I walked to the bakery and was impressed with the desserts presented. For our meal I ordered pita gyro lamb and beef sandwich and it was BOGO and ordered a side of fries, my wife ordered chicken parmesan with all you can eat salad. My sandwich was excellent, but my extra sandwich was better because I saved it the next day and microwaved it, it was really good. The side of fries was very crispy, not oily and hot, so they were excellent. Grecian is definitely a restaurant to visit.

Located in a quiet small strip mall area of Brentwood suburb, Mediterranean Cuisine is maybe one of…read morethe stranger names for a restaurant that one could derive. It is clearly descriptive, at the same time, it's a name of an entire food category translated into a restaurant name. In reality, the restaurant is a mix of Greek and Lebanese influences. The gyro platter is one of the more popular items. The gyro itself is served with a sauce over it and generally enjoyable. The tabbouleh is the real disappointment, parsley is clearly not washed well, so the entire salad is full of crunchy sand. Basically, inedible. The chefs must not have tried it. Lastly, the hummus is ok, but extremely acidic and felt off balance. That might be a matter of taste however. Inside, the establishment is clean and casually decorated. Mediterranean Cuisine is clearly a family run business with kind and pleasant staff working, preparing some solid food, but also does not need some extra attention in the kitchen to make the dishes something worth returning for.

I ordered 2 gyro sandweech (spelt that way on purpose) and 1 white meat chicken sandweech (all had same toppings) with a side of white sauce and an herb sauce. I did a build your own, which allowed you to choose which toppings you wanted. I also got them toasted, but there is a name for the process that makes them toastier. Just ask for it to be extra toasty, they'll know what to do. My toppings: protein of choice, feta, lettuce, onion, tomato, Mediterranean ranch, black olives, rice, and tabbouleh! It looks small from the outside but, there is seating within for you to actually enjoy the experience of eating in. I must say I enjoyed the white chicken sandweech a lot more than the gyro. The chicken was seasoned so well to where it elevated the entire wrap. Will most definitely get the white meat chicken again. Gyro 4/5 Chicken 10/5 lol For all 3 wraps and the two side 2oz sauces, I paid $48. I guess I should've paid attention to the pricing, but it's devoured now. They do special deals on certain days for $9.99 which includes a drink. Monday: some sort of bowl and drink. Tuesday: sandweech, side of fries and drink. Go on a Tuesday! It's cheaper if a sandweech is what you want.

I've been planning a visit since I occasionally travel past this location and noticed the high Yelp rating. And I really love Greek food. We arrived and were warmly greeted and they were in the process of mopping the floors, indicating a concern for cleanliness (as did the cylinders of sanitary/wet wipes on each table). The prices were decent and the portions were huge. I had the house platter so I could sample the most items. And to this I added french fries and a soft drink. My wife had the chicken platter and also received a huge portion. Despite the business's name, it appears this is closer to Egyptian rather than Greek cuisine. The french fries were perfect - crisp and nicely seasoned. Also, there's no salt on the tables (only hot sauce), although little salt & pepper packets can be found on a wall shelf. The pita bread was soft and warm. Of the meats, the gyro had some subtle flavor and was nice. Nothing tasted bad, but the salad, feta, chicken, rice, tzatziki, etc. was incredibly bland. In fact, it was so tasteless that it was off-putting and we couldn't even finish our meals. We're clearly not the target audience for this type of offering.
