Huge fan of this place! This hole in the wall restaurant is the real deal. The plate sizes are super generous and you can easily get full off of half a plate. The soups are also tasty and hummus is made in house. My favorites are the Gyro and Fish plates. Again, generous portions and delicious. King Gyros First stop on the Gyro tour reviewing local restaurants. Fries came on the side, homemade zest spice/paprika/salt seasoning on top. Fresh grilled pita was soft and good. Gyro was beef lamb mixture with good pita, added lettuce, white onion, tabbouleh, and tzatziki. Put fries in afterward. The tabbouleh had Lemmon juice, parsley, onion and tomatoes. Added a nice flavor and really put this location ahead of others. They said they make their own tzatziki daily! It was delicious. I saw a Gyros plate ordered by another customer and it was a generous portion! Overall King Gyros was delicious and the pricing was more than reasonable. They are a beautiful husband and wife working hard to deliver good food and happiness! I would highly recommend this restaurant for flavor, value, and service! I will be back. read more

We made a quick stop in Franklin, Tennessee and stumbled upon Kings Gyro. Our son wanted gyro for lunch, which was such a great idea as we were getting a little tired of ordinary fast food options during our long drive. Kings Gyro is conveniently located and has plenty of parking. As soon as we entered, we were greeted warmly, and as we took the time to study the menu, few locals came in for their usual and excitedly shared how Kings Gyro has been their absolute favorite! My son ended up getting a gyro sandwich (minus feta), which was huge with a generous amount of meat. I tried the baba ghanoush with pita and falafel, which were great! Chef took the time to make sure everything was to our liking, which was appreciated. We could see the chef while our meals were being prepared, which was fun for the kiddo. Restaurant was very clean and well-organized. Aesthetics was pretty basic and more focused on efficiency, which we didn't mind for our quick lunch. Wow the food here is great! Fresh and very tasty! I had the chicken plate and it was ALL SO GOOD!! Rice was perfect, chicken was tender, and the salad was divine! In a nutshell, this is a small family business in a strip shopping hole in the wall serving up terrifically delicious gyros. Not much to look at from the outside, and not much to look at from the inside. A sea of parking spaces out front of the strip. A handful of tables close together, so it could easily get packed when busy, but they seem to do a good amount of to go business. Very friendly and efficient. Falafel was full of flavor, and the pita was loaded with fresh ingredients. My wife had the chicken gyro, which was also excellent with the chicken seasoned nicely. The hummus was smooth and creamy and delicious. The pitas are nice and fluffy with just a little bit of good chewiness. My wife said the spanakopita was amazing, but I'll have to take her word for it because she enjoyed it so much I didn't get to taste it! The restaurant is a small casual place that is not at all pretending to be fancy. Everything looks like it has been there forever, with photos on the wall that are fading and a little damaged. I normally get the fish platter which comes with rice and salad and a piece of bread. It does take a little bit longer to prepare than some of the other food but it is definitely worth it.
