I'll start by saying the food was great. The steak was tender - I only had one piece I couldn't eat. I loved the build your own set up, but also having recipe options to choose from. The staff, however, we're not friendly at all. It was our first time in and we felt extremely rushed. My husband didn't end up loving his bowl because he felt pressured to make quick decisions. There was no one in line. The staff that helped us couldn't have care if we existed. It was very unwelcoming. The staff are either very unkind people or really don't like their job. Either way, management should really consider addressing this. The cafe was not the most clean - there were pieces of pita on the floor, food scattered under tables, and we had to search for a clean table to eat at. The bathrooms weren't much better. We likely won't come back to this location, unless out of necessity (our only option).

My sister has been telling me to try this place and I finally was able to go. There's not one super close to me so since we were in the area we decided to stop by. I can't say night about it, it was so good. I hope they expand their locations in Nashville as I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The restaurant was cleans and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be back.

I found a large sharp piece of metal in my meal. Literally pulled this out of my mouth. If I had ingested this, i would have been hospitalized. Please do not go to this Cava location.

*DoorDash experience* CAVA is one of those places where I don't feel bad spending my money on takeout. I made sure to add as much veggies as I can get, while also adding some protein(steak) The falafel and pita chips definitely made it even better

The menu has so much variety & a lot of different kinds of flavors to choose from. I went with a classic plate with tofu and two sides of mac and cheese & Brussels sprouts. We also added an avocado hummus which was amazing. The macaroni was a stand out for me but everything ended up being great. We had three little kids with our group and got lucky with an open booth table in the back corner. I appreciated the light and fun decorations and the kids had a good time looking around and of course crawling on the booth. Lol! Afterwards I learned this is a chain and there's one closer to where I live so I will absolutely be back!

I ordered The Flying Avocado Wrap that came with mixed greens that had a light dressing. My husband ordered the Steak Salad & liked it too. He noted that it would have been better with a blue cheese dressing instead of ranch dressing. The atmosphere is energetic & the decor is happy & the dining area is full of lots of natural light. I am already looking forward to my next visit! Possibly when it is nicer weather so I can take advantage of the patio. The only reason I am giving FC 4 stars is because the tables are SO close together ( you could literally hear people's entire conversations). It is also a bit pricey but, heck , I do not mind paying up a 'lil for good eats! Stop in & give it a try. There is something for everyone on the menu. Bon Appetite !

I was in this part of town and starving, but wasn't feeling a chain sandwich place for whatever…read morereason. I was pleasantly surprised to find Jambox very close. I found a very simple website with menus, but not the ability to order ahead of time. I got the vibe that it's a brand new business just getting up and figuring itself out, so I'm more willing than usual to give it the benefit of the doubt and some time. They have a cassette tape theme going on, so I guess the owner has a thing for older music and the culture of cassettes, which aligns with the "mix tape" loyalty club. I suppose that also has to do with the name. All the sandwiches have "fun," but non-helpful names, so I had to read all the descriptions a few times to get an idea of what they had. He pointed me to the option that was most like an Italian sub that I was craving. It wasn't clear, so I had to ask about where I tell them how I would like it (no tomatoes or mayo, etc) and the answer was right there at the register. I didn't see general options anywhere, so I didn't know how else I might customize, plus I was in a hurry and not in the mood to have that conversation right then, or in person, for that matter. I paid (kudos for having contactless payment options!) and went to the other end of the counter for a brief wait, then I got my sandwich and was out the door (my order was 'to go.') The sandwich was good, I ate it all and enjoyed it. The nature of its construction made it less stable and more fall-aparty than I was expecting to eat while driving (part of the reason to get a sub), but I made do. The bread was a little disappointing. It was good, but I think my expectations weren't aligned. I wasn't offered a choice of bread and I don't remember if there was an obvious "choose your bread" display right by the register or not. It was white sub bread. The outside of the bread was just as white as the inside; I guess I'm used to the outside of the bread being a little darker than the inside and a bit stronger to hold everything together. It was a bit more crumbly than I was expecting or thought was appropriate for a sandwich. This also meant it was more flexible, as in while I'd hold it to take a bite, the back of the bread would lift up and let things fall out that I had to put back, and then adapt how I was holding it to keep all the good stuff inside. I don't remember the bread having any flavor, it was just an edible tool to hold the sandwich innards. Normally I'd add oil/vinegar to an Italian sub, but I'm glad I didn't here or it would have been a bigger oily mess to clean up rather than just putting it back when things fell out. Bottom line for me (if you had a different experience or have a different opinion, I'm happy for you), it was good but not amazing. I don't think I'd stop there again when I'm in the area unless I'm starving again. If it were closer to me, I might keep my eye on it to see how it matured and adapted over time to maybe have options I liked more, but I won't be making the trek to where it is in Franklin just to get a sandwich there. However, since my taste isn't universal, if you're in the area and curious, I'd say give it try. You may really like it and the cassette thing may speak to you. I wish the owner only the best! Tangentially, nothing to do with the food or business: It's on a busy road and the entrances there are a little tricky, so just be aware and don't pull in slightly too soon and find yourself in the wrong parking lot that isn't connected.

We went early and snagged seats at the bar to kick things off with cocktails, which turned out to be a great move. The bar staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel welcoming right away. I started with an Old Fashioned made with Sazerac Rye--excellent. Smooth, well-balanced. In the summer months, the outdoor seating is a great option too. Once seated at our table, we dove into appetizers. There were four of us, so sharing was the name of the game. The White Truffle Garlic Bread was a standout--warm, aromatic, and downright addictive. We also ordered the Italian Meatballs (two per order), so naturally we got two orders. Big flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth it. Add in the Wild Shrimp Scampi and the Calamari--both cooked just right--and we were off to a strong start. For my entrée, I went with the Ricotta Cavatelli. It was rich and comforting with just a subtle hint of lemon. I usually lean toward spicy dishes, so this was a departure for me, but as a crab lover, I really enjoyed it. That said, if you're looking for heat, this isn't the dish for you. We also had the Sunday Night Lasagna...on a Wednesday. Rules are meant to be broken. It was hearty, flavorful, and absolutely delivered. Dessert was a must--and North Italia did not disappoint. The Tiramisu is non-negotiable. The Salted Caramel Budino was so good. The Hazelnut Torta? Fantastic. And the Salted Caramel Gelato--just get it. Trust me. Last but definitely not least, our server Matt was amazing. Great personality, attentive without hovering, and really added to an already excellent experience. North Italia delivers great food, a fun atmosphere, and top-notch service. A place I'd happily return to again and again.

We stopped in while traveling through town and were excited to return. After being seated inside, we noticed a small ant on the table. It didn't seem like a big deal at first, so we removed it and continued with our meal. Our server was friendly, and the food itself was good. However, about halfway through, more ants started appearing--eventually over 10--crawling on the table and around our food. We informed our server, who notified management, but in the meantime we were trying to eat while dealing with ants around our plates. This visit was on March 31st around 6 pm. The manager eventually came over and said they were probably coming from the window, then asked if we would like to move and thanked us for being understanding. She also mentioned they wouldn't be seating anyone else at that table for the rest of the evening. At that point, we had nearly finished eating and didn't want to disrupt our three young children by moving. More importantly, the situation could have been handled differently. Rather than asking if we wanted to move, it would have felt more appropriate for her to take the lead and say something like, "Let me move you to another table," instead of putting it on us in a way that felt dismissive. When you're spending around $140 on a meal, you shouldn't have to deal with bugs on your table. A small gesture--like offering a complimentary dessert or otherwise acknowledging the inconvenience--would have gone a long way in making the experience feel handled with care.
