought it was pretty good. My daughter had the kid's meal with a corn dog and fries. She enjoyed it. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're in this area and craving a burger. read more

Another fantastic visit to 8th & Main Burger! I just had to leave another review because their new Southern Sting Wings are amazing! Perfectly fried, super crispy, and that sauce is absolutely perfect. Every bite was packed with flavor. Their burgers have always been top-notch (still the best in Columbia, hands down), and after years of dining here, the food has been consistently great every single time. My go-to side dish is always the crispy Brussels sprouts with that sweet and spicy sauce. It is so addictive! Overall, 8th & Main continues to be my favorite burger spot in Columbia, TN. Hidden restaurant in Downtown Columbia, TN., Eighth & Main Burger Company is a fantastic place to stop to eat! Great atmosphere, service, food is unbelievable. Took me back to the lake around Celina and St. Marys Ohio. Love the Huge Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, and the Greek pasta salad was delicious as well. We drove from Nashville today and was not disappointed. A good friend posted about his experience here, which is why we came. Thank you, we will tell others and will definitely be back. read more

We came on a first Friday and there was a long line but they were great to communicate the wait would be 30 mins. Our friends recommended the place and they did not disappoint!!! Hands down the BEST smash burger we've had from here to Nashville We ordered 3 Classic Smash Burgers with fries + onion rings and one kids burger. The fries were crispy, the burgers had amazing flavor and not bland at all. The onions rings were so crispy. We will definitely be back! The young men at the front really held things down with the huge crowd and were so kind. Unfortunately, we ate too fast and didn't take any pics but it was 10/10. read more

This is a newer burger place in town. I really enjoyed The Devil Goes Down to Georgia burger (see pic). The service was very nice and place is fine inside. My only complaint are the fries, not my fave by far (reminded me of High School cafeteria fries). But they have other options for side other than fries! read more

Usually give the benefit of the doubt to all local places but we had some issues here. First of all, the classic smashburger was good, but there are a few things that need help. In order to get a plain cheeseburger, we had to buy the $14 burger and have them take everything off. Very strange. The floors in the dining area were sticky, and lots of flies in the restaurant. They need a fan at the doors to mitigate that. Good potential, nice people, just needs some refining. We'd return (but we do miss the hot chicken!) read more

The place isn't much to look at on the inside but the burgers are fantastic! I had their smash burger with fries, my wife had their mushroom burger w/ fried okra (I know, I don't get it either - but she's from the South). I had a recommendation to try the Jalapeño Popper Burger, and I've been ruined for any other burger. A little heat, inspired with fried cheese on top. Service is terrible. It's the same staff that worked the failed big shakes restaurant here in Columbia so you know how you're going to be treated and how your food is going to turn out.
